एका ॲक्टरने त्याचा मांडलेला अनोखा प्रवास. सुबोधच्या ४ महत्वाच्या कॅरेक्टर्सचा हे पुस्तक आढावा घेतं. काही काही क्षुल्लक चुका सोडल्या तर बाकी पुस्तक खूपच छान झालंय. नाटकाचे किस्से, मूव्हीज् च्या सीन्स आणि डीरेक्शन विषयी खूप सुंदर माहिती सुबोध भावे ने दिली आहे. ते ते चॅप्टर्स वाचताना ते प्रसंग बघितले तर अजून मजा येते. ह्याची पुढची आवृत्तीही यावी आणि त्यात ‘लोकमान्य’ विषयी जास्त माहीती आणि नव्याने आलेल्या मूव्हीचा काशिनाथ घाणेकरांचा चॅप्टर आला तर अजून मजा येईल.

पुस्तकांची किमया काय असते हे सुबोध भावे यांनी त्यांच्या पुस्ताकतुन मांडण्याचा प्रयत्न केला आहे मग ते न कळत बालगंधर्वांच किंवा लोकमान्यांचं पुस्तक त्यांची हातत येणे आणि त्यातून सुरु होणारा चित्रपट निर्मितीचा प्रवास, पडद्या मागची धावपळ आणि गंमती, कट्यार ची गोष्ट किंवा वयक्तिक जीवन हे सर्व पुस्तकी रूपात ते सांगतात.

३ गोष्टी सुबोध भावे यांच्या घेई छंद पुस्तकातून आपण शिकू शकतो :

१. नेहमी रिस्क घ्या.
२. स्वतःला ओळखण्यासाठी माणूस सतत विचार करत असतो.
३. विषय आणि मांडणी उत्तम असेल तर ते नाटक असू दे किंवा जीवन सगळ्या प्रेक्षकांना सारखंच आवडत.

It was fascinating to read the journey of creativity from 'Katyar...' as a play to 'Katyar...' as a motion picture. Loved reading about the processes that go into staging plays as well as creating films. Such a great teamwork and immense efforts by names that on screen we just see roll by when the credits appear. Author's dedication, commitment, perfectionism and the studious outlook with which he executes all his projects is commendable. This book is an inspiration and a reading experience worth learning from for all artistic minds with a vision.

An amazing book for 'Katyar........' lovers, You can feel the journey and each moment of the movie through this book. Other movies of Subodh also wonderful and you can feel the same in the book. Subodh is a wonderful actor.......Just amazing book of amazing journey.
