Keith Kareem Williams is the author of over 20 books & 7 screenplays. He still resides in his hometown of Brooklyn, New York where he delicately balances his time between his responsibilities as a single father as well as the challenges of being a full-time author.
“In interviews, one of the most difficult questions I’ve been asked is, ‘What genre are your novels?’ because honestly, I never write with any particular style in mind. I enjoy blending styles and mashing different genres together in interesting ways. Basically, I pen whatever is in my heart and soul. However, if I had to describe my style I would use musical terms and say that I write Urban, Hip-Hop, fiction with the rhythm of Reggae that crashed into Heavy Metal and then began to bleed Neo Soul. I write Alternative Urban Fiction.”
One of the things I'm most proud of is how my children look at me with pride because I'm accomplishing my goals and doing the things I set out to do with my career. They recognize and respect my passion. I write constantly and I already have the titles & plots lined up for my next 92 novels. This is what I do and I'm just trying to let the rest of the world know this. My ambition is to become as legendary as some of the writers I admire. I believe that a GOOD writer pulls you into their story. A GREAT writer makes the world around you fall away as you read. The LEGENDARY writers tell stories that become a part of you and linger long after you've read the last line of the last chapter. It was once said that, the pen is mightier than the sword. I say to my fellow AUTHORS: Let's advance our craft until it's mightier than guns, grenades, bullets & nuclear bombs. If not, then put your pen down and fall back. Those of us who are serious about this will run you over as if we were riding in tanks.” – Keith Kareem Williams

This is a good book.

Gracia had me worried in the beginning of this story. Keon loved that woman, yet every conversation they had, she spoke in riddles, as if he should have intuitively known what she was thinking. That annoyed me.

Enter Georgia, the ex who felt the door was permanently open for her because she and Keon had kids together. Casey wasn’t playing with her, and she felt she’d force her daughter to love her because she said so. Keon politely burst her narcissistic bubble.

Sadiya was the only one out of the three who made sense, and truth be told, she was who he needed the most. I’m glad to see them together.

I loved how the author took the time to show the turmoil felt by Keon, who seriously thought he had an obligation to protect these women’s feelings who didn’t feel the same about him. On the outside looking in, it may have been considered harsh, but we all have an obligation to ourselves first and others second.

Great job Mr Williams. Looking forward to reading more of your work.

Exhausting!!!! These folks are EXHAUSTING!!!

Let me quickly say, I enjoyed this book BUT, for all the wrong reasons. I had to know what was going to happen, or NOT happen next with Keon and his broads. These very grown folks’ behavior was so frustrating to read. But, I wasn’t goin’ stop reading! Call me a glutton for punishment, but I had to figure out who and what was going to piss me off next.

The worst of them was Gracia. Self-destructing, energy-draining Gracia. Poor Keon didn’t stand a chance.

Anywho, this novel will irritate your soul, in a good way. If that’s actually possible. Mainly, because the characters, albeit are reckless and ridiculous with their behavior, it’s a very real reflection of what dating currently looks like for so many men and women who’re trying to find love after heartbreak.

This book was quite different from the last book I read from Mr. Williams. This book felt personal I could feel Keon's pain and his uncertainty while dealing with Gracia and Georgia. Let me be clear when I say that the three of them worked my nerves. I just wanted to shake them a little. I felt the authenticity through the pages. It was realistic because there are times when we do things in the name of love that don't make sense. The heart wants what it wants. EyeCU Reading Approved & Recommended

This book felt a little all over the place for me. Although it kind of mimicked the indecisiveness that definitely happens in relationships, the characters were annoying to follow. I enjoyed parts of the read but it was one of those situations where the characters was the ones you love to hate. I do look forward to reading more from the author but definitely not the same characters.

Time Doesn't Stop for Broken Clocks by Keith Kareem Williams was a very interesting read. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. The author made the characters and the situations so relatable that the book was playing as a movie in my head . Once I got started, it was hard for me to put down. I needed to know how it was going to end. This was a quick read, I would definitely recommend the book.

Supremely insightful

I have been reading this author off and on for a bit now. I enjoy his work but this read took me by surprise. It was grown folk talk situations and self care and happiness. It gave a great insight from a man's point of view of what they go through with feelings and love and loss. It's a short read but full of insight. My advice, get it and enjoy!

Broken People

This is the first time where nearly every character in the book got on my last nerve. It is hard to believe that everyone can be so broken, challenged and indecisive yet so appealing and desirable.

Time Doesn’t Stop for Broken Clocks or broken people.

I give this book 3.5 stars.

Differences

This book was completely different from most I've read yet it seems I've read it many times before. I feel like I knew the end before I finished reading the last chapter. However I really didn't.

Pick a side!

These characters drove me crazy. All of them. They were torn between what they wanted, what they needed & what they were afraid of. Even Sadiyah's cryptic antics made me scream. But..... with that being said, it was a great read.

It was realistic, intriguing and well written. I was invested in where they all landed. The Author did a great job in pulling me in and keeping me there.
