Lingering Sins

Rate this book
"What about sins?" she asked me softly, her voice barely above a whisper. "What is your theory about them?"

"Sins are dangerous," I said, leaning in to caress her cheek. "They may be forgiven. They may be forgotten. But they always linger."

▁▁▁▁▁

Who is more dangerous than a powerful man? A man striving to regain his lost power.

Who is more desperate than a slave? A slave on the run from her captor.

Who is more greedy than a man in lust? A man with blood lust.

When three worlds collide, each drastically different than the other, you have to be ready for the terrible consequences. With Arsen Sanders struggling to find power, Luna Rivera running from her past and Vincenzo Mortelli tasting defeat for the first time in his life, things are only about to turn worse.

The question is, who deserves what they would be getting?

Whose sins would weigh out the others?

Whose will be forgiven? Whose will be forgotten?

Whose sins would linger until the end?

This is the most heart wrenching, sob-inducing book I have read and Yes. I AM including all the John Green , Jennifer Niven and Rainbow Rowell and Khaled Hosseini ones in that list too. The emotions that ceased my heart while reading this amazing book literally broke me and even after all this time, I still think about it and cry. I am so so glad that I found it and even after so many times when I thought I couldn't continue anymore, I did and completed it. It is a beautiful piece throughout and I would definitely recommend it to everyone out there looking for a good story.

First of all, thank you for such a great book. Thank u for sharing it. I wouldn't have found my favourite character if it weren't for this book. I'm not talking about Arsen though. Vincenzo is my favourite tbh I don't know why but I feel too much for him. This is a great book. So many raw emotions and all. I'll be waiting for a physical copy hoping it comes soon.

I found this on Wattpad and I'm so glad I did it. I read Talking Bodies and immediately jump off to read this one. I really enjoyed the first one but this characters and plot were too much. It is so well written and the emotions and situations are so complex, I was devasted at so many points of this book. It was definitely a difficult book to read for me but I'm so happy I did it. I was sobbing most of the time, but it was really worth it. Give this story a chance and check the trigger warnings first because there is some really serious shit happening here. I wish this books were published on physical

I definitely would start by saying that please do consider the trigger warnings beforehand, just so you know if you will be able to read it.
Though it's another mafia romance, somehow this feels different.
This is the kinda story that leaves a mark on you, a mark that will shake you to your very bones.
I felt mentally and physically drained by the end of reading it. But even still I loved it immensely.
This is one of those books that shows the pov of a villain or a supposed villain and I think that is what made it special.
Hero-villian are just labels, after all, what matters is who the person is from within.

This is not a happy book. Somehow the more I read, the more my heart broke. I felt every emotion and I would be so mad but the ending made up for it. This story took me on a roller coaster I never expected but will not forget.
