Day turns to night and everyone's afraid to leave their sanctuary, and yet, something threatens it.
A standalone horror story shrouded in mystery, where the unexplainable happens and neighbors are forced to trust each other. A slow burn that'll chip your sanity away.
Just because you can't see anything there doesn't mean it's not dangerous.
Illustrated by the author himself, see a world that has been reduced to nothing but an oasis in the dark. What recourse do you have when then those you're supposed to trust turn their backs on you?
I'm not quite sure what to make of this story. It held my attention, but sort of just... ended. It has the feeling of being just a dream, yet the story assures us it's not. Judge for yourself.
It was a great start to a good story and had a very interesting plot, but it left me with so many more questions than answers. I know it was meant to be a short story, but it literally feels like it just stops and is incomplete. I would have loved at least a few more pages and more details about what was happening to the characters.
Was in the mood for a short story. While the scenario is compelling, the lack of any characters or any real dramatization of the situation other than a laundry list of happenings cheapened it somewhat. Still, the writer has potential and raw talent and should keep developing.
