Daimon is ice. His heart is frozen by it. His body caged by it. And he likes it that way. But the sexy sorceress that storms into his life and declares herself a part of his team in his battle against the daemon uprising is determined to melt the ice that has shielded him for centuries, and he’s powerless to stop the burning need she ignites in him.

Even when he’s sure it’s only a game to her.

Cassandra has a sword hanging over her, a duty she has no choice but to perform and one she’s been putting off for years. Her latest excuse? Helping a band of immortal brothers with a war that might mean the end of this world if they fail. Her delaying the inevitable has nothing to do with the gorgeous Greek god who keeps rebuffing her and everything to do with saving the world. He’s a nice distraction and nothing more. She keeps telling herself that.

Even when she’s sure he’s a danger to her heart.

As things heat up in the battle to save the mortal world and the Underworld, will Daimon’s icy heart be able to withstand the fiery witch who can scorch him with just a look?

If you love Greek gods romance books featuring powerful dark lords of the Underworld and strong heroines who steal their hearts, this adult paranormal romance series is for you!

3 just ok stars.

A couple elements at play that I didnt like with this one, which is a shame because I was really anticipating this book to be one that I would love.

-Daimon loved and lost an other woman in his past which makes him push the h away.
-The heroine is promised to someone else so she does her own pushing away.

So theyre both pushing away.... which leads to very little romance and all buildup that doesnt satisfy in the end. For the first 70% you hear all the reasons why they cant be together and then...

WHAM! The 'I love yous' come out of nowhere. Felt rushed and bogged down with all of the annoying fight scenes mixed in.

I'm still looking forward to Keras book, but im sure that one is going to face the same problems this one had with the little information we have to go on.

Safety:
-Hero celibate for two centuries. But prior to that, he got a girl pregnant and they died in battle. The hero was celibate ever since her death and promised his loyalty to her until the end of time.
-Heroine had past sexual experience
-No cheating, no OW/OM drama, no other people after meeting
-hate to love romance

Felicity has been a long time fav of mine from the first book I read which was Bewitched, to her latest release Daimon. The Guardians of Hades has been such an amazing series and now 6 books in, the theme, the characters, some heat, some action and detail brings together a story the I really enjoyed reading.

Daimon can bring you and whole new meaning *It's cold outside baby* this male is sex personified. a heart can't help but break for him, imagine your life not being able to be touched. so is the power to freeze a gift or a curse?

Watch out for little miss sass in the beautiful witch known by friends as Cassie, you're wanna be here personal cheerleader when she shows she isn't about to back down even from the brothers. Even as sassy as the witch is she's got some skeletons of her own.

The banter, the back and forth getting under your skin and getting feels I don't wanna feel laced in with some cool magic action and some dreamy I wish I was her scenes. Felicity brings off another read worthy tale. Grab it and enjoy.

Daimon is having a difficult time with his powers and cannot use touch unless you want to suffer from frostbite. Daimon is swirling with emotions and with Cassandra continually pushing his buttons he finds himself becoming difficult to ignore her. Can Cass be the solution or be a bigger part of the problem Daimon is dealing with?

There is so much more that goes on within the series. You have a traitor that you are trying to figure out who it is. Esher has disappeared, danger is continual around the Guardians and their mates. Throw in the chemistry between Daimon and Cass which is electric and you have a book you can't put down. Daimon was a fascinating character and was anxious to see how his story would play out. This is a terrific series I would strongly suggest to paranormal/fantasy readers.

Daimon is the sixth book in the Guardians of Hades series and we finally meet Mr Cool himself, Daimon. From the start, my heart has gone out to him. Just like Ares, he can't touch anyone without his power hurting them. Ares was lucky with Meghan, but Daimon is still alone.

Cass first showed up with Mari and Cal in book five. She is strong and not prepared to sit on the sidelines. She can't help but be near Daimon. At first, she thinks it's just an itch but realises it's so much more.

I loved this one and, to be honest, that took me by surprise. Although I have loved Daimon from the start, Cass came across as a bit abrasive in the other book. So I was delighted to find out there was a heart there after all AND the reasons behind her mask.

As with the others, the connection is immediate but these two sure work hard to make anything happen. A cat and mouse game of give and take, one step forward, two back... and it was PERFECT!

I am loving the overall story arc which becomes more intense with each book, plus the hint to Keras' book. A fantastic addition to the series that I absolutely recommend. Now I really can't wait for Keras!

* A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book, and the comments here are my honest opinion. *

I hated Cas with all my being. I could barely swallow the scenes she was in. I have waited months for this book and this is what I got; a female who is mentally abusive and decides she "wants what she wants". She has no care for anyone besides Mari. She doesn't respect boundaries and decides to go after a guy who needs therapy more than he needs a conniving POS. While I love this series I will NEVER read this book again.

Daimon is guardian of the Hong Kong gate, he’s also been blessed (or cursed in his case) with the ability to control Ice. The only downside of that is he can’t touch or be touched without severe frostbite. He’s constantly cold, and wants to go home, back to the Underworld (there his powers are manageable) but that’s not going to happen anytime soon!
He’s watched as his brothers have all found mates (well except Keras, and if he gets his head out of his butt, he could have a certain goddess!)
He’s envious, he wants what they all have. Well, in fact he’d just settle for someone to touch him without getting frostbite!
His brother Ares, use to know how he felt, (he controlled fire, and couldn’t touch anyone without them getting third degree burns!) until Megan came along, and now.... well let’s just say, it’s pretty unfair! He’s the odd guy out, the third wheel, in fact a big fat gooseberry!! All this love and companionship is making Daimon tired, but he’s promised his brother’s Keras and Esher, he will stay in the Tokyo mansion until the threat is over!!

Quick recap without trying to give too much away..... The brothers protect gates that connect the Underworld to this world. Only certain types of demons are allowed to pass through, it’s the Guardians jobs to stop the others demons.
But others are plotting to take over the Underworld (overthrow their father Hades) then merge the two worlds together (basically creating a hell on Earth)
Each book gives us more details to the plot, with the explosive culmination happening in Keras’s book!

Cassandra “Cassie” is guardian to Marinda (mate to Cal) and she’s also a pretty powerful witch.
She wasn’t sure that Marinda was going to be safe with the Guardians, but they’ve proved themselves capable in battle. That should have been the end of her duty, but a certain icy god has gotten her attention, she just needs to scratch that itch and then she will be on her way.

Cassie and Daimon meet in the previous book (calistos) and it’s almost hate at first sight. She thinks he’s a pompous a$$ and he thinks she’s a nightmare! Both bait each other at every opportunity that arises. She uses her magic to get one up on him, he tries to use his ice, but she seems to be one step ahead of him (unless he tries to drown her!) But there is a spark Daimon wants to ignore, but unlike most things that get close to him, Cassie only makes him burn hotter! His ice cold exterior is close to melting!!

But what we don’t know until we get to know Daimon better, is he did have someone before being banished to this realm.....
And so not only is he feeling guilty that he is beginning to like Cass, and he should be staying faithful to this other person.
He’s also also angry that he can’t touch Cassandra (and at first it’s to shut her up or drown her) and he wants to, badly!
But when things happen and Cass does touch him (remember powerful witch) then all bets are off, in fact the word MINE is growled and the blood that runs through his fathers veins, does indeed run through his, and he becomes possessive of Cass.

Cassandra is such a character, she’s a powerhouse in her own right, she’s sick of being sidelined when the action kicks off (oh boy does it kick off, and keeps kicking till your black and blue) she hates being told NO! And hates that her ward Marinda is still with Calistos, but she’s happy, and being well protected, so technically her job is done, she really should be getting back to her Coven.
But duty is waiting for her there, a duty Cass doesn’t think she can do any longer. She truly loves her sisters in the Coven, but here with the brothers and their mates, Cassandra sees a different type of family, and it’s now the one Cass wants. But life is never that easy....
We get closer to finding the traitor (and it’s one I thought it might be, but was still surprised when it was!) We get more information on missing family members, and we get a sneaky peek into Keras’s head (and that is one sad and scary place!)

The action is at full pelt for the whole book (I was exhausted just reading it!) sexy scenes are towards the end (but the banter and foreplay still made me chuckle)
You can be guaranteed tears, laughter, and a few OMG moments!

I didn’t think you could improve on the last book....
But with everything that goes on in this book, not only does it blow your mind, it also makes you wish for the book to be longer, or you need the last in the series like NOW.
I don’t know how the last book will play out, but it’s going to be EPIC!!

I received this book for an honest review and all views are my own

Daimon is the sixth book in the Guardians of Hades Romance Series.

Daimon is a fantastic character. I love him. When his father exiled him and his brothers on Earth to guard the gates to the Underworld, his power manifested in the human world, just like his older brother, Ares, did. Which makes it difficult for him to make physical contact with anyone without freezing them. When Marinda's godmother, Cassandra barges into the brothers' lives, Daimon is torn between keeping his heart encased in ice, or letting her melt his loneliness.

Cassandra is a complex character. I like this feisty sorceress. She has a determination and spunk in her that I admire in a female protagonist. She is instantly attracted to Daimon and is determined to get to know him better. As the icy god tries to keep her at arm's length, Cassandra finds her own heart is in danger of shattering as time is running out and she needs to decide on whether to do her duty or follow her heart.

I have eagerly awaited the release of this book. I originally received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the author. However, I pre-ordered a copy, and this review is based on the book I purchased.

I love reading the Guardians of Hades series; I love the world the author has created - a mixture of real and imagined, with a dash of action, adventure and romance. The brothers are loveable, with flaws and insecurities, which make them more realistic and relatable, and their women are strong and feisty.

In this story, the brothers are still trying to avoid the Morai prediction of both the human and Underworld colliding to create the Otherworld. It was a pleasure meeting the other brothers and their new loves once more. Hades and Persephone also make an appearance; they are typical parents - overprotective and loving. Hades is a scary god, no question. However, Persephone has him wrapped around her little finger.

The story arc is reaching a crescendo now. There is so much going on in this story that it keeps a reader gripped from the first page. The secretive, mysterious person behind the attack on the gates is revealed. I had a feeling this person was involved somehow, so it was nice to finally have it confirmed. Alas, it is difficult to write a review without revealing more. However, I can honestly say that I love to hate this villain. I can't wait to read the final book in the series, Keras, to find out how it all ends. But, I am also conflicted, because I don't want it to end either. Nevertheless, all good things come to an end at some time or another, and I guess I'll just have to read the stories over and over again!

Felicity Heaton has written another fast-paced, sexy paranormal romance that I thoroughly enjoyed. I love her fast-paced writing style, which flows effortlessly from scene to scene. She is on top of my favourite author's list.

Each book of this series could be read as a stand-alone, as this one does not end in a cliffhanger, though I would recommend reading them in order. I do not recommend this book to younger readers due to the extremely HOT and explicit sexual scenes. However, I highly recommend this book (and series) if you love sexy paranormal romances full of gods and daemons. - Lynn Worton

DAIMON is the sixth instalment in Felicity Heaton’s contemporary, adult THE GUARDIANS OF HADES paranormal/fantasy romance series loosely based in Greek mythology, focusing on seven brothers- the sons of Hades and Persephone -sent to Earth to guard the gates to the Underworld. This is Prince of the Underworld and Lord of Ice Daimon, and witch/sorceress Cassandra’s story line. DAIMON can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty but I recommend reading the series in order as the brothers struggle against an unknown enemy to keep the human world and the Underworld from colliding.

NOTE: The Guardians of Hades series is Felicity Heaton’s interpretation of, and does not follow, the actual Greek mythological family tree or events.

Told from several third person perspectives including Daimon and Cass DAIMON follows several paths including the building romance and relationship between Prince of the Underworld and Lord of Ice Daimon, and witch/sorceress Cassandra. Cassandra is/was the guardian of Calistos’ mate Marinda (Calistos #5), and as such has found herself in the unenviable position to be mistrusted as it pertains to her powers, the brothers, and everything they represent but as the portals to the Underworld continue to open allowing daemons and monsters to escape onto Earth, Cassandra’s special abilities aid the brothers in their battle to stay alive but it is Daimon’s attraction to Cass that gives pause as our hero believes he is unworthy of love having loved and lost in the past.

Meanwhile, Esher continues to defy his father Hades, remaining in the Underworld in search of the wraith who may have information about their sister and Calistos’ twin Calindria, a young goddess they believe is dead and gone. As the brothers continue to question the who, how and why of their inability to keep the portals closed, other Underworld inhabitants make life a little more miserable for the sons of Hades. What ensues is the building relationship and reluctant romance between Daimon and Cass, and the potential fall-out as Cassandra becomes the ultimate target in a war between the worlds.

DAIMON is a dramatic, character driven, detailed, action-packed, and introspective story of love and loss, betrayal and heart break; magic, power and control. The reader profits from the character’s thoughts and ideas, soul-searching and self-examination but saying that, the conversations and communication between characters is limited and narrow. The premise is complex and inviting but often protracted in several areas; the romance is fated and intense; the characters are edgy, colorful and energetic.

Loved this book. I have been eagerly anticipating this book and I was not disappointed.

Daimon has closed himself off from anyone who could get close to him and his feelings towards Cassandra both confuse and anger him. This book depicts why that is and you do feel for him. Cassandra is a brilliant character and the right kind of female that was paired with him.

Daimon is feeling lost and depressed without his brother Esher. He is focused on keeping Esher's female happy but extremely frustrated because he cannot quite connect and comfort her because he cannot make any physical contact. He is also consumed by his want of Cassandra the guardian Witch who has recently joined the group. She persues him relentlessly determined to break down all his emotional walls and connect with him. He does not want to connect to anyone and you learn there is a genuine reason for that. He is unnerved by his want of Cassandra but her persistence finally pays off and he starts accepting the fact he really likes her and all of her teasing and Provoking actually gets through to him and makes him see sense.

Cassandra is determined to get through to Daimon and break down all the emotional walls he has erected in order for him to actually bring him happiness in his life. She is also ridiculously attracted to him and initially just want a fumble in the sheets but the more she learns about him she slowly becomes a bit more involved and attached to the God and realises she may in fact want something more permanent. She unfortunately has a duty to her coven to produce a child with a hellspawn male picked by the elders. She has put off the deadline as long as she could and her hand is now being forced. She and Daimon overcome their obstacles together and I would say become the closest bonded couple so far in the series. Cassandra proves her worth within the group and shows everyone just how powerful she is when fighting the enemy.

The characters all maintain their likeability and again the plot thickens with more possibilities of what is actually happening with the plan to join the two worlds. The fight continues and another powerful couple to add to Hades forces. Really looking forward to the next installment in Keras where FINALLY I will know what has happened and is going on with his favourite goddess.

Such an entertaining series! Love reading about each brother finding love! This one starts pretty closely to where the last book left off; I’d recommend reading in order for the best reading experience, since there are overarching storylines throughout the series. The bad guys/ladies are still trying to open the gates to the Underworld, so the daemons can be unleashed on the World. It’s proving quite the difficult task for all the brothers and their ladies to keep the bad guys/ladies from succeeding; lots of fights and action in this one. Exciting and fun!

Passionate romance too! Daimon has ice powers; they’re awesome, but he can’t touch or be touched, so there’s negatives to his power. Sorceress Cass is super attracted to Daimon, but he keeps pushing her away. He has some issues, and she has issues too, so they have some major things to overcome. Cass comes across as too desperate sometimes; I know he actually wants her attention, but I wanted her to realize her worth and make him work for it a bit more. I’m not into the whole I can’t have love scenario, so that gets annoying, but I did enjoy the grumpy banter between Cass and Daimon. They do have a super sweet connection; plus, lots of steam! Both characters were great! I was a bit pissed that Cass was so weak in regards to her coven, but her magic is super cool and she’s a kick butt female! They are both good for the other; they make the other better.

Excited for the next book!! Hopefully Keras and Enyo don’t act like morons for long; it’s already been too long as is! Plus, I’m ready to see those bad guys/ladies taken down!! This one does leave some things still in the works, so you’ll have to read the rest of the series for the full story.

I’m already a big fan of Felicity Heaton’s books. I love her writing style and think her world-building is amazing. The mix of fantasy and reality captures my attention right from the start. I love the characters she creates. They’re never stereotypical good or evil but a complex assortment of positive and negative traits and emotions. It’s this combination and attention to detail that always makes her stories feel more realistic for me.

Daimon was a story worth waiting for!

Let me explain. Daimon has held a special place in my heart from the very first book in this series. Therefore, I’ve been chomping at the bit for him to find a worthy love. I was a bit hesitant at first whether Cass was good enough for him. However, it soon became clear that I'd made some assumptions about her and her personality that were obviously just for show. I enjoyed seeing a different side to both of them and getting under the defences. Cassandra’s a fabulous addition to the female mates!

I loved this paranormal romance adventure. I read Greek myths when I was younger and love that they’re the inspiration for this series. With Felicity’s usual twist, of course.
Daimon was a great read, engaging me from the very first page! It made me smile, cry and feel all hot and bothered (in a good way). I loved the well-written banter, kick-arse fighting, and the romance.

Who would I recommend Daimon to?
Adult readers who enjoy stories about the protective barriers we build around us. Those who want characters with hidden depths and stories exploring the lengths we go for family. And of course, readers who, like me, adore tales about soul-saving love with oodles of passion.

Though Daimon is as cold as ice, this book certainly isn't. In fact, it's hot as hell and the tension between Daimon and Cassandra is off the charts. Daimon is the sixth brother in the Guardians, he hasn't been able to touch a single person since he was banished to earth, not even his own brothers after his powers over ice manifested in fear that he will hurt them. In book five, sorceress Cassandra was thrown into the mix. She protects Mari and they pretty much come as a package deal. Cassandra wants nothing more than to protect her and see if she can thaw the walls that Daimon has thrown up around himself even if she knows it can't last. But he just isn't interested, he is loyal to Penelope, his past love, and won't betray her even now.

While the two fight each other and themselves over their true feelings for each other the battle between good and evil really takes a turn for the worst. The brothers are trying to close their gates, to stop the demons from entering the Underworld and destroying Earth as we know it.

There's so much chemistry between the characters, and as I mentioned previously the tension is off the charts. Once I was pulled into the story I didn't want to put it down and I just kept turning the pages wanting to know more of what would happen between the characters.

Some people may say this story can be read as a standalone but to get a feel for all the characters and the amazing world that the author has written I'd definitely suggest reading all the previous books before this one. There is now one brother left to have his story told, Keras and he will be the star character in the next book, I can't wait!

Visit my blog for more reviews: Sportochick's Musings

This storyline was so full of traumatic action-packed happenings that I couldn't put the book down. I had to know if the sons of Hades would win their battle with evil.

Can you imagine never being able to touch or hold someone without hurting them? That explains Daimon's life. I have observed him throughout the other 5 books and wondered how he would find someone he could have a relationship with. In the authors truly gifted writing style she created a way for this to happen.

In book 5 the reader starts to watch Daimon and Cassandra walk and run circles around each other at their growing attraction. In this book 6, the reader will feel their intense heartbreaking struggles to find emotional balance, their growing attraction, how to be together and not hurt each other.

Daimon seems ready to give up and I wonder if Cassandra wasn't so persistent in her attraction to him if he would've wanted to survive his existence. But you will need to read the book to see how that part turns out.

Each brother and their women are in this book making for an exciting character list. But seriously after every book I read I keep wondering if Kera, the firstborn of Hades, is going to implode and am really looking forward to his book coming out later this year.

Received an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review.

This was a wonderful addition to the series
Daimon is suffering from a frozen heart as his body is caged by ice and now that the sorceress that came into his life like a whirlwind everything has changed, she has made herself one of the team and is ready to battle against the daemon uprising.
He feels an almost insatiable need for her but he fights himself so that he can maintain his edge however it is not at all easy. Cassandra has a sword over her head and a duty that she has put on the back burner for such a long time that now thingas are coming to a head she has to decide what is best for her.
She is determined to help save the world if at all possible
Daimon is ice. His heart is frozen by it. His body caged by it. And he likes it that way. But the sexy sorceress that storms into his life and declares herself a part of his team in his battle against the daemon uprising is determined to melt the ice that has shielded him for centuries, and he’s powerless to stop the burning need she ignites in him.

Even when he’s sure it’s only a game to her.
She is attracted to him but keeps on pretending it is nothing more that a phase, how wrong may she actually be.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

Oh, Daimon. The dude is not in a good place. His manifestation of power leaves him unable to touch anyone and he's a hot mess emotionally. Esher's disappearance into the Underworld just adds another burden onto the already heaping pile he's carrying around. Throw in some serious demon activity and a couple furies with chaos on their minds and things get a little hairy.

Like I said, he is NOT in a good place.

And Cass messes with his head. Big time. She pushes when others back off. She pokes and prods and makes him feel things and he's...well, he's not okay with it, but he's also not NOT okay with it. He's more angry at himself for feeling anything toward her than anything else.

Which makes for some SPARKS when these two butt heads. Sparks and ice floes and some serious steam.

The good news is when Daimon decides to go in, he goes ALL in. He's 100% behind Cass and will support her in every way he can. Even if it entails making some big decisions that will affect her life going forward. (Really, though, what did you expect when a witch hooks up with a mostly-god? THINGS HAPPEN, people. Things happen.)

Steamy kisses, a little mayhem, battles, gods, and an unexpected hint of hope that things might be less dire than (on one front) than the brothers thought. GOOD STUFF!

Melting the Ice man

I feel like I just caught an epic battle! So much happens in this book, it's a high octane read for sure!! The 6th book in thus series and things are definitely heating up for the big finale. We find out at least one big player in the quest to take down Hades. You also get some insight into Keres and Enyo which is great build up for the final book.

Daimon is the "Ice man" that is where his power lies. Since being exiled to Earth he has been unable to have human contact. Hundreds of years of no touch has been hell, it's a lonely existence. He has watched all but one of his brothers find love and while he is happy for them, he hungers for what they have.

Cass has been on her own her whole life, growing up in her coven was like growing up in a group home or orphanage. She has never met her parents. It is tradition and duty for every woman in her coven to have a child then give that child to the coven. It's something Cass has put off for a long time and her coven is losing patience.

Daimon and Cass have a very volatile relationship, both attracted to one another but trying to ignore it for different reasons. The build to these two getting together is great!

Back to the Guardians of Hades series. It's about all about Hades sons that are living in the mortal world protecting everyone. This book focuses on Daimon and Cass. Daimon is hot for an icy man! Cass is a wicked witch in the best way!

Daimon is 'blessed' with ice which means he isn't able to touch others. His rather frozen all through though. He certainly seems to dislike Cass.

Cass at first seems that she doesn't like Daimon but then she seems to throw herself at him, needing to get the physical attraction out the way, but he certainly doesn't make it easy. I think she did well not to tell him to do one after him being so frosty and after so much rejection!

Along with the obvious romance, the battle between demons and the guardians continues and there's a lot of blood about, mainly the baddies though!

I enjoyed Cass and Daimon's connection when they gave in. They both have a history and demands on them so finding time to bond isn't the easiest but is great to read about.

There is a lot going on and ideally, you would have read the previous books in the series.

I enjoyed reading Daimons book, especially when he defrosted a bit!

I love this series. It has characters from Greek mythology, mystery, and romance.

This is the sixth book in the Guardians of Hades series. About a group of brothers that are sent to Earth to guard the Gates to the Hell Realm. This book is about Daimon, the brother that is cold as Ice, just like his powers, but they are so wrong. Daimon has a lot of heart and fire under that icy exterior. It takes a sassy as hell sorceress to bring it out. I love Cassandra or Cassie as everyone calls her. She is the same as Daimon, everyone thinks she is a hard a**, with a saucy attitude. But they could not be more wrong about her too. I love the way that Cassie brings out the soft side of Daimon and the same with Daimon bringing it out in Cassie. (By the way I want my own Mr. Milos, Ms. Felicity!) I also like the fact of learning more about who their enemy finally is. Can’t wait to see what Keras and the brothers will do in the next installment of this series.

I loved this story. And I can’t wait for the next book in the series. I would definitely recommend this book and all the books in this series to friends and family and have already.

Daimon: brother #6

What a ride! So if you have been following the series in order then you are aware of the seven sons of Hades, the Underworld gatekeepers and their dilemma of keeping both the Underworld and our world safe and separate. You also are aware of the women who have captured their hearts. I love how each woman compliments their man. Each story is written so well you feel a part of the action and adventure. We are introduced to the sassy independant witch Cass as Mari's guardian and long time family friend in Calistos's book. Daimon's story continues the brothers battle to locate their sister's soul while doing their duty while fighting the unknown enemy. Plot twist and action. Plus there are several sentimental moments that have you gushing and ah'ing. Wonderful story. Cannot wait to read the final book in the series about the eldest son Keras. He has been the one to watch as he seems to be a ticking bomb. So intriguing!

This series is amazingly entertaining. It follows a group of brothers as each of them finds their own HEA. The storylines are well plotted, the characters are complex, the dialogue is well written and the story has all the elements necessary to make it the perfect, action-packed, sexy paranormal romance. The author has done a phenomenal job once again of bringing to life a story that grabs the reader right off the bat and hangs onto their attention until the very end. Well done to the author. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book.

Side note ~ While each book is this series can be read as a stand alone, due to overlapping storylines and for the best reading experience, I suggest reading them in order.

Daimon has just become my favorite. I'm thinking I like his story the best. While they are still struggling to fight to save the world and Daimon is deeply missing the brother with whom he shares the strongest bond, there is Cass. Cass has her own struggles but as Mari's protector she is fierce. Daimon and Cass go through some emotional trials and try to navigate a basic friendship, but they are truly so much more. I loved their story and all the interaction with the rest of the brothers and their mates. The story has action and a slow burn romance that explodes into some serious heat. I definitely recommend reading this book, but suggest starting in the beginning of the series if you want to know the story behind the other brothers.

Dear Felicity,
I loved Daimon from the first book and was annoyed to wait till 6th book.
So much suffer, not to be able to touch, I don't get how he can be so sane in the end.
The book is fun, I wished more fun stuff between him and Cass like it was when they went in Tokyo and through her in the pond, but is ok.
A book full of action and hurt, and I wait for Keras book - I hope you can bring it at the same level since the books got better and better and expectations are set at a higher level.
Daimon is so sweet, I wasn't expecting that from Frosty. I think I might read the books again sooner than expected because I loved the books - with some minus for some of them, but per total the books are really good.
Thanks,
Rox

Holy buckets Batman, this story is an enigma within a mystery and wrapped in a puzzle. Who is behind the aggression of the demons? Which being believes that they are superior to the gods? And how will they create the opportunity to destroy that which has been set in place. Daimon's cold heart and icy attitude is well established. But this only presents a challenge to Cassandra. Can her magic withstand the obstacle his power presents? Will she convince him of her sincerity and trustworthiness? Will he release the past to explore what the future may hold? The second to last story in the series (Keras will be released next) and the drama just continues to ramp up.

Such an amazing series that’s centered on a supernatural world that the author totally brings to life and in your face techno color. Felicity creates unique and captivating story with a continuing story arc that she manages to keep the story hot, steamy and excitingly fresh. This book features another brother tortured by his powers, but yearning for something he believes is unattainable. Cass has work cut out for her, but she is definitely up for the task. You will love this story as well as the book preceding it. Start from the beginning to get a better sense of what’s actually happening and what they are fighting for.

How does Ms Heaton do it? These stories get better and better! These brother's can be real nasty A-holes and just plain mean...except to their women! Each brother except for Daimon and Keras have found their mates...but now Daimon has found someone, actually a witch, that he can touch and not hurt/freeze! The first time in ages he can feel the touch of a woman! Cass is a witch and can do a spell that can stop the ice from hurting her! She comes with some problems but hopefully they can work around them. Can she melt his heart? He's not making it easy on her!! I love these sons of Hades and their women! Can't wait for the next brother's story!

So worth the wait

Loved Daimon’s story, a brilliant addition to the series.
Daimon is so full of hurt and anger that he is constantly pushing help away.
With Esher still on the hunt for the wraith and the annoying witch following him everywhere, he is about to lose it.
Cass. She is drawn to Daimon with a force so powerful she cannot stop even when he is adamant he wants to be alone. She is a strong witch. She will not leave Mari so the brothers are stuck with her. She also has duties to fulfill that will take her away.
Can she melt his ice clad heart?
Such a fantastic read. Loved it

This is a complex and intensely emotional story. Daimon is fighting his attraction to Cass, and she is fighting everyone. Cass has to go back to her coven to do her duty, Daimon is broken and hurting, Cass is moody and mean. They are both fighters against the daemons trying to invade the world. They eventually realised their love was real, but that didn’t make anything easier for them. There is so much action and drama in this story, it was engrossing and impossible to put down. If you enjoy paranormal horror and action mixed in with your romance, this story has it all.

Book 6 continues where Book 5 ended.
Daimon holds the power of Ice. in his blood, in his hands, and in his heart. He mourns for Penelope and his unborn child from centuries ago.
In comes Cassandra a fiery witch who feels the need to help him and his brothers in guarding the Gates.
Daimon does not trust the witch or the feelings that are stirring inside him. She must work to gain his trust as well as all his brothers.
Great addition to this series. Can't wait for the next book coming soon.

Of all the books in this series so far, this one is now my favorite. Daimon's power with ice means that he cannot touch anyone, which also affects his mental health as he feels set apart from his family. Then along comes the feisty witch Cass, who can cast a spell that protects her from his icy touch.
I loved the combination of the sensitive Daimon and the strong-willed Cass. This is a well-written, fast-paced story that will not disappoint.
