Hurricanes and Homicide is Book Seven of the Sapphire Beach Cozy Mystery Series.
Sun-drenched Florida beaches. A Fair Trade jewelry shop owner. A mystery that will keep you guessing.
A hurricane has Connie and her neighbors hunkered down in Palm Paradise waiting out the storm. However, when a neighbor is murdered, Connie discovers that the storm might not be the only danger they are facing.
If you enjoy cozy mysteries that keep you on the edge of your seat, loveable characters and palm trees swaying in the breeze, you’ll love the Sapphire Beach Cozy Mystery Series.
Angela K. Ryan is the author of the Sapphire Beach Cozy Mystery Series, the Seaside Ice Cream Shop Mysteries, and the Cape Cod Cozy Mysteries. She writes clean, feel-good cozies for readers who love humor, lots of twists and turns, and happy-dance endings.
When she is not writing, Angela enjoys the outdoors, especially kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, snowshoeing, and skiing. She lives in Massachusetts and loves all four of the New England seasons, but she looks forward to regular escapes to the white, sandy beaches of southwest Florida, where her mother resides.
It is fitting that Angela’s series take place in fictitious seaside towns in Massachusetts and Florida. These small towns would be idyllic if it weren’t for all the bodies that keep turning up!
Angela dreams of one day owning a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel like the sweet pup in her Sapphire Beach Series, but she isn’t home enough to take care of one. So, for now, lives vicariously through one of her main characters, Connie.
This is a 7 th book in the serie and it takes place during hurricane in Sapphire Beach in Florida. The book is rather short, but well written and engaging. I did not guess who the killer revealed in the end was. It was good twist in the end. I am looking forward to read next book in the serie.
Such an amazing book! The storm wasn’t the only thing keeping me on the edge of my seat. I couldn’t put it down till the end. Was very surprised to find out the killer turned out to be. This book was wonderful from beginning to the end. So many happy changes to come for Connie and Ruby. Very glad about Stephanie and Gallagher. They make a cute couple. Looking forward to seeing them joining Connie, Zach, Elyse and Josh on future adventures.
