Hailing from St. Louis, Missouri, Keisha Ervin is a prolific writer and devoted mother. Her success has drawn much deserved attention to herself and her hometown. She is the author of the National Best-Sellers Chyna Black, Me & My Boyfriend, Mina's Joint and Hold U Down, as well as the novel Torn and the short story After the Storm, featured in the Street Love anthology.
Oh! I just want to sum up this entire series. With D.R.E.A.M. the only book of Keisha’s that I’ve read before this series, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I am thoroughly impressed and so very satisfied with this story. This book gave me all of the emotion. I laughed, cried, I was angry, I was happy, I was disappointed. I was spiritually motivated. This book encompassed everything. Keisha left nothing... not one crumb on the table in as a new author I’m so inspired.
I truly enjoyed this whole series. I was hurt by Gunz betrayal in the beginning, because I truly loved how they had finally gotten it together and was able to be with each other.
I was heart broken when I came back to find out that he was back to his old ways and couldn’t get his shit together. I think I was like the kids in the beginning not wanting them to fail, and couldn’t except the relationship between Cam and Grey. I was even more shocked by there sporadic move to get married.
Once I got to truly see who Gunz was and his evil ways I understood more clearly. I started to open up to her and Cam’s relationship. Cam turned out to be an amazing man, husband, father, friend and brother in the end. Him and Grey really love one another unconditionally. They went through hell and high waters but it all only made them stronger and their love for each other only grow deeper.
I do believe that Cam and Gunz were more a like than they would like to admit. When it came to women and the game they both played it the same way. They both were broken, misunderstood, controlling, selfish men. That didn’t truly know how to love, because they lacked love has children. They both wanted they cake and eat it too. They both didn’t want their ex, but didn’t want them with anyone else and still wanted to have access whenever they felt like having it. Neither one of them never came across or had a woman as independent, caring, smart, sexy, uplifting, but ground standing and respect demanding as Grey.
Grey gave both men every thing that they lacked and lost in their lives. She help build them into strong kings. That alone drove them insane. It was something that they both had to learn how to love and appreciate, but for Gunz it just came to late. So instead of excepting the fact that he was the reason of their demise. He decided to play the blame hate game, and in the end he lost it all.
Now I’m on the edge of my seat waiting on their kids story. I know it’s going to be good. I just hope I don’t have to wait forever for their stories to be released.
Cam & Gray and all them kids... LAWD'A'MERCY! These two books were drama personified. But in the end, they finally got the wedding of their dreams and their story ended in a good place, with the exception of Tee-Tee's tragedy which made me SO sad. I was glad that Cam finally handled Lala and Gunz in a way that was fitting their triflin selves and satisfied the bad girl in me. Those kids, specifically Aoki continued to press every limit and found herself with a very grownup consequence. I hate that the decisions of so many of those children impacted so many lives and had such grownup ramifications. Press finally found her voice and I love that Keisha didn't grow her up too fast. Those triplets continued to give much comedic relief and had me laughing out loud multiple times and Gray finally got to whup Devin the way she deserved. The only thing missing from this book in my opinion, was that Kema and Quan didn't get a wedding Do Over since their BIG day was ruined. Also if I am not mistaken, one of the earlier books alluded to Kingston being the love child of Cam Sr, so when the script was flipped to someone else being the long lost brother, I was confused. Lastly the constant name dropping of clothing labels and the repetitive character descriptions was TOO MUCH book after book and became just page fillers with little substance. Keisha is starting to write like Ashley Antoinette and that writing style of dragging books out way longer than necessary is WACK AF and loses me as a customer every time.
Love the characters and the realism. As much as we would love a perfect ending, it does not always occur. I would like another emphasizing Paris and Aoki, or Psalm and Stacy or even Meechi and Paris cousin. Overall, loved all 5 books! Keisha is a beast and I Love all of her books! Need to know how Aoki and Paris turn out. And we need to see Press become drop dead gorgeous. And my favorite character, Stacy. I definitely want to read more about him and his search for love. And let's not forget Priest; a little more about him would be great! You introduced us to a lot of characters, don't leave us hanging! I truly love your books. I originally had all the books on paperback and now I have the all in my kindle. Thanks for the great stories!!!!!
Love the books. If you have a sense of humor and realize Love isn't all it used to be, you can't but love her books. Plus she's as rea
I don't think I've cried so much in a book series before. You have the purest talent making your characters leap off the pages; envisioning every detail on page. I appreciate the dedication and research you poured into this book. Cam & Gray finally found peace. After 5 years of turmoil, finally they get to accept love. I was oddly satisfied reading what happened to the foes in this story. Refreshened by Psalm David; brokenhearted and championed by Aoki; captivated with Press's resilience. Them some bad ass kids 😆😆. Not a moment was over spent in reading the final book. Can't wait to see what is in store for these babies tales.
I love the complete story of Cam and Gray; this series takes us on so many ups and downs with them but in the end it is worth it. I’m glad that their story is complete, and we can move on. I like the development of their children’s story however Aoki’s character is way to young to be experiencing the things that she is experiencing. I was sad to read about some of her situations, she is way to young to be in the situations she is in at her age. Her and Paris’s relationship should have waited until she was older, in real life he would be in jail for his involvements with her. It just saddens me. I want to read more but I need some growth from the author within her books.
🔥🔥🔥 This book, this series was superb. I loved it. I was authentic the read the plights of teenagers, the issues and insecurities of marriages and the challenges of friendships (Gray and Tee Tee & Aoki and Princess). Ms. Ervin touch on some real topics and in some instances parts were descriptive and hard to read (La La & Gunz). But that’s the game. I love the storyline and the ending of the series. I pray we get a series for Aoki and Press. Will Cam formally adopt Press? Will Paris get a new trail? Will Paris and Aoki reconnect?
Great job. I look forward to reading all of your books. What a great gift you have.
Book 2 hit me like a train! I’ve just finished and I must say. Kudos to a job well done!I am excited to see how little Miss Aoki’s story turns out. Needless to say you had me in my house screaming at these plot twist. You think you know, but you really have no idea. Where this story will take you. I have so many questions? And while I am happy for Gray and Cam. Little Ms Aoki and Paris stole the show. With that being said I look forward to the next installment. No matter how long I have to wait. I know it will be worth it.
First off, I think it’s amazing how the author dropped two full length novels to end our Cam and Gray ride. I see so much growth in the characters from book 1 to 5. In Mine we get to see more of them living and loving and parenting together without the “entanglements” 😂. I felt sorry for Aoki and Press because they have seen so much. Cam and Gray went through so much the kids kind of suffered. It was nice to see therapy and God woven into their lives. Great series!
This was a great conclusion to Gray and Cam’s story. It ended on a high note but all of the valleys we endured on the way to the end was enough to take us out. I had to stop reading this book at LEAST 3 times. Keisha would hit us with something out the blue that it literally knocked the wind out of you. Get ready for your heart to beat erratically and then for it shatter into pieces and then be put back together again. Well done! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Oh how I hate it ended. What A story. I love your work. I'm so glad I came across your book in Audible. Now I can't get enough. This series is really really good. I'm all out of order. But as long as I read them I'm good. So glad that Gray and Cam finally got their happy everlasting ending. I'm A sucker for love. What A great read! Now I'm off for another adventure from Ms Keisha Ervin. I know I'm not going to be disappointed.
Kiesha you did your thing I am so proud of you. This book had me on an emotional roller coaster. I will miss Cam and Gray's love story. However, I am ready to read the next generation love story. Job well done I will not spoil the surprise and tell y'all what this book is about. Just know it is a must-read.
Another banger Ms.Ervin. Love that Cam & Gray finally got their happy ending. However you did take me on a emotional ride, from losing Princess Gaga and Aoki becoming a women and growing up right before my eyes. Can't wait to see what's in store for the new generation. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.💞
Why why Aoki!!! I was rooting for her to stay that teen who didn’t fall into the statistic!! Lots of surprises in this book and I was still on the emotional rollercoaster! I’ve developed an deeper love for Cam & Gray! I’m so glad they got their happily ever after! However I know there’s more to come once the kids grow up and i can’t wait!!
Not only does Keisha inspire me to read more, expand my vocabulary excessively, but try my hand at writing—her pen game is unmatched. I loved everything about this story. All of her stories, hell. The wordplay of each book is precise. When she said months ago, we cannot rush perfection, she meant that shit.
I really enjoyed this entire series. I wish we could get more of Stacy and Salecia OR Psalm😏. I would enjoy an update on Priest too. Hopefully, are getting a Aoki and Paris update, with a little Press thrown in. Over all, I enjoyed reading about Cam & Grey.
This series was one of the best series from Keisha for me. Keisha did an amazing job. I love Cam and Gray’s relationship, It was great to see them go from Hood to Holy Hood lol. I just wished that the out come was different for Paris. On to the next book!
Keisha Ervin has done it again. The Beyoncé of authors. I say it after read and I’ll continue to say she never cease to amaze with her books. Never disappointed with her content only that it’s ends. She is everything.
I read both books in 2 1\2 days! The Gray and Cam story will always be my favorite! At times both books stressed me out but couldn't stop myself from reading! Spectacular job!
I loved this book. The enchanting love story of two beautiful people fighting for love and family was entertaining and mesmerizing to say the least. I am thankful for this series!!!!
I love this entire series. It went there and I didn't expect it to. It was sad that Princess died and Paris was the one that killed her. I can't wait to see what becomes of him and Aoki.
Ms. Keisha you have a gift. I laughed and cried thur this series. I’m glad Gray and Cam made it back to one another!! Very good book. Looking for more in the future regarding the kids!!!

The end has been bittersweet. I’m glad Cam and Gray finally got their stuff together. I’m sad to see them go and hope we get Aoki and Paris story next. Great job with this emotional roller coaster. I laughed, cried, and was overjoyed with the ending!
From the first book I read (Gunz & Roses) I was hooked! Gray and Cam stole my heart and took it on a roller-coaster ride...tears, belly laughs (laughing till I nearly peed myself) and anger kept me glued to each page! You have got to read them all!!!
I truly loved this book better yet this entire series!!! They had a beautiful hood love story. I just know we about to get more of Aoki and Paris and King and Press. Please please please
I’m so glad for the happy ending through all the twists and turns it was good to see love won. I don’t even want to read the next series because I like ending it on a good note. Truly a great series and must read.
As if You're wasn't enough. Mine is sealed the deal. Is was a beautiful ending to Cam and Gray 's story coupled with seeds for the upcoming story on the kids.
