How far is too far?
Ask yourself what lines are ones that you would never, under any circumstance, ever cross?
What is unforgivable? Unjustifiable? Deplorable.
What if someone you loved was on the other side of that line?
Would you cross it, if it meant selling your soul to the devil in exchange for their freedom?
Well I’m your worst fucking nightmare and they call me Misfit.
I fix things. People, problems. Your broken heart with my cock. The list is endless.
Until the day I stumbled upon a beautiful Înger who drew the evil right from my bone marrow.

why am I hot for obsessed Possessive asshole/dirty Alphas.. like.. Dang Dee I need help lol. This one was a pretty good story I enjoyed the Hero wayyyy to much.

Misfit is a darkish Violent bad man who does very bad things and has a reputation for it. He's an asshole and gets jobs that always covers him in blood.. and when he finds Ivy in an alley naked (blessed she wasnt raped) beaten, left for dead his cold heart beats. He saves her and makes it a mission of his to find out who wants her dead.

As for Ivy she was okay to me I liked her sass and the need to try taking care of her brother.. poor girl was confused why shes woke up in the hospital and some random man being a jerk and bossing her around that he's taking her home and informs her someone is trying to kill her. Im surprised she didnt fight more? She tries to keep her brother a secret because she is alittle afraid of Mistfit and turned on by him. But she doesn't know how deep Misfit connection are so he knows mostly everything but the way he "torture" her to get that info is 🔥🔥🔥

There was a moment were I did wanna smack Misfit when he finds out Ivy is a virgin he kinda leaves her making her feel embarrassed and humiliated. There really wasn't any talk about that it was glossed over and he was okay when they tried to fk again.

My other problem i felt the story ending to fast and wanted a Epilogue.. but I know it's setting up for the MC and the war Mistfit is helping them with.

Low angst, no ow/om drama, No cheating, drama, slight secondary character, sexy times, virgin gal and no manwhore (many girls wanted him he never gave them the time)

Unfortunately this book fell flat for me.
I DNF it.

The plot was promising but the dialogue was absolutely ludicrous. The story started off quite strong until the over the top cheesy dialogue started spitting out.

The anti-hero claims to be this extreme badass but.. he was such a weak character.
FMC was an immature wackadoodle. I skimmed over her dialogue and eventually stopped reading at 45% in.

Ramzi completely blew me away with Misfit. It’s everything I could have ever hoped for and more—sinfully dark, gritty, and so effing hot 🥵

Misfit is a bad man who does bad things. Tall, dark, and daddy af, he’s the absolute definition of an alpha asshole. Ivy gives as good as she gets though, and the banter between these two is literally everything.

I adored the vulnerability that Ivy was able to pull out of Misfit, and the glimpse of what made him the man he is today. Plus the way he’d literally do anything for her (and had from the very beginning) had me swooning.

NOW GO READ THE DAMN THING!!!

"Let's play a game, Înger, shall we? I want to see how many times it will take to bring you to the brink of orgasm before you break, and give in to the inevitable. Tell me to stop, tell me that this is fucked up. This is your only chance to run.”

Does this end with – Misfit – or is it just the beginning…?

SOMF, the first book in the Sons of Sin series, coming Winter 2020 and it's just something I definitely don't want to miss out.

New dark/mc series is coming with Misfit as sort of prologue/ prequel and it's dark/hot/crazy hell of a ride to be expected based on this short story which has everything you need to crave for more.
Misfit & Inger or Luca & Ivy – love is supposed to be a fairytale, they will show you it's not.

Control is what he's built his life around. He is ruthless and merciless, he is to be feared. She came around so suddenly and captured his heart with a blink of an eye.
She makes him weak, she is his soft spot he will worship, kill for, and die a thousand deaths just for her. She will show him he's worthy of love and goodness. Together they are everything and a bit more.

OMG, read this story. I am addicted and have a new best book boyfriend ever!

“He's the only drug I've ever done and I won't last a second without his high.”

R. Holmes just blew me out of the water with this book. The STEAM. The ANGST. It’s twisted, dark, and oh so delicious.

Misfit is the kind of hero/villain that I have been NEEDING lately. He is rough, possessive, brutal, and a lot bit psycho.

This book was filled with gripping, twisted moments and R. Holmes brought the heat with these characters.

I am beyond excited to see what she brings next in this world.

4.5 rating overall!

I was looking forward to reading this book but I found myself a tad disappointed in this story. The cover and story-line caught my attention at once. I liked the story.

My one critique is that I feel that there is a lot of this story missing. It's missing context and feels rushed. I wanted more and found at times confused on what was going on. I had high hopes but I found it fell flat.

All in all this is a quick MC read and has a good story-line.

Misfits by R.Holmes is a brand new stand-alone book in a brand new MC Series.

I have to be complete honest and state that i have not read anything by this author and when I had seen this book making its rounds I just had to sign up.

This book exceeded all my expectations and left me wanting more and more. This book was phenomenally written and is such a perfect introduction to a series that I know is going to be a banger .

From the moment I started this book, I was captivated by this world and wanted to explore everything that it had to offer.

This book isn’t full length but it’s quite close, it’s filled with action packed moments that leave you in suspense and anticipation of what’s going to happen, prepare yourself to meet two people who have so much sexual chemistry that starts from the moment these two meet from there it just continues to grow and grow and it was something I loved being able to watch develop throughout.

This book was an MC Book with a twist, It wouldn’t be your typical MC book if you didn’t have blood, gore and torture. It had all the darkness and everything that you didn’t know you would need.

Misfit is this sinister, enthralling and beautiful man. From the moment you meet him you can sense this aura from him that screams darkness and lethal. There’s this whole mysterious vibe around misfit that drawls you in to wanting to know everything about him, especially to do his past.

Misfit can’t afford weaknesses and distractions especially in his line of work but when he stumbled across Ivy one night, that all changed and he had become drawn to her like a moth to a flame.

Ivy was someone who challenged and was able to keep misfit on his toes. This was the type of girl he needed. She kept things real, honest and kept things alive with the banter they shared.

I absolutely loved the vulnerability side of misfit that only ivy could bring out. We were able to see the glimpses of him that not many people get to see.

I definitely loved this introduction and loved how it set the tone for the other books that are to come. I sort of have an idea of who could be next. But I guess, I’ll have to wait and see.

Definitely go and check out this book.

This was an entertaining read. I liked the characters and crime-themed storyline. Of particular appeal were Misfit and Ivy; however, given the nature Misfit's job, I expected a more lethal persona than was portrayed. He came across less forceful, less fierce than someone in his position, even making allowances for a soft spot for his lady love. Perhaps this is owing to the fact that I read darker romances, I found this one a little sweeter in the dark realm. And while the heroine came across as spirited, it was often, and she often acted, at the expense of what was in her best interest. The two characterizations influenced my reception of the story, a sort of bravado that was not realized.

Though a shorter story, the love affair developed overly quickly, needing that foundation of tension, build up of chemistry, sexual tension. I appreciated the love scenes, which were absolutely, wonderfully sweltering hot. Willing suspension of disbelief after a five-week coma in which surely some muscular atrophy would have occurred absent physical therapy as well as physically walking out of a hospital after discharge.

Overall, mischaracterized as a dark romance. An entertaining read if weak in character development and storyline authenticity that perhaps a longer story might have achieved.

I must say this book blew me away. I knew from the beginning that it would be a definite 5 star read for me. It is dark and gritty and isn’t afraid to get a little steamy (and by little I mean hella sexy).

Ramzi has this way of writing that immediately captivates you, draws you in and leaves you wanting more. Misfit is no different because I immediately fell in love with the characters, storyline and excellent writing.

Misfit himself was such an alpha male, however it is evident that he struggles with his past. I loved the soft side of him that was portrayed through his love and affection for Ivy. Everybody is a sucker for a man who only shows his weaknesses for his woman ;)

I highly recommend this book to EVERYONE, especially if you’re looking for a quick dark romance read that will have you dying for more. I was immensely invested whilst reading this as not once did I want to put it down. I cannot wait to read the rest of this series because I know Ramzi will do amazing things.

This is the second book I’ve read from R Holmes and I can say already that I really enjoy her writing and her mind.

I found myself wanting to read more and more to know more about what was going on.
Misfit is the kind of hero that I really enjoy, the bad boy with a heart of gold. Ivy was a good character too, I really liked to see her strength and how she never backed down. They were so different and yet they really completed each other.

Overall it was a really good and fast read. Can’t wait to read more about this world.

A book for people who think they like dark romance but don’t really like dark romance.

Started off interesting, became boring. He keeps warning her off because he’s supposed to be some monster... where?

It was okay but done before and better.

Wow! I have never read a book by @rholmesauthor but she's going to be an Auto-Buy in the future.

What was the worst part about Misfit? IT WAS TOO SHORT! I NEEDED MORE!!

Misfit is mostly like your favorite anti-hero, but there was just something about him that made me love him. Maybe because he wasn't afraid of his feelings for Ivy or didn't fight them like normal anti-heros do.

Ivy was one tough cookie and I loved her. She didn't have a hero complex with Misfit but truly saw the person he was and loved him for all the good and bad.

This book sets up what is going to be an AMAZING series. I'm not a huge MC fan but I am already so invested in all of the characters that I can't wait for the Sons of Sins series!

Wow well this was a wonderfully delicious read. Misfit is tall dark, handsome and deliciously dangerous. I love when psychotic men have layers and this book packs this to the top.

He was really angry but possessive and I always say its the ones that make you question your morals that grip you and he certainly did. He was completely addictive.

I really liked Ivy, she intrigued me alot, and I really liked their relationship and how they got under eachothers skin.. I liked her resilience and how she wasn't afraid to go against him.

This was somewhat of a quick fast burn and oh so hot. Usually I don't like insta type love but the way Ramzy write it eas really well done.

Hot, dark, and dirty. This was my first book by this author, but it won’t be my last. I was sucked in from page one and really enjoyed this novella. I can’t wait for the new series, especially with the glimpse we caught into the M.C. world. Misfit and Ivy were a unique couple. I found them both to be strong and brave. I highly recommend giving this book a shot.

Misfit. Scoundrel. Uncouth.

They call him Misfit but nothing about this man lacks grace, even when he's neck deep in blood Misfit has an air of refinement to him honed from years of business practice.

Man saves woman, but really woman saved man! There is nothing Misfit will not or cannot do and he proves it to Ivy. Ivy is a woman just coasting by in life until one life changing moment has her encountering Misfit and can you go all in?

I loved this book so much and Misfit was everything I want in a MMC, and he doesn't do a complete 180. With Misfit there will always be blood and violence, you're either in or out!

The steamy scenes were hot!!!!!

Book received from the author and I am reviewing it voluntarily and objectively.

This book could have been amazing if it was executed better. I was excited to read it, as it’s everything my heart likes. This type of plot has been done before, but I think the pacing was much more realistic in all those other books.

Misfit is dark...so we’re told a million times. Problem is, save for a scene or two, we don’t see this darkness. Even when Ivy sees him murder, he still goes on to say that she won’t be with him when knowing his evilness. What darkness? Why are we only told through the book? Show us!

Ivy isn’t something wonderful. She keeps a secret, which he soon learns about. Other than that, she doesn’t play a large part in anyway, other than getting herself in trouble even when knowing the help he can provide to her.

He finds her in an alley, naked, bloody and bruised one night so takes her to the hospital and remains there for five weeks until she wakes. He vows to get revenge for her. I didn’t understand what happened to her clothes in the alley, since she wasn’t raped, so I question the inclusion of this piece. Anyway, he vows to protect her, but then there’s a bit of an insta-love going on.

Very steamy and very quick, whirlwind romance. I didn’t love this but I didn’t hate this. I disliked how it played out though, and I wish they had a bit more interaction before getting there and before he’s claiming her.

Again, it’s not the plot. I love these types of plots. It was just how it was written and played out or something. Based on reviews, I seem to be the only one with these thoughts.

Fans of Dark romance this is for us! My very first book by this author and I'm HOOKED! Misfit is the definition of anti-hero, Ivy is the struggling college student. One night, a dark alley, mutual enemies. Bloodshed, plot twists and smoking chemistry between these 2 characters kept me turning the page!

Ooofff this was a steamy little read.

Misfit is tall dark and deliciously dangerous. Why do I always love me the psychos 🤷🏼‍♀️ I don't know but Misfit makes the list for sure.

He was hot, angry, possessive, dirty and completely addictive. Ivy was intriguing right from the start and I loved how they got tangled up with one another. She was innocent yet still tough and wasn't afraid to go against him.

I liked all the side characters in this book and found myself wanting more from all of them which isn't often the case but with this I wanted to know more about them and definitely would like their books.

This was fast burn and hot AF and left me wanting so much more. Wasn't as dark as I wished it could be but still a good read for me.

A little dark and gritty read.

3.5 stars

This book an insta love/lust type of connection the main characters have.

With that said let’s get into the depth of this story. It was a good story in how it introduced a new MC series which seems promising. The interaction with side characters is really what helped me connect with the storyline.

By themselves, Misfit and Ivy weren’t strong characters at all. In my opinion they both lacked depth and more emotions. Ivy more than Misfit. While we learned a bit more of how Misfit is the way he is, of course helps with depth and to feel him out. He is emotionless but having more background info would of helped me connect more. Ivy was just a shiny accessory here, we don’t get to know her, her motives or what she’s about. Being a big sister is about the only thing I can connect with her.

This is a dark ish story, more on the gritty side, sexy in the bedroom for sure. Now the side characters are what have me intrigued for the upcoming MC series.

I tend to read dark stories sparsely but dark dark this was not. For those who don’t read dark this might be a good one to start dipping your toes into. Then come find me for more dark recs if you enjoyed it.

I received an unedited ARC for this story but halfway through the author published and I went and downloaded on KU to read faster.

Even with the edited and proofed KU version there were some discrepancies. Improper use of Spanish pronouns which could be an easy google fix. Double explaining in some other areas as well. References and comparisons to 365 DNI also became redundant.

All in all it was a quick and decent read once I had time to sit and read.

My name is whispered like a prayer and like the villian I am, I answer. Every time.

He may be a Misfit but I'd love to be stranded on his island... Needless to say I enjoyed reading Misfit. This was a fast and dirty, messy and sexy, glimpse into Misfit and the Sons of Sin MC. I would have liked some more grit and carnage from Misfit, more examples of his fixer persona. This book is super bloody so I can't even believe I'm saying that right now! However, having said that, this book is a prequel to a new series, so I can accept that we don't get every little detail on this new character. The author has a beautiful way of describing even the most morbid item. I found myself highlighting quite a few entries simply because of how eloquent they were in their darkness. While the side characters don't have a huge presence in this book there was just the right amount of intrigue laid down for them. I have an inkling as to who book one will feature, but I'll just have to be patient and see...

Wow what an intense read.
And I loved it . This book was raw edgy and dark .
Misfit is not a man you cross and live to tell about it. He takes no prisoners , he takes what he wants , his soul is darker then the knight and he has no regrets
Wearing four thousand dollar Amani suits and hair styled to perfection to a killing puts the soon to be dead bad guy into a false sense of security. But misfit is a wolf in sheep's clothing and pity help anyone who stands in his way.

Ivy is trying to look out for her brother who's mixed up in the wrong crowd , going to college living on noodles trying to save every penny she can so he can live a good life. Only to wake up in the hospital after being severely beaten and finding a man, a God like creature claiming he is her husband and she's going home with him. Misfit found Ivy in a alleyway almost dead for some strange reason he felt a pull to his cold dead heart , this wounded soul was his light in the dark never ending tunnel and he couldn't , wouldn't let her go. There's a MC club ,an assassin and a war going on but misfit will fight tooth and nail to save the woman he loves at any cost. I really enjoyed this book it's the first book I've read by this author and I hope there will be a second book as I really enjoyed this one.

Misfit is the introduction to a new MC series by R. Holmes. Although, this is set in a world that involves a MC gang, it's not a MC romance itself. This novel is labeled as a dark romance that has very few triggers in my opinion. If you are new to the dark side, then this is a good start to lead you in that direction.

This book was fast-paced, quick to the draw and filled with lust! I love all of those things, but I would've appreciated a little more history about our two main characters. Some of that comes in throughout the book, but it is not written in a subtle manner. I wanna be eased into it. The author describes Misfit as a very standoffish person who avoids physical touch at all costs. This had me intrigued as I like damaged heroes and Misfit fit that distinctive character. He's an assassin that accidentally finds a beaten and battered woman on the brink of death in a dark alley.

Poor Ivy has faced nothing but danger and some rough dirty sex. I wouldn't mind being in her shoes. Aside from being beaten and left for dead, of course. I'm not really sure why Misfit was so drawn to her and their relationship hit insta-love real quick. The author does write those sex scenes with great detail and I appreciate that SO MUCH! All in all, I give this romance 3.5 stars

Misfit by R Holmes was one of my anticipated reads this month and I wasnt disappointed at all. In fact, the author delivered an unputdownable, dark, bloody, and delicious story that will leave you craving more of this world and its characters. The instant connection between Ivy and Misfit was so intense and their chemistry was off the charts hot.

Misfit was the definition of an unapologetic, deadly antihero with an even filthier mouth.

"Born a misfit. Lost, broken, damaged. Weak. I took those flaws and turned them into something I could build an empire on. Now I’m ruthless, lawless . I can’t be touched."

I loved, loved, LOVED Ivy. Girl had some serious sass and was hella fierce and strong and compassionate. I loved that she gave as good as she got and how she got under his skin.

"Misfit may be a monster, he may be a ruthless, vicious killer. A villain. But none of it mattered. I wanted to be corrupted."
