It is a truth universally acknowledged that Mr Poe is the most deliciously smug super extra cool, most despicably adorable judgmental and most wonderfully hilarious extra super clever shapeshifting psychic feline that ever was and ever will be. Also, I have it on good authority that he is Sherlock's fifth cousin thrice removed.

Yay! We got another Mr. Poe book!

I'm not really a fan of cats as an animal - they are slinky - but I don't mind this series or character, as I think it gives a good idea of how cats think - or at least the way I think they think.
Other than that, this series is fun and short and a comfort-read.
Well written and entertaining.

This book had some interesting twists that I didn't expect, but I was glad to see them, as they expanded on excisting problems but didn't quite solve them. I hope that means we get at least one more book!

I’m really loving these short, sweet stories – which I never really thought I’d say about any series included in the Decentverse. 😉

Mr. Poe gets himself caught up in the most interesting mysteries. Fall of the House of Cat is made even more interesting by the fact that he has a new, unexpected partner. His arch-enemy – Cèsar.

The pair called an uneasy truce during the investigation and in the process learned a lot about themselves and each other. I loved the banter between the two of them and how they eventually began to work with, instead of against each other. Between Mr. Poe’s “modesty” and Cèsar’s wit and “charm”, Fall of the House of Cat was one of the most entertaining additions to The Psychic Cat Mysteries so far. Of course, I may be a bit biased, because Cèsar is one of my favorite characters in the Decentverse. Mr. Poe’s animosity toward him really bugged me – silly, I know, but it is what it is…

By the end of Fall of the House of Cat, Cèsar and Mr. Poe come to somewhat of an understanding. There’s still a little tension, but not as much as there was, at least from Mr. Poe’s POV. I can’t wait to see what comes next for Mr. Poe and the rest of the residents of Haven.

I didn't like it as much as the previous ones, though it's OK. It's not bad.

MAN, I sort of love Mr. Poe and his concentrated disdain for anything not-cat. Excluding his mummies, of course. And, well, he's kind of disdainful of Cèsar who is, himself, feline fae, but that's part of Mr. Poe's charm. He is the indomitable Mr. Poe. Being a cat, he's smarter than most anyone else and he's not afraid to let people know it.

Mr. Poe's shenanigans are all good and well, but I was really here for seeing how he and Cèsar came to a truce/understanding. To be honest, Cèsar took everything pretty well. And he started to see how some of his actions might have caused a cat who's not just a cat to take a bit of a dislike to him.

(I've always liked Cèsar even when he was in his human-puppy-dog stage - aka before the world was remade - and I REALLY liked seeing this other, softer side of him again. The side that cleaned off Mr. Poe's shoes so he wouldn't have to suffer the indignity of mud and dirt. The side that saw Mr. Poe's side of things when he really started thinking about it.)

A animalistic mystery, a deep conversation about mortality and death, and a new addition to the family. Good stuff, Mr. Poe. Good stuff.

Mr. Poe is full of shenanigans

I absolutely LOVE reading about Mr. Poe and seeing all of the things he gets to to. Reading about his adventures is such a refreshing break from everything. He's so mischievous and such a wonderful detective 🧐😏 I'll never get tired of reading about him

I dunno. I have a thing about books told from a cats point of view I guess. Provided it's done well, I'm usually a big fan.
These books are also mysteries...and inspired by Poe stories. What isn't to like? These were short, fun reads and I enjoyed all of them!

I do love Mr Poe. Sara writes wonderfully and prolifically. Mr Poe is a typical cat and you can tell that Sara has cats from her character. Her understanding of felines innate superiority and absolute faith that they are always right, is wonderful to read. It's also lovely to see Poe and Caesar getting along in this one.

Great book

Poe and Cesar, who would have thought?
This was a wonderful story that kept me entertained from start to finish.
I loved the few tidbits about what was going on Earthside, with relevant characters.
Please keep them coming.

Another Catventure!

The tales of Mr Poe continue in this short addition to the series. Not only is he older, but he's also becoming wiser! And in that wisdom, he's learning how to tolerate certain sidhe in his life.

Such a delightful series!

Enjoyed this book very much! A great little mystery and the story line was nice. The characters were interesting. So now Mr. Poe has a cute little sidekick!
And a cuddly cute one she is, too!
