Moscatelli Crime Family #3

Kept by the Mafia Enforcer

Rate this book
Rocco: I was sent to collect the eighteen-year-old mafia princess, Alessia Ricci. Why Luca and Matteo elected me, the six-foot-seven, hulking enforcer to do a simple pick up and delivery is beyond me, but orders are orders. I’ll admit the gorgeous, curvy goddess threw me for a loop the first time I saw her. But when she turned her nose up at me and treated me like a servant, I knew she was every bit the spoiled brat I expected her to be. I didn’t expect, however, that Alessia would give me the slip. Twice. Now I’m chasing her down with more determination than ever. Her impressive disappearing acts intrigued me. Her golden eyes drew me in. But it’s her quiet strength that has me hunting her down so I can make the princess mine. Finders keepers, after all.

Alessia: I can’t believe I’m doing this. Defying the men who control my life. Starting over somewhere new. My inspiration while preparing for my big escape was Regina George from Mean Girls. Spoiled, arrogant, and entitled to boot. I sprinkled in a little bit of Scarlett O’Hara for good measure. For all my research and planning though, nothing prepared me for Rocco. He’s tall, ripped, and bearded, with hands that look like they could crush me. Or do other things to me. Not that I would know anything about that. It was his rich dark brown eyes that really got to me, though. But I’m being naive. It’s a crush, nothing more. Why then do I want him to chase me? I’ve been kept under lock and key my whole life, but the idea of being kept by Rocco has me questioning my plans to disappear. I hope it doesn’t take him too long to find me…

KEPT BY THE MAFIA ENFORCER is everything you've come to expect from my books: Lots of sweet, plenty of heat, and just enough drama to keep things interesting. Rocco was cynical of how Matteo and Luca found love so quickly, now watch him get brought to his knees by one clever, sassy woman. As always, this is a safe read, no cheating, and a guaranteed HEA!

The big mafia hero and mafia princess heroine. At first I wasn’t wild about the heroine. However, I did warm up to her after she stopped acting like a brat. The hero was big, alpha and growly which I adore

-no cheating
-no ow/om drama
-pushing away at first by heroine
-no violence of a sexual nature
-safe - no others after meeting
-disappointing epilogue that was maybe a month out. Not sure if I will proceed with next book because I like my HEA’s

We back with the mafia family!!! Book 3!! And we got a hint of Alessia and Rocco in the last book. And this was some fun times and steamy moments. I also got this goodie as an ARC.

Alessia all her life was told what to do how to live, scared not having a life she was locked away never being able to do things since she was a mob boss daughter. But thanks to Matteo she has a chance at freedom but she also doesn't trust him. So when he sends Rocco the Enforcer to get her she already has a plan for freedom. So she makes sure Rocco sees her as a spoiled, rich brat to though him off and not see her as a threat and no see her real plan.. And boy!! I laughed with those plans. Lets just say it involves some talk about Periods, handcuffs and a potter potty. Yeah you read what I said. And as for Rocco HE WAS A TEDDY BEAR ON THE INSIDE AND I LOVE HIM!! he was close to being my top guy in this series but sorry boo Matteo is still number one. I did wish we saw more rough Rocco in torture when it came to getting info. But he was such a good guy making sure his girl knew he would chase after her, keep her safe, and show her they were equals in everything. 😍❤

We still dealing with the rival family so I wonder which man or woman shall get that kill shot.

We also got a hint of the next couple and Bosco is already yummy. And I cant wait for his story.

I’m absolutely loving Cameron Hart’s Moscatelli Crime Family Series, each book is a delicious InstaLove read that will melt your Kindle.

If you like your hero’s alpha AF, sexy and swoony then Rocco is just the man for you - you will love him. As the Family’s enforcer he is sent to collect the young and spoiled Mafia Princess Alessia, except, she’s not what she seems. Alessia is young, sheltered and beautifully damaged. Far from spoiled, she is tenacious and determined - you will love her too.

Although incredibly attracted to the bearded, tatted, sexy as sin man, Alessia is a woman on a mission, her goal - freedom from the prison that is her life. For his part Rocco’s protective instincts are at an all time high and he cannot keep his body and soul from wanting the curvaceous troublemaker.

What happens next is a deliciously sexy, catch me if you can, game, where Rocco is bound and determined to find and keep his sexy vixen. Watching them give in to their attraction and get their sexy sweet happily ever after makes this a thoroughly enjoyable evening read. TBR and Enjoy!

Kept by the Mafia Enforcer (Moscatelli Crime Family #3) by Cameron Hart Review ♡
4.5✨
3🌶

I really enjoyed this book!! It is very lighthearted and a fun read. I loved how it was short but not too short and had such a good storyline. Alessia and Rocco were so perfect for each other and I just loved them together! I love a mafia romance but sometimes you just crave a story that is on the shorter side but still amazing and this was definitely that!!

They were so cute and I loved how we got a glimpse into their future together aka having a family and getting married. I also loved how he was so sweet and protective with her but such an alpha mafia boss when with others. I loved how feisty she was but also such a kind and sweet person. I also loved the chemistry they had and the sexual tension. He just fell in love with her so quickly and could not get enough of her! I loved how she grew stronger in herself and grew as a person.

Everyone go check out Cameron Hart, she is an amazing author!! I can’t wait to read the rest of this series!! This is one of the many books of hers I have read and she definitely doesn’t disappoint!

I actually read this series slightly out of order because I read this story last. I waited so long to read this one because I was not into the bratty, immature h angle. I was wrong and right. Alessia is bratty but she's not immature. She has her reasons for running and trying to find freedom, and I actually really enjoy that she fought Rocco. Like she really put up a fight, she wasn't some simpering nitwit who gave in as soon as Rocco touched her. I also like that Rocco didn't treat her like spun glass, of course he was protective and careful with her but his behavior wasn't over the top. I really enjoyed getting to watch their connection grow and their chemistry was pretty hot. I should have known better than to doubt Cameron Hart and this series. Off to re-read the fourth book now.

Ever growing family

Book three takes Rocco on a chase, in more ways than one, to win Alessia’s heart. Lots of action and suspense. There’s also a whole lot of steam in this story! Excited for the next! HEA

This one may just be my favorite

Rocco and Alessia’s story starts out with him going to get her to bring her to Matteo for information, only she keeps giving him the slip. She doesn’t quite know how to act and just knows she wants freedom and he can’t seem to want nothing more than to find her and protect her. They have a bit of a bumpy start, and of course as always, the enemy comes. Their connection is just too good.

Another Magical Mafia romance❤️❤️❤️

Aghhhhhh I cannot get enough of these growly, alpha, possessive moscatelli mafia men!! They’re hard and brutal with everyone except their ladies! I love it!!

This one was so much fun. Alesia gave Rocco a run for his money, as he was tasked with “collecting” her from a rival family and in turn she was going to narc on her evil father. Only...she kept eluding Rocco and wriggling out of his grasp in her relentless search for freedom. Rocco is both enraged by her antics and also smitten by them. He doesn’t know what she’s doing to him, his heart seems to ache as much as...other parts...when she’s around, but the more he chases her the more fierce and primal he becomes in wanting to catch AND keep his little mafia princess...for himself.

This story was just delightful. AND SAFE! How many mafia romances can claim that? Not many and that makes this series pure gold. I really loved that even tho Alesia was obstinate, giving Rocco the slip, she wasn’t obnoxious. She was tough, but soft and vulnerable underneath a hard layer that had built up over years of living in terror of her father and his brutality. She was sheltered, innocent, but not naive or silly. She was resourceful and quick witted and when she submitted to Rocco, letting down her guard to melt into his arms, my heart melted. As well as my kindle, because DAYUMMMM!!!! Cameron Hart can write a steamy sizzling sex scene that burns up the screen. It’s HOT, HOT, HOT!!!!

Heroes past isn’t mentioned but it doesn’t seem as if he were a mansk@nk in the past. Heroine is a virgin, never been kissed. No cheating or abuse of any kind BY HERO, HOWEVER, heroine has been subjected to emotional abuse by father and slight physical abuse by other mafia guys (no sexual abuse at all). There is no ow drama, and the only OM is the heroine’s fiancé, who she is being arranged in marriage to. They have no relationship whatsoever. HEA without epilogue.

Oh my! I can't stop gushing and raving about and recommending these books. The entire series. I have found the magic unicorn of mafia stories for me. These books! They are all the things I want in a mafia romance with just the right balance of sweet, sexy, violence, and mafia bada**ery. I know a lot of people love mafia stories because they are dark, violent, graphic, and filled with heroes who a right proper a-holes. These books are not like that and it's why I love them.

Okay, Alessia. I started off being very wary of her and almost certain I would hate her since she strutted onto the page with attitude, and came across like a spoiled brat. Then I discovered it was all an act. Her whole life has been an act as she has been at once sheltered and brutalised. Underneath the facade of acting a certain way to project a certain image is a young woman who has been traumatised, deprived, and neglected. All her learning has come from books, TV shows, and movies. She doesn't know how to act in any given situation because she's been isolated her entire life. But she's curious, intelligent, and determined to fight for freedom and chance of a life worth living. I didn't like that she ran from Rocco and he had to chase her repeatedly but as I got to know her, I understood where she was coming from and what motivated her. And then I loved her strength, her determination, and her ingenuity. Given the opportunity, Alessia could accomplish great things since she has such amazing potential.

Poor Rocco. Alessia really gave him a run for his money. His persistence and his gentleness with her is admirable. There were times when I thought maybe he'd lose it. Maybe he'd get cranky with her, but aside from a little grumpiness, Rocco is a wonderful combination of tough, focused, and tender. He's gentle with Alessia when she's skittish as all heck, and he gives her the right blend of roughness and care to let her feel safe and protected. I love that he's not afraid to admit how he feels and show what he feels. He embraces his emotions while embracing Alessia. And yet, when things get rough and dirty, he doesn't pull his punches.

I'm madly in love with this series and all the characters I've met so far. I'm also intrigued as to what the overall story arc is building towards. I'm not exactly sure but I think Bosco's story is next and I look forward to seeing how he catches his woman. The next book can't come fast enough especially since I've glommed all three books one after the other without a break. I'm not usually one to binge read books and tend to have tremendous will power even with books I enjoy to read something else instead of devouring the series. I like to take a break between books in a series but I couldn't stop with this one. I can't get enough of Ms Hart's brand of sweet and sexy.

2.5⭐

Not my favorite in the series. I honestly don't know why, but I just wasn't into the MCs or their romance. Also, because this was too sweet and cheesy, I'm having a hard time appreciating the plot because of the secondhand embarrassment I'm having.

I didn't like the fact that Alessia's only turned 18 a few weeks ago in the present time and they got engaged at the end of the book. Rocco (29) should've waited at least 2-3 years before proposing and letting her explore her new-found freedom.

Then, the steamy scenes were too much for my liking, ngl, they were hot, but I ended up skimming some of them. I think they happen in almost every chapter, so it's a bit repetitive along the way. Also, the first time they did the deed, they never even had a talk about how long it has been for Rocco because he sure as crap is not a freaking saint. This scene was supposed to be monumental, but I only got uncomfortable reading it.

Overall, this didn't work for me, and I think I lost interest in the last book as well. I'm trying to avoid books with virgin h, and unfortunately all the fmcs in this series are. Idc, if the H is not a hoe, but reading the same trope time and time again is losing its appeal and kind of making me annoyed while I'm so deep in the story. I used to be fine with this, but reading too many books the last few years made me see a lot of double standards in romance, and I'm not having any of that anymore. Also, I'm not a fan of HFN endings; I need to see a glimpse of their lives a few years later.

Unfortunately this isn't for me but I'm sure others might find this up their alley.

Book info:
- Mafia romance
- Forced proximity
- Virgin FMC, no info on MMC
- Violence
- Kidnapping
- No cheating, opd, breakup

All in all 5* epic read.
Like previous in the series (yes I have read them) there's a connection. This time not just to alessia, but a connection between family's and friend to rocco, jace,Luca and Freya. I mean I never saw it coming! Alessia had already relayed the evidence and information she promised them already to her at the time 'online hacker friend' which actually is Freya! That was a plot twist I never expected. From 1/4 of the way in Rocco developed feelings for her and well as alessia for him. And made me chuckle a little how the great escapes always happened in the most in predictable way. And unfortunately the one time when decided to set her roots and take the plunge she was taken!! Again little more into the mafia history of the crime family, but this is the downside toenbook. Would love to see little more of the action alpha male tough rough down and dirty hitman style mafia swooning you get in this style of book. But than I don't truly think in total that would really suit this book at all.
In total I loved is book out of all 3. And I really really prey that Cameron heart will release more.

4.5 stars!!
I absolutely loved Rocco and Alesia’s story.
I’m always a sucker for a girl with some Houdini skills, and Alessia has plenty. She so innocent and sheltered, but clever and smart at the same time. She’s got that “I’ll figure it out” attitude that I admire. Teaching herself everything she could about how to survive and escape the world she was born into.
And Rocco is another one of those special kind of alpha males that’s brutal and cruel to the world. A tough coating of thick ice encasing his entire heart. And then his girl shows up and starts cracking away at it until it shatters at her feet. Revealing the tender loving teddy bear he is inside.
So sweet.
And steamy. God I love Cameron Hart’s sex scenes. They’re the perfect mix of filthy, passionate, savage, and totally loving. You can feel each of the characters healing each other with every tender touch.
*sighs* So good.
My only reason for dropping the rating half a star is the same for all the others I’ve read of hers. I’m just greedy when it comes to my epilogues. I want that look into their future where they’re settled into each other but still loving one other like it’s the first day they met.
Can’t wait to read about Bosco and his farmers market girl soon.

This series got me sucked in

I’m officially a fan . I’ve now finished book 3 and can’t get enough. Starting with book 1 I’ve gone back to back and so enjoyed it. Cameron has stepped up the heat with each book and I’m loving it. I know I said more Lifetime then Hallmark but this one was definitely more HBO 🤣🤣🤣. Along with turning the spice up a level you get alittle more mafia action. No worries not to much to make it dark just enough to make it fun. Again you get another beautiful curvy FMC and she’s completely a badass . Also an age gap like the others but just like the first 2 done so well. I’m always worried with age gaps that you will get this creeper older guy Taking advantage of this young naïve girl feeling but not here! Cameron has given you these strong younger females that have been through some stuff that they come out with such a fight and maturity . You seriously forget that there’s even an age difference throughout the book. Is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. I definitely recommend starting at the beginning. As always loves check the TW make sure your comfortable. Then jump on in and enjoy the ride. Happy reading book besties 💙

Rocco is the gruff, hardened enforcer of the Moscatelli family. When he is sent to retrieve the mafia princess, he thinks it's below his abilities. Little does he know, he might just have met his match with Alessia.

Alessia has been hidden away her entire life. When she's given the opportunity to trade info to the Moscatelli family, she agrees. Too bad they don't know that she doesn't plan on going easily.

As a huge fan of the previous books, you better bet that I couldn't wait to see the mafia princess's story.

Once again, Hart has taken us back to the mafia world and given us another rough around the edges hero. I loved watching Rocco fall for scrappy Alessia. Their game of cat and mouse was so entertaining, and couldn't wait to see what would happen next.

I also enjoyed how Alessia was tied to the Moscatelli group. I'm so excited to read the final book in this series, coming soon, but also sad to see it end.

If you haven't checked out this series yet, what are you waiting for? Do it now!

Cameron Hart is coming one of my favorite authors because of how amazing her heroes and heroines are. This boom was an amazing 3rd installment to the Moscatello crime family. I couldn't put this down after reading the first page, and it left me anxious to read the next book. I loved how clever Alessia was and how much she wanted to be free. I also loved how crazy she made Rocco from the moment they met. After her disappearing act, he knew she was his, and he would do anything to protect her. These two were made for each other, and with every page that went by, I could see how perfect they were for each other. I seriously can't wait for the nail installment of this series because I am certain this author will deliver nothing less than an extraordinary book, just like every book in this series.

Moscatelli Crime Family Book 3
Mafia

Trigger warning
Kidnapping
Murder

Rocco, an enforcer for Matteo, is sent to deliver Alessia to the Moscatelli compound. He gets her picked up, but she isn't ready to trade one mafia family for another just yet. She escapes him again and again. Her "family" is still chasing her. Rocco just wants to love her and protect her, but she keeps running.

This series is a good, short series to read. It's darker than vanilla, but it's not *DARK* dark. Bosco makes an appearance here, and his book is next. You get to see Freya and Darlene again. No noticeable typos. No cheating. A small amount of violence and some references to darker subjects.

I LOVE this series! Although each book is a standalone and focuses on 2 different characters there is a slight overlap as the main characters from the previous books appear in each book. But as this is the 3rd book in the series it won’t take too long to read the other books to catch up and trust me, they are just as brilliant as this one is. The plot is fantastic and superbly written. The characters have depth to them and have great dialogue as well as some wonderfully steamy scenes. This is the type of book I’m always happy to be an insomniac for as it made it easy for me to sit and read this cover to cover. Absolutely brilliant and easy to read. Oh, did I mention I LOVE this series!

Cameron Hart is the queen of instalove. What I love about these books is that you don’t have angst... it’s two people that are an unlikely match but they end up being perfect together. Rocco is the enforcer for the Moscatelli Family. He has watched his two bosses fall in love but believes he will never be that lucky. Alessia is the daughter of a mafia boss who essentially sold her hand in marriage. Alessia contacts the Moscatelli Underboss to hell her escape. Rocco is tasked to bring her in... little does he know that she wants her freedom not to be trapped by another mafia family. Alessia slips through Rocco’s fingers making this a tougher job than he expected... he also didn’t expect that she would turn his world upside down.

This story focuses more on their love story than the actual families which I really liked. I’d love to have a novella with all of the couples to see where they all end up. I love that Cameron creates women that you can relate to and even aspire to their level of confidence! I can’t wait to read more!

Kept, To Be Set Free

This book was a great addition to the series. I loved watching Rocco turn to mush for Alessia.

My heart broke for Alessia and all she had been through in her life and I found myself rooting for her to get away from Rocco and get to the ocean...to see and experience what was out in the world. Of course I knew Rocco would chase, and they would get their HEA.

And darn was Alessia brilliant! For not having a formal education and spending her life caged she sure found a way to thrive and care for herself for when she finally escaped.

I'm a huge fan of older man/younger woman romances and throw in there a mafia man going all soft and gooey for his one and I'm a goner. This was a great book!

This was such a great story that I had to stay up late to finish it. Loved the characters. Rocco is the Moscatelli family enforcer. He is sent to get the Ricci family daughter. She's not about to marry some friend that takes over her father's family and she has to marry him. Alessia is not going to just marry so she is running from her family. Rocco likes the look of this beauty and he's hook. But she's slippery and she manages to elude him not once but twice. She leads him on a merry chase but he finally catches her. .Once caught there relationship starts to really develop. Great story. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The mafia princess and her enforcer.

This is a great series and can’t wait for the next story, Bosco and Rosalie?

The heroines in this series really kick ass and Alesia might have been hidden from the world but she brilliant. She was able to plan her escape using what she learned online. Rocco might be a scary giant but he has a heart of gold. There’s a a lot of pull from Alesia but once she realize that Rocco is not like his father’s goons she finally learned to trust him.

Love the story and can’t wait for another story. It’s great to see the others MCs from the stories.

Wow. Just wow. Cameron Hart has really outdone herself with this book. I loved this entire series but not only was this my favorite so far but definitely in my top 10 books of all time. This book was so beautiful and raw. You felt every depth of the characters emotions. It tugged at my heartstrings in the best way possible. Rocco was so darn supportive while still being alpha male and it was adorable. And Alesia’s strength was incredible. I loved her so much. Everyone needs to read this book ASAP!

What a pairing. After Matteos (Boss of the Mafia family) and his second in command Luca now comes the story of the Mafia family enforcer Rocco. He is send to capture the daughter of the opposing Mafia family Alessia. But Alessia isn't the spoiled princess as Rocco imagines. She has her own dreams and seeks her freedom and not to be used as a pawn. She succseds to escape twice from Roccos surveilance. That intrigues him and now he chases her die himself. Steamy sex scenes and very suspenceful story.

This is the third book in this series by this author, this book can be read as a stand alone read. This book will just hook you from the very first page, the story is so gripping you won't want to put it down till the very end. This story follows the relationship between the characters Rocco and Alessia. This is a beautifully wrote story with many different emotions from the characters. I can't wait to read more from these characters and this author in the future.

Just like Rocco, I expected Alessia to be this bimbo, spoiled brat and difficult Mafia princess. But guurrrrllll, I sure was wrong & so was Rocco 😂😂

She got away from him, not once but twice and manage to flew out of the country.

To think that, all of that would hurt his pride but NOOOOOOOO, chick got under his skin and wrapped around her finger, he just wanted her safe despite all the stunts she pull on him.

They both lost their Mamma at such a young age and is searching for validation + sense of belonging.

Great book

Alessia just wanted to get away from her past and start a new life.
She meet with Rocco with the help of freya but didn't know it was her until she meet with Matteo
Rocco just wanted to get her to Matteo but the girl kept giving him the slip and running away
Until she cannot broke down and he found her again and they both had feeling for each other
Rocco got pay back for all the trouble Alessia was caused
