19 chapters: Clean: delightful story. [4.5-stars] This story was such a delight. It made me smile the whole time. It was a story where D&E get to know each other early on and come together to solve problems and become more in love with each other.
Famous quote: YOU get a betrothal… YOU get a betrothal… and YOU get a betrothal! It seems like everyone was getting a betrothal. OK, I made that up or rather copied it shamelessly.
There were many couples that found love in this story. It all started when Elizabeth was a child and heard a sermon that opened her eyes to the needs of others and to invoke change in her own life. “… he spoke from the Bible and from his heart about brotherly love, of faith in action, and of works of service.” The words of that sermon changed her life, her perspective, and her attitude. That then started a cascade effect on those around her… and so on, and so on. The best way to describe it would be the ‘domino effect. It was amazing how the results of her actions and acts of kindness kept ricocheting back to her.

Elizabeth is saving Georgiana from drowning in a pond in Hyde Park while she is twelve years old, it’s her day’s act of kindness... and the beginning of a long lasting friendship!
Many more acts of kindness will follow and have a huge impact on the life of many... beginning in the Bennet family.
Highly recommend this story for all JAFF lovers.

November 7, 2021In this P&P variation a twelve year old Elizabeth is in London. One day while visiting Hyde Park she saves Georgiana from drowning in a pond in Hyde Park. That was her day's act of kindness and the start of a friendship that will change the future for Elizabeth and Darcy. These acts of kindness are also performed by her family. How will this change the Bennet family's future.
