The continuation of the epic LitRPG fantasy saga...
The Game grows complex as more factions reveal their interest in the free agent. Surprised at every turn by unexpected encounters, allies, and foes, Kyran struggles to hold to his carefully laid plans.
How will Kyran navigate the murky waters of the Game? Who can he trust?
Join Kyran and his party in their adventures as he tries to hold true to himself, find his purpose, and advance his growth as a player.
The odds are ever shrinking and the stakes are increasing! This story is amazing! Our hero's are still being hunted and he still goes out of his way to be the good guy. In doing so he makes new friends but decreases his chances of winning the game. I feel like with each book things get increasingly more exciting with little pause for our hero's which makes for an excellent read. One thing that annoys me is the amount of time they are saved by Deus ex machina but given the world he is in where other champions can litterally call upon there god to save them it makes sense.
This one really grabbed and held me. Read the whole thing in one sitting. Excellent job in pulling all the plot lines together for an epic set up for the next book. Incredibly well done subtle slow burn on the building romance that I think anyone reading the series has seen coming since book 2 at least. More believable this way, drawing it out. On a side note, I've been picturing Kyran as an elvish looking Jon Snow, as it seems his exact mental make up. A disservice to this character, but I can't help it. I jumped up at one point to yell," King of the North" at 5am, waking the dogs and the household. My bad.
The ONLY complaint I have withe the book is the repetition of "its the only way" or "there isn't another option." Happens just enough that as soon as you notice the rinse and repeat of this then it stops.
Other than that, NOTHING but good story telling. Can't wait for March to roll around for the next book. I guess it is a new kind of March madness.
AHHHHHHHHh NO i need more NOW!!!! This was so good. The story is progressing and is just as interesting as it has been for the last 2 books if not more so and the world is expanding with the introduction of new characters and exploration of more of Crotana. Kyran is still an excellent main character and i love seeing him and his group grow and florish throughout this story.
I am so excited for the next book! this has been the best book so far and i can't wait to see where it goes. 9.5/10
4th book in the series and so far the best! Each book has shown growth in both character, relationships and knowledge. This makes the 4th book a great instalment as there is still most of the land to explore as well as his and his vessels skill set, not to mention Kylan and Merials future together ❤
pre booked for March! Plus waiting on the next Dragon mage book 🤔
I just finished all 5 books in the first arc of this series and I absolutely loved them all, lots of excitement and many interesting characters. I found the many battles to be interesting and the use of the characters spells and abilities well used. I also loved the involvement of many wild beasts in the story as well as many non-human characters. Very well written Rohan M. Vider, thank you for many hours of entertainment and I look forward to reading the second arc to this series!
This is an excellent continuation of the Stuart. It’s another traveling adventure type of book very heavy on rpg power aspects. It doesn’t kind of feel like running from one problem to the next but eventually ties all together to make sense. The ending is especially satisfying and makes one excited for the next
It’s a good story but omg for the love of Pete you could have an entire books worth of space you used with the filler you put in. We don't need all the dam stat info you keep wasting in all the books. You have dragged the story and put in filler .. I hope you don’t leave any plot holes.
Great writing! Gripping! Fun and exciting! Good use of RPG elements, this should be made into a game, there would be amazing possiblities! And the Grand game! And dragon mage, 3 separate games as each series has unique game traits. Can't put it down! More, more, more!
I really really liked this book. It has great story with a great hero. That has been slowly growing into king and a champion for good. It also has great action and adventure.
The book is also clean. I can't wait for the next book in the series.
The first couple of chapters were a little bit slow. But after that the book got real interesting really quickly. I will definitely be getting the next book in the series
I never thought I would like the kind of story where each stage is exquisitely explored but I am loving this series. Kyran enters the Elderly forest and more secrets are revealed.
It’s what would happen if Tolkien wrote a final fantasy plot. Rohan has a way with words, worlds and emotions that just draws you in and wanting more. I cannot wait until March 2021 to see what happens next.
The story is progressing well, and the character sheets feel like they've been turned down a notch. They're mostly just at the end of each chapter this time around, which is much better.
I enjoyed how it's going so far, and I hope we get some more!
I liked it, but ended up skimming a lot of it towards the end when it got dull. The constant notifications on the characters and what they’re doing was annoying, but the story is intriguing. I want to know what will happen, especially with Eld.
This book spurs great events into action once more. If book 3 was the snowball at the top of the mountain this is the first signs of the avalanche that follows. Excited to read more.
Ronan has written a superb series with " The God's Game " . I have read the first four novels with great enjoyment . Now I begin the next chapter . I would truly hope to see our heroes return . Thanks for making it a great journey .
Kyran continues to grow and amaze his companions. All the other gritty characters move on with him. Many mysteries are revealed and New ones replace them as Cider continues with his story.
I like the series but i was no big fan of this book either. It was a bit better than the last but rather dull. I could not get myself invested in the story in this book and ended up skimming quite a bit
I was hard pressed to put the book down after I started reading. Each turn of the page Feud my imagination and desire to see the events in the book unfurl.
The God's Game series just keeps getting better. The action, the growth, the stats all amazing. Add that to some truly beautiful moments, and you have a great story.
