A foul ball…

This book was like watching a baseball player hit a foul ball. You can tell he sees the pitch coming but he just can’t catch up to it.

The good:
- Recognizing America as being under judgement and reaping what she has sown for her sins. Yes absolutely!
- Lifting up racism, particularly ongoing racism against black Americans as a reason for God’s judgement. Right on!
- Naming abortion as a reason for God’s judgment. Completely.

The Bad:
- Constant parroting of old evangelical lines
- Never mentioning atrocities against Native Americans or other ethnic groups
- Choosing to call out liberalism but turning a blind eye to fundamentalism
- Singling out LGBTQ people as a source of judgement with no examination of prominent biblical catalysts for national judgment

The ugly
- The idea that the founding fathers made a covenant with God on behalf of the nation.
- no mention of greed, violence, the poor, prisoners, orphans, or immigrants.

His theology doesn’t allow him to think about the in-breaking of the Kingdom and it’s implications in the world.

Amazing

My wife and I are major RT fans. I am thrilled to have experienced his latest message about faith and the opportunities in America to start the next awakening. His message is just what’s needed by millions of ordinary lovers of God to move forward through the craziness of COVID, racism, abortion, and other demonic actions designed to take our lives away from Christ. RT points us back to Christ. The next step is to be uncomfortable by forgiving the unforgivable experience, to move past bitterness, and to inherit the rich blessing the Lord has in mind for us. A spiritual blessing awaits for those with courage.

From RT’s conclusion:

LORD, I have heard the report of you, and your work, O LORD, do I fear. In the midst of the years revive it; in the mist of the years make it known; in wrath remember mercy. —HABAKKUK 3:2

An exceptional little book. This one had been written very, very quickly in 2020 to help Christians navigate the pandemic and other issues. Despite the book having been written and published within months ( the author had been askd by the publisher to write this book to fill a, urgent need), the writing is of great quality. Yes, the book may now seem a bit dated with its references to the then ongoing pandemic, but it addresses some timeless Biblical truths.

Excellent read and teaching from God's Word

Definitely an eye opener for these times. Highly recommend this book to all who claim to be Christians. The teaching from the Bible and message conveyed in this book is one that needs to be listened to, and never more so than now! Glad I bought it.

R T is a gifted and anointed Christian figure for us. This book boldly but not categorically, points us to be prepared for end time events without any particular time-line. Preparedness is an obvious position because we are in times not traveled as before.
