What a gift to read this story!
The book is written as a gift from the author to her granddaughter, the daughter of the author's adopted son. So there are many layers of gifts to this story.
First is the gift of a forever son to the author. Next is the gift of a forever mom to the son. And then the gift of love all around, both giving and receiving.
It's a heartwarming true story of how the boy and his mother chose each other and stayed together. A book like this is a way to help create the essential answers to the questions of: who am I...where did I come from...what is the story of my family? This author gave such a gift to her son and granddaughter. I look forward to updates to this family's story as time goes on.
It's a simply told, profound, and lovingly narrated story, wonderful for readers and listeners of all ages.
