The Chrome Gypsies MC is all Shane "Diesel" Malcolm had known since he was nineteen. Fighting, partying, and women is what he lived for. Nothing tied him down and he liked it that way. Until her. The new girl in town walked into his life out of nowhere and now he found himself wanting to be a one woman man. Madison Davis was looking for a fresh start for her and her son. Moving to the little tourist town of Boone, North Caroline should have made it easy to blend in. But the minute the sandy-haired, blue-eyed biker walked into the diner she worked at all bets were off. It could be the worst mistake of her life to take a chance with him, but she just can't seem to help herself.
First things first; I like the cover of this book! Diesel is book one in the ‘’chrome gypsies MC’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. Diesel is the first book of Starlyn James that I have read. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Diesel is the sergeant at arms in the chrome gypsies MC. He isn’t looking for love but that soon changes. Madison is a single mum and new to the small town. Having been burnt by love in the past, will she give it a second chance? The chemistry between Diesel and Madison is clear to see and I liked them together. I thought they were perfect for one another. I understood why Diesel did what he did but I liked that he realised the error of his ways. Madison came across as an amazing mother. Her strength when things got tough and horrific was clear to see. I loved that it was Judy that talked some sense into Diesel. I loved the bond Diesel had with Max. I really liked the ending scene I love how Madison comforted Diesel. I liked the ending of this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an entertaining read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.
I should have listed to another review when it said the story just ended because it did like what????? There was no conclusion nothing just 'The End' so while the story was ok and the plot had premise the fact it ended almost in the middle sucked. Not sure I will read another from this author.
While it was good, it really needed fleshed out more. I felt things needed to be expanded more, and not run three so quickly, just to get to the next scene. I felt this was a good start, but things needed to be spread out more and explained. Not glossed over.
Not bad but didn’t really have a proper ending. There were lots of bits not covered. Ie. Bad guys not caught and ending was very abrupt. Maybe it’s going to be a series but that should be explained

There are a few typos. The story has a good premise. But it literally just stops. It gets to a very intense point and that's it. Up to that point it was fairly good. But should let you know it's not a full story.
Quick read of real MC. But ends with so many questions unanswered. What happened to her baby’s father? Why does she keep moving from place to place? Who is the enemy and why?
