I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced copy of this book.
Lucy is in town running some errands while her parents are away, she driving home when a car slams into her. She’s about to be kidnapped until the mysterious man saves her only to demand she has a debt to pay for his help and that’s Lucy and what exactly does he want from her ?
Bryce lost the love of his life when his wife was killed in a car accident, that was the day he gave up on love. That is until he sees Lucy, she is everything he decides to give up on, a spoiled rich daddy’s girl but he wants her immediately. Bryce sees the man following her and decides he has to protect her, foiling the kidnappers plans. He wants more time with her so demands her to pay the debt and takes her to his house. But can Bryce learn to love again after losing everything once is he prepared to risk it all again?
As always a fantastic Jenna Rose book. Although this book felt a little gappy and insinuated plot points that are never explained. 4* Read.

This was another quick read by Jenna.

One trust fund baby h and one blue-collar H. Met, collided, and bang! the romance was in the air. The story was short and straight to the point.
I didn't really get the gist of this whirlwind romance; couldn't feel the chemistry and spark between the MCs. I didn't get the "why" their relationship happened or how it would work between them.

She has two kidnappings in one day
Ruler is the first book in the Relentless Alphas series and is the very unconventional story of Bryce and Lucy. It is an OTT, insta-lust/love/something, older man/younger woman story with some kidnapping, working off a debt, and then some.
Lucy is a spoiled young woman who's father is wealthy and ensure that she does not want for anything. He has also made it so she does not work or have any life skills really.
Bryce grew up on the wrong side of town without any money but he has made a comfortable life for himself. He does have a very big secret that he does not disclose until very late in the story.
One day as Bryce is riding his motorcycle in town he notices the beautiful and oblivious Lucy and the man and car that are following her. As she goes about her shopping and things the man follows her and Bryce follows them both, as he knows the man is up to do good. As Lucy is driving home up to the top of the ridge the car following her rams her car and spins her into a ditch. The man jumps out and tries to kidnap her. Lucky for her Bryce is still following them both and stops the man, beating him but not calling the cops. Instead he threatens him and the man runs away. Bryce then checks on Lucy and when she comes to, as it seems she whacked her forehead on the steering wheel, he throws her over his shoulder and takes her to his house. He has plans for her in the form of making her work off her debt to him..........not the naughty stuff but the cleaning house kind of work for a week.
But will he be able to just admire and not touch her all that time? Will she continue to fight him and try to escape or will she stay and clean his house? Can she even clean a house?
This is a short, fast-paced and different type of story by Jenna Rose. It started out one way, then taking some strange turns in the story-line that I would have not expected. I was not sure if I really liked the story or not as I was reading it but I stayed until the ending and then read the Epilogue. I liked both Bryce, a bad boy with a true heart of gold even if he did kidnap her for himself, and Lucy, a fumbling young woman who finds herself in a strange situation and feeling all sorts of strange things at the same time. Overall I did enjoy the story but am still not sure about a few things in it.

It was my first time reading a book by Jenna Rose.
I’ve so many doubts! This is a short story, but it’s so over the top and unrealistic that I’d a hard time connecting with it and the characters.
Where should I start? Maybe with the fact that the girl was turned on by a guy she never met, that kidnapped her (and I’m using kidnapping very loosely) and brought her to his house to scrub the floors...
The hero was kinda of asshole, that had mood swings faster that I could keep on.
But what annoyed me the most, was that she was like 18, had no job, no future perspective and that after that slept together once, she decide to move in with him and he was fine with it! What is she going to do? Get a job? Go to college on her parents money? What?
If this had been the prequel to a full novel, I’d had been interested and even a little excited to read the rest of the story, but as is, it was a disappointment

Who is Ariel Winters?
That is what I want to know. Ruler started out with Bryce and Lucy Winters--a clueless, innocent heiress, and ends with Ariel Winters in the epilogue. The story, while classic Jenna Rose in the fact that it is short and has a HEA at the end, was a bit confusing this time. I have seen this happen in some of her work, and that is the only thing that bugs me, honestly. Otherwise, Jenna Rose does come up with some lovable stories, ones that keep me looking forward to reading her work.

Another great little read from Jenna, very insta-love, very steamy and dark romance-adjacent.
When Bryce saves the day and rescues the heroine from a stalker, he decides to kidnap her himself and make her work off her debt to him by cleaning his house. Keeping his hands off of her, however, may take more self-control than he is capable of.
This romance isn’t dark, author it skirts the edge with a hero who kidnaps the heroine. There’s no abuse and all smexy times are consensual. No cheating. Hero was married previously, heroine’s virginity is claimed by the hero. There’s an HEA and bonus epilogue available.

An older man/younger woman quick romance. Bryce has had his eye on Lucy for a while. When he saves her from a kidnapping it’s the opportunity he needs to spend some time with the heiress. It’s insta-lust for the sheltered and naive Lucy who’s going to learn a thing or two in the next few days with alpha Bryce. “Ruler” is a rough around the edges romance with some sentimental moments, good plot, a fantasy with heat and a HEA.

While the ultimate outcome of this short story was more or less a foregone conclusion, the way the author went about achieving it was unexpected and certainly had me turning the pages.
When I initially began reading, I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy this. But the characters (especially Bryce) grew on me and I can't deny the heat and chemistry in the story. Well written, easy to read, pretty straightforward story with a bit of twists and turns.
Note: On KU at time of posting. Standalone, complete story. Recommended for those who like possessive, alpha men and quick reads.

I loved this book, as I have every other book written by JR. However I'm not sure I understood the reason for the title!
The story was good but it wasn't clear as to the male character's back story regarding the 'underbelly of society' nor could I find how much older than 'his princess' he was. Apart from that nothing to complain about with this book.
Get this book in your virtual basket and give it a read on the beach or in bed, choice is yours but give it a read xx

This is a quick read and while it’s a cute story, it could do with some more background and information. I did not like that Bryce would force a woman he just rescued, to work for him after he kidnaps her, definitely selfish and not so much on the hero side. The ending suggests a HEA but it feels forced, like the author was done writing and smacked the last few sentences in there to create a an ending. It was still a nice quick enjoyable read.

This is a short steamy romance read. Lucy Winters the rich princess daughter of Peter Winters, Hedge fund managers and owner of half of Grey Peak, has all she ever wants or so she thinks. Bryce lost love once and doesn't think he can again till he sees Lucy, and Lucys stalker. Bryce saves Lucy but for a price. Well written quick read, thats full of steamy desire fueled scenes.

poor meets rich in everyway
She is raised by a single mom and he comes from money. She has vowed to not be with anyone with money so what is a guy to do, well lie of course. These two meet when she fixes him up after a fight then again after she is dumped by a wealthy doctor. These characters are both strong and lovable and their journey is hot and fun to watch. I read worthy of your time

Bryce has been following Lucy around town because he saw someone else following her. When Lucy gets attacked, Bryce is there to help her. However, Bryce feels Lucy is indebted to him. Lucy is rich and doesn't have to work. Bryce is middle working class. Bryce doesn't like rich people (later explained in the book). This is a short read.

This book is about Lucy Winters who is the daughter of a very wealthy man. She almost gets kidnapped and a man who has always watched her from afar rescues her from the kidnapper but then kidnaps her himself! He sets her to work cleaning his humble home. Their chemistry and attraction is intense at all of that lust leads them to falling in love. Quick and short read.

Well this story was freaking hot and steamy. Loved how possessive Bryce was and how he could not stop himself from wanting the rich Lucy. Love at first sight with a little twist. Bryce got his second chance at a HEA.

This was a really cute read. Lucy and Byron were really great together. Lucy is feisty and Byron is an alpha male but is not afraid to show emotion. If anyone is look for a short and sweet read with steam then I would recommend this book!

A hot and steamy novel. It’s instalove for Bryce as he must have Lucy the first time he sees her. After an exciting series of events, Lucy stays with Bryce as she tries to please him and they fall in love for their HEA. An entertaining short story!

This short story is my first time reading this author and I really enjoyed the book. It revolves around two characters, Lucy and Bryce who are from very different social groups. It’s a sweet story that is easily read in one sitting.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this quick story about Bryce and Lucy. Bryce is an older man who grew up on the wrong side of town. Lucy's has had a privileged life. When Bryce saves her from a jerk he takes her home to keep her safe. But he teaches her a lesson to.

A fantastic book one in the Relentless Alphas series. It is quick, engaging, well written, well thought out, funny, and emotionally deep. The characters are likeable; the chemistry between them is off the charts. Definitely recommended!
