The beginning of this volume is great but after the sexy bits I got really confused. So many new characters introduced! It doesn't help that a lot of the men, aside from the mains, all look the same. They could be named "Short-haired Man #4" and I would probably remember that more readily than their actual names.

Still a good series though.

Este tomo ha sido...raro.
Ya no estoy tan enganchada como lo estaba los primeros tomos. Quizá se deba a que he vuelto a leer novela al mismo tiempo, no lo sé.
Los personajes principales me siguen gustando, aunque las nuevas apariciones me tienen un poco desconcertada. No sé si les puede considerar aliados o antagonistas. Además, tampoco sé si debido a ello el manga nos dejará con un final abierto.
Me quedan pocos tomos para terminar, a ver que nos encontramos

My reading comprehension with this series is kind of poor because there's so many characters that I kind of forget who is who and who's with who sometimes (especially with all the double-crossings and double-double-crossings) -- I think if I reread the series or watched the anime now I'd probably get it more, but right now I'm kind of just coasting. Doesn't mean I'm not having a good time, though! I still am!

Starts out immediately after volume 10 which means steam steam steam. I'm not quite sure what happened the rest of the volume. I like Ushio's character but I might have to do a reread to remind myself of who these people are.

Lots of detail concerning character development in this volume. (Warning: mature sexual content.) The plot has been muddied a bit by shifting political manipulation. There are so many characters involved in this series that it is difficult to give depth to each of them and still move the plot forward. So, this might be considered more of a "bridge" to shift to a new plot arc.

Yuuki and Taira practice safe Human/Devil sex. Bit awkward, but I applaud the fact that consent is given throughout the whole thing. Good communication is key.

Anyway, Yuuki gets a new job at East Bay security. Hans Lee gets picked up by Queen to be poster boy for the devil rights pushback. Seven and Nine reunite with Six and Eleven. And Taira gets more involved with Kaname the politician. Not much happens, it's kinda boring, but it seems to be leading up to more action.

Also there's a surprising amount of LGBTQ+ representation in this series. I haven't mentioned it before, but it really stood out in this one. Kaname is a lesbian, Kagisaki is gay, Makimura (Six) is some form of asexual, Oryo is transgender, I think Queen is gender queer, and Kikuhara is aromantic. And there's probably more that I missed because the rainbow is extremely nuanced.

This series has 14 volumes.

Things started off nice and spicyyyyy.

And then got political really fast. F Squad and Co are finally coming back together after being split in so many directions. I'm not having trouble keeping track of characters like I've seen some people comment, but I'm also not forced to wait for the next volume to come out like they probably were. Keeping track of what the agendas are is more difficult, as much of that is still unclear and ever-changing. Plus, if a villain or antagonist has a really skewed way of looking at a situation (like what appears to be happening here), it's not going to be the average person's way of looking at things, making determining that agenda more difficult.

While I haven't had that trouble keeping track of characters, there are a number of them with the same names. I know it's more realistic for some characters to have the same given name or surname, but Makimura's first name is Takeshi and now there's a Takeshi in Yuuki's Security squad. Zero Four was Nakamura, which is the same as the sweet train conductor from the bonus story early on. It's bad enough that Zero Seven (Kenichi), who Zero Nine/Nanako is close to, shares a name with Nanako's step-dad who caused all of her trauma. Weird choice.

Sawazaki and Asami greeting Makimura was so precious.

I feel bad for Kagasaki, falling for shitbag Ushio.

I wish Lee had had some semblance of contact or support with/from the rest of the crew when everyone was separated. Now he's wrapped up in Queen's bullshit. And, at least some of the former crew know of Shirase's involvement, but Tsukasa hasn't been let in on that, so she's off meeting with Shirase all the time. With only three volumes left, I'm honestly just tired of the drip-fed info. I'm hoping all of the agendas, plots, etc., are exposed in this next volume so that the last two can focus on actually dealing with them, and more on Tsukasa and Yuuki. I really don't want three more volumes of "who's pulling the strings?!" and botched attempts to figure shit out. It was a perfectly suitable plot progression earlier, but it's tired now.

This was definitely not a hold your hand kind of volume. It was a little uneasy to follow at times but it was thoroughly good overall. There was quite a bit in it that I had been waiting for even since volume 1, and other things I’d been waiting for not quite as long but still for some time regardless, including though not limited to Ushio’s past and what sort of person he is. I found his mini-arc interesting enough, including involving his partner, who never really mattered to him either way, nobody but himself did.
I also liked seeing how Jill has moved forward and is shaping her future. She’s regained her strength and bounced back, she’s just still a tiny bit unsteady. Though her image would say otherwise. Funny that now Sawazaki is finally coming to terms with his feelings for her. Though, Makimura is sort of mulling over his feelings for Eleven even more too. They’ve certainly grown and remained close. Speaking of relationships like that, Nine and Nanako have finally reunited though things seem a tiny bit tense or awkward now that Nine is finally developing a man’s body. Perhaps Nanako may be able to pine for someone other than Kikuhara, in a romantic kind of way.
And… the Diet Member… and Queen… and others too… just what is going on..? I feel like I should know, I feel like I almost do know, but… I just don’t. On top of that, East Bay Security… I don’t trust them. All of the devils get laid off and suddenly East Bay is here to scoop everyone up? Someone high up has an agenda. That’s a highly unnatural circumstance unless someone at the top of the company or even higher has hidden motive or agenda. And I feel like Lee’s movement could easily, so easily go awry for many, including himself. But perhaps not. I guess we’ll see, won’t we?

Devils' Line, Vol. 11 is absolute perfection. The emotional intensity, the action, the character development—it all comes together so beautifully in this volume. The story is reaching its climax, and you can feel the weight of everything Anzai, Tsukasa, and the rest of the cast have been fighting for. Anzai’s growth is next level here, as he fully steps into his own while still grappling with his identity and what it means to be a devil in a world that fears him. Tsukasa, as always, is the heart of this series, and her unwavering strength and love for Anzai make every moment between them feel so earned.

The action is brutal, the tension is through the roof, and the stakes have never been higher. But what really makes this volume shine is the emotional depth. The relationships, the sacrifices, the raw moments between characters—it all hits so hard. And the artwork? Absolutely stunning, capturing every ounce of emotion perfectly. This volume is proof that Devils' Line is one of the best supernatural thrillers out there. Five stars—this series keeps delivering, and I cannot wait to see how it all wraps up!

First off the continuation from where we left off in the last volume was HOT!!! I had to take a moment after reading/seeing that shit because even though it wasn’t like fully explicit or some mature ass scene it still got me. I felt embarrassed and flushed just reading that shit. It was still wholesome like their relationship has been but sexy at the same time. Definitely didn’t see that coming honestly. Then their cute little blushes when he says they should borrow that device again!!!!!! Seeing sevens memories is also just so heartbreaking. Like I’m still a little confused on what’s going on with her background but both options in my head still are sad either way. Also I’m glad Lee is back but they made him so ugly for his silver look with queen and I just hate it. Can we also talk about Jills make over she gave herself. Girl is thriving even if it’s not with my man. Then to find out from the extra chapter that that one police officer does actually kind of have a thing for his psycho ex partner UGH. But I did feel bad when I didn’t realize he was a devil I honestly probably overlooked it earlier on while being obsessed over anzai. This author is killing men with all this random little information making me love it all though. I’m so excited and dreading this next installment. I’m ready to continue but we are getting closer and closer to the end.

"That's quite an amazing thing to say..."

Sometimes accepting that you cannot control every aspect of something can be a powerful experience, as shown at the beginning of this volume. ​Hanada continues to show character depth as we see characters growing and expanding into themselves as they begin to explore vulnerabilities they haven't given voice to in the past. ​We get to see how each character is working towards their personal development (or lack thereof for some) and what they have been doing since the group split. Enemies are beginning to take clearer shape and threats are looming closer and closer for Anzai and Tsukasa. I cannot wait to see how this is going to play out!

Revisiting the manga after 5ish(?) years. Every thing about it is right up my alley. Supernatural-esque, “bad boy”/“dark” type male character, a bit of romance, a bit of violence.

Love, love, love the spice - hoping for more 🤞🏻🤞🏻 Still sad about the team being split up but I enjoyed seeing them come back together. I have a lot of questions with everyone’s motives. It feels like there are so many twists and double agents and big players involved that I’m almost overwhelmed with where to focus but I feel like they do a good job with focusing on one area just long enough to help shift it and help my understanding.

I waited so long to read this, and even after Re-reading vol 1-10 before hand (boy I had forgotten a lot!), this one felt very text-heavy and confusing. I’ll probably have to re-read the whole thing again. Part of the problem is this volume really starts to expand with more characters getting their own chapters and new ones being introduced and the “real” purpose of the CCC being revealed... anyway I’ll go on and read 12 but this didn’t blow me away the way the first 10 volumes did.

I liked reading Anzai and Tsukasa's part in this volume but it's a bit hard to keep up with so many characters to keep track of. Some even look the same. I feel the series has lost its way a bit with the introduction of so many characters. This volume wasn't bad. Hopefully, the next volume will be better.

Estos últimos capítulos me han estado lastimando, más que nada por Jill, Lee e incluso por Yuu Kagasaki (que apenas acabo de darme cuenta que existe). Son historias bastante reales y que no funcionan, a veces es solamente asi.
Muchos de los problemas que hay son por falta de comunicación, a excepción de Lee; a él lo estan usando y no se da cuenta.
