Matt's book is really engaging, straight forward to read but also gives you plenty to think through. Time for everything is filled with examples of application that allows you to tailor ideas to who you are and the circumstances you find yourself in. One little point of reference that caused a little tension for me on page 88 Matt's reference to Ephesians 5v22 the double submission! Im not sure Paul was calling women to submit and men to lead as this seems contradictory to the submission to one another. V22 seems to be about who you submit to ie only your own husbands not menfolk as a whole. It didn't stop me from engaging in the rest of the book because even though he toes the Complimentarian line his application is filled with living as one flesh rather than leader verses submissive. Ultimately Matt's book can be summed up as living lives 'trusting in God, serving him, following him and looking forward to being with him' and Matt gives lots of ideas of how to do this.

I liked Fuller's paradigm for knowing if a Christian is falling into idolatry or sinful neglect in various of life. Overall a helpful book on managing time.
