The conflict I hated was resolved pretty quickly in this volume which I was thankful for

Their work schedule being so hectic that they couldn't meet for 3 weeks!! finally, a manga that talks about how capitalism is killing love. jk. that'd be an interesting commentary if it existed which doesn't because there isn't anything interesting about this. I think I will drop the series. I'm more bored than when I started this series and I was pretty bored then.

Koyori and Hijiri end up at a dinner with their respective exes, as two jilted lovers decide to take aim at the happy couple. As the hits just keep on coming, there’s a lot that could happen… if this was any other series…
Let’s be clear, this pathetic display on, uh, display, would almost certainly work in real life or a different story, if the couple in question was unsure enough. The contrived genesis of this situation aside, this is straight up playing on a couple’s insecurities.
It doesn’t help that honesty is more a suggestion than an ideal here and our two antagonists are spewing all sorts of toxin to poison this well. But you can try and sell something all you want, it don’t matter if nobody’s buying and Hijiri vehemently heads this all off.
Which leaves Koyori as the damsel, but only briefly, as she’ll get her moment to shine later on. That’s a welcome addition, since she’s been the follower for a lot of the story, so when she takes matters into her own hands it’s a welcome change of pace.
If anything, Koyori really clears a pretty clogged deck and it’s nice to see her firmly kicking butt on all fronts and just slicing this very high school nonsense off right at the ankles. If you’re here for female empowerment via strong friends and sticking up for yourself, this doesn’t disappoint. The goofball denouement to her confrontation is just a bonus.
The rest of the story is the usual shenanigans, which involves a lot of sex, as it turns out. As the previous volumes have proven, these two have healthy appetites and that’s only increased by their triumph over the annoyances in their lives.
After that big throw down there’s a lot more examination of the work-life balance and the slow drift of people towards one another as their relationship progresses and gradually becoming comfortable enough to show up unannounced (and annoy your friends by being very obvious about running off to have sex).
It’s as good as ever, although it certainly isn’t quite as gripping as the previous material leading up to it. We also get some nice bonus stories about the relationship between Hijiri and Koyori in the past. None of them essential, but they do reveal some new facets. It’s lost some of the zip the first volume had, but it’s still a nice change of pace from high school stories.
4 stars - the back half can’t quite keep the momentum going from the first part, but this is still a great look at an adult relationship, featuring actual adults for a change, and a couple that function well together.

Switch me on Band 3 überzeugt mich wieder auf ganzer Linie!
Nachdem ich am Ende vom 2. Band Sorge hatte, dass die Story in typische Love Triangel Manier verfällt, belehrte mich die Fortsetzung jedoch eines besseres.
Die Protagonisten Hijiri und Kojori legen nicht nur untereinander sondern auch nach außen hin eine offene und direkt Kommunikation an den Tag, die mir sehr imponiert. Dadurch entstehen weder Zweifel noch bleibt Raum für Missverständnisse.
Für mich durchleben die beiden bisher eine absolute Bilderbuch Beziehung. Schwierigkeiten werden zusammen gelöst und Sorgen aus dem Weg geräumt. Zudem ist deren Umgang miteinander sehr liebevoll und erwachsen.
Dank kleinerer Backflashs bekommen Lesende auch Eindrücke in gemeinsame Ergebnisse aus vergangenen Tagen ihren langen Freundschaft.
Für mich ist dies ein absolut wundervoller Wohlfühltitel, der mich beim Lesen glücklich macht. Wer gern Romance liest, sollte daran einfach nicht vorbei gehen.

The path of true love doesn’t run smooth - after overcoming the initial challenge of being former childhood friends, Koyori and Hijiri must now face their exes whose pathetic display merely strengthens their relationship instead.
That initial awkward dinner date aside, this volume moves the couple closer together in that gentle, slow-motioned way that is almost imperceptible. Both Koyori and Hijiri are more comfortable with each other now, their belongings are at each other’s apartments, and both are willing to focus on their present rather than their respective pasts. Their relationship is very healthy sexually and shows their deepening trust and commitment to each other.
This continues to be a nice journey with this couple who are likeable and loving, it’s good to see a pretty healthy relationship like this in fiction. The third volume continues this steady journey.

Remains a cute, cozy (in vibe, not heat!) romance. I like seeing the small steps forward in confidence Koyori makes as they overcome each hurdle in their relationship.
The main conflict that opens the volume is kinda flat in that Saito is such a clown villain.
as it is right now she appears out of nowhere in the last volume with this mustache-twirly evil plan to...*checks notes* get back her middle school boyfriend, who she presumably has neither thought of nor spoken to in over a decade. But suddenly she's super upset/obsessed that he's dating his childhood friend? ...ok. I wish Koyori showed as much of a backbone when dealing with Saito as she does with Sosuke.
I love me some hurt/comfort so the way the volume closes is cute.

I love how Hijiri & Koyori handled the ex-boyfriend & girlfriend!!!! It really shows how mature they are and how they trust each other so much. And I’m glad the exes are backing off…for now, or for good?
Well, this arc serves to strengthen their trust in each other better and I’m glad for it. Though in my opinion it’s still a little unnecessary hahaha.
And Koyori’s overcoming her doubts and reservations little by little? Letting herself more loose in the relationship? Loved to see that. Can’t wait to see them move in together.
And the extras are so cute.

There isn't much to say about this volume. We learn more about the exes scheme, and a little bit about the one girl's motivations. Which is to say, she never had any. This problem is solved all too quickly, which is both good and bad. I do like that instead of believing a lie and making the relationship fester, it's quickly rebuked. But since it's done so quickly, it left me feeling unsatisfied. I do enjoy the co-worker being the voice of reason. Most of us have a co-worker or friend that will tell you like it is. It's always good to have those people. There's a few [spice] scenes sprinkled in, but again, nothing too crazy.

Ich liebe liebe diese Reihe! Ich finde Koyori und Hijiri sooo toll. Die beiden sind so süß zusammen. Da fühlt man sich beim lesen richtig einsam.
Ich hatte erst Angst, dass ihr Ex den beiden ihre Beziehung sabotieren wird aber ein Glück ist nichts passiert. Jetzt bin ich auf den 4. Band gespannt. Ob die beiden wirklich zusammenziehen?
Für mich ist die Switch me in Reihe etwas besonderes was mir immer in Erinnerung bleiben wird, da sie meine erste Mange Reihe war.
Ich kann die Reihe jedem empfehlen der mit Manga anfangen möchte.

Love how Koyori showed the shallowness of Saitou’s desire for Hijiri through such a simple discussion. Felt really satisfying to see and I was rooting for Koyori the whole time!! And appreciate that we avoided the trope of her potentially believing Saitou’s lie.
I can’t get a good read on Sousuke. I feel a bit like he accidentally was led into (several) situations with a very easygoing and susceptible attitude but at the same time he did make some awful choices. I’m glad that in this volume he has turned it around a little and is respecting Koyori’s desire for some boundaries.

Omg is this real?! Why so sweet?! I still can't get over it!! Anyway, I knew it was gonna end up that way! All signals are leading there! AND THE EXTRA!! HAVE YOU SEEN THE EXTRA?! LIKE CAN WE HAVE ANOTHER SHOT OF EXTRA? I SO WANNA SEE THEM AS FRIENDS FROM WAY BACK AGAIN, WITH HIDDEN FEELINGS AND ALL. I SWEAR THAT CONFESSION TO THE SLEEP DRUNK! ANGST 100% SO SO PRECIOUS TO ME. This is really intimate, like they do the did 7 days a week, you know, the Jung Kook way? But it isn't dirty and sweaty. That's mostly what I like about this series here. It's just sweet!!

I really like that the plan of the 2 exes didn’t work in separating Hijiri and Koyori. I was slightly surprised to see that Koyori’s ex seemed to accept things easier than Hijiri’s ex did, however, that young woman seemed extremely immature. I’m eager to see how Hijiri and Koyori’s relationship progresses in the next volume, especially with the hopeful cliffhanger ending of this volume.

I need to add a link to the person and video who talked about this series. I'm fairly sure it was Shae from Shaegeeksout on YouTube but I can't find the video in which she talked about this series. It's very good! Without them I would have never picked this up.

This is the kind of series i would like to re-read in psychical form.
Also it's interesting to see what I consider a healthy romance even without taking my western standards into consideration. For example if my romantic interest wouldn't contact me or sporadic for three weeks I think I would assume that they just aren't that into me.
Not in the way I am into them. But in my country we do have a lot more free time compared to the people in Japan. So my assumption is if both parties work that much, your communication would look different. And these characters are doing their best considering that.
All these things are just different enough to make me think a lot about dating rituals in my own culture or the cultures I'm exposed to. For me it all boils down to what I said above: healthy communication, respect, and love but also really liking your partner. No matter the culture or the roles genders have in a culture if you don't have those things I think it becomes a lot harder to always feel safe, comfortable and your own person in a relationship.

Koyori straight up told that biatch that she was lying about Hijiri!!! Love it! I’m glad that the exes scheming together thing is over now. And our couple stayed together through it. It was too dumb to believe lol.

These two are just so sweet!!!! Friends to lovers!!! How they get tested yet again and yet again take it down. Then she goes over to his house to realize that he was sick was just so sweet!!! I can't wait for the next one ... I need more of these two.....

I’m glad they’ve put an end to side plot of exes it seems instead of dragging it out, though with every romance there are problems so I wonder other than moving what will happen next.

Volume 3 is good, but it wasn't cute and as good as the first two volumes. I like that they are working out their issues and are moving forward on their relationship.
