A thick, information-packed book about castles. The information and detail throughout the text can be overwhelming. Readers with a fascination of castles should appreciate this text. Great examples of text structures: contents, glossary, captions, and index. The text includes websites throughout to provide more detail on the topics.

Another great resource from Usborne. Colorful and interesting for kids, but packed with enough information to be helpful to adults looking for some basic knowledge in this area. This book covers everything from where to build a castle to how the feudal system worked.
