Welcome to Silver Springs, Colorado and the Three Brothers Lodge. Justin Donnelly and his two younger brothers have turned their uncle’s outfitting and guide service into a profitable business.
Justin, the oldest, felt a responsibility to his brothers with the passing of their uncle. With their mother dead decades earlier, and no idea who any of their fathers were, they only had each other.
Jessica Andrews was running away from her messed-up life. The child of missionary parents, she blamed God for all of her trials and the losses she’d suffered throughout her life. Having abandoned God on all fronts, she’d tried to manage her own life, and after being duped by her supposed boyfriend of three plus years, she didn’t even believe she could trust in herself.
In a rash decision, she takes a job in a little Colorado mountain town, hoping to start again and put her past completely behind her. Silver Springs may be the place of her new beginning, but she’ll have to go through the fire and find forgiveness in her heart for herself and others before she can get there. And Justin is just the man to help see her through the ordeal.
Can Jessica overcome personal obstacles in order to find her happily-ever-after with Justin?

This was a very beautifully written book about how you may give up on God but how He never gives up on you! Sure, there were some mistakes (errors with names- Jeremy when it should have said Jason). I also found a spelling error (you're when it should have been your) but those should be easily put aside. I love reading about the power of redemption and of God's amazing grace. It's always great to be reminded to count your blessings, you may be pleasantly surprised when you have a lot to count! This is all coming from me, a person who is now disabled and mostly bedridden due to a botched surgery on my back. I struggle with debilitating migraines on a daily basis and I end up sleeping a majority of my days away. My family struggles from paycheck to paycheck because I can't even work and because I was a stay at home mom for so many years, I don't qualify for disability. I have also had more than my share of loss. My brother and 3 other loved ones killed themselves. I've had 4 friends that were brutality murdered. I went through a year where I lost a loved one every month, some within weeks of one another. I've always been a daddies girl and sadly, I lost him almost 5 years ago. I ached so badly and was so angry that my heart didn't stop when his did! How could the world keep going when mine had come to a complete, abrupt stop? I've had those times where I was very bitter with God and I blamed a lot of things on Him. Luckily, that was short lived and I've seen how God can use me and has used me in order to help those who need someone who can relate to their pain, to talk to. I have been able to counsel and lead people to God. Anyway, I hope that whoever is reading this review doesn't mind how I tied my life into this story. I think that's why I loved it so much.
Never in my life have I seen a book wrap up so quickly and with such a dissatisfying ending. I am in shock. Especially when Israel that I gave something like 20% done and it jumps into another story. There was so much that could have been done with this story and setting. What a disappointment.
This story was great from the start. Wondering in the dark not sure where to go next. This story is about redeeming love and how you never know when it will come along.
Way too much of religion. The girls lose faith in god and the new maybe boyfriend didnt want to stay with her if she didnt believe. All the seclude community are strong believer and want her to believe, try to incite her to go to church and judge her for not.
The story was sweet and enjoyable. Unfortunately, I found myself caught up in the name changes (more than once, one of the character's name went from Jason to Jacob) and others typos like "he" instead of "her". They were distracting and detracted from the story telling. I really liked the idea and although the transformation of one of the characters was unrealistic to me, I had to find out what happened with the other brothers so I had to continue reading the series with Mason.
Jessica was in this process of moving to Colorado to start over. After the death of her grandmother, and her failed relationship she decided she needed out of Arizona. What she didn't expect was snow in September. While trying to get to Silver Springs she ends up wrecking her truck. Justin and his brothers love in the mountains outside of Silver Springs and run a outfitting business, but they also do search & rescue so when they get the call about people not making it to certain points they go out. And Justin finds Jessica passed it from the accident. But something clicks with them.
This was really really clean. However, not very good. No christian man is going to be alone in a house with a woman- even inviting himself over. That would bring the appearance of evil. Also, they didn't really have a budding romance. They had instant attraction, their own stories, and then they're in love. The extent of describing the christmas-like scenery at his lodge was way over the top. Overall, yikes. I won't be reading the rest of the series. I cannot give less than 3 though, because it was so clean- and the people had real issues.
This is such a sweet story. I love that they are set in the Mountain communities. The way Morris writes these stories it's almost like being there. I was heartbroken when I found that in this book the characters and the town and state had changed because I fell in love with the town and all of the previous characters but I soon got into these characters and am already growing to love them. Morris is such an amazing author. I love the way he shows God's love through all of his stories.
Cute, light reading with a Biblical basis. Romance flourished in Justin's life when the new teacher came to town from Arizona and had no idea how to handle a snow storm! It might have happened in a time when so much hurt and disappointment fell on Jessica's shoulders!
This story is a gentle reminder that no matter what decisions we might make in life, God will always be there when you turn to Him. Justin knew this. He along with the other townspeople just needed to remind Jessica.
I liked this story. It was a full of God's love. We saw His presence in the life's of the people in this book. Jessica came to realize God was always there, she just needed to recognize His ways in her life.
I don't know if it's just because I had such a connection to a previously read book, or if I just am not in the mood for a novel such as this one- but I did not feel the pull to this novel that I normally do when I am reading a new novel. I will definitely have to try again later.
Justin: Christmas Holiday Romance 2019 is an uplifting novella. It speaks of letting go of the past and embracing the future, of forgiveness and hope. I liked these characters and want to read more about them.
Interesting story of three brothers. One brother found someone that he could consider his future. The three loved together and none were married. You will need to purchase the other books to get the end results.
While I enjoyed the story I found to me it ends abruptly. Jess has the breakthrough in her walk with God, but the part of the story with Justin doesn't have any closure.
Didn't realize this was a clean Christian romance. Not that that mad it a bad story or anything, I just prefer to not read Christian books for my own personal reasons. It was a nice romance though.
2 stars from the old school Goodreads scale of “it was ok”. 3 stars on a scale of free novellas (which this was, for me).
I downloaded this ebook in my early days of figuring out the free Amazon kindle downloads, when I was downloading pretty much everything. There were a lot of books by this author available for free so I decided to read this one to see if I should keep downloading his books, at least when they are free. I don’t think I will anytime soon.
Pros: Easy to read, not bored Clean, nothing raunchy Free No one in the book is perfect The humor of an Arizona girl moving in to the snow and all the naive stuff she thinks about cold weather and snow.
Cons When you only have 100 pages, to see some of them wasted on double exposition of the main characters, that makes me sad. The narrator tells the reader the same info that the main characters tell each other later Lack of depth and character development- hard to do in a novella, but I just didn’t care about the characters at the end. I was just excited to have another book towards my reading goal.
Jessica is running from her previous life. She goes from AZ to CO during the winter. Snow ends coming down hard and she is not prepared. Justin lives and works in Colorado. He ends up finding her during the storm. She and Justin are so cute together. At the beginning they have opposite views of God and where he is in their lives. Jessica goes through the struggles with that and comes out wonderfully in the end. Love this story and the characters in it.
