Kelly was so in love with JC that she just couldn't shoot him in the head…So, she shot him right next to his heart; not trying to kill him, like her husband Marvin wanted. That was the biggest mistake of her life, because now JC is pissed at everyone and this time there will be no talking, just bullets flying.
JC’s burning anger had time to smolder, as he did his time as a convict in prison after being abandoned by his homeboys, just when he needed them most. Instead of celebrating his freedom when he got released from jail, JC quickly discovered that Merido is Kelly's stepdad and he was set up from the start. JC sends Kelly a very deep message and disappears from Pontiac, Michigan, promising he would see her soon.
When he returns, it will be time for revenge and retribution… and a series of thug murders, robberies and paybacks will be justified, when JC evens the score.
Women Lie, Men Lie 2 is a gritty crime drama set on the unforgiving streets of Pontiac and Detroit, Michigan. If you like edgy dark characters, sexy hood love and fast-paced street justice, you’ll love A. Roy Milligan’s action-packed crime thriller.
I thought book one was a page turner. I started and finished book 2 today. I can not believe the way the story unfolds in book 2. I was very happy for JC and Britt when they hooked up and even more happy to find out that they were having a baby. I couldn't believe JC killed Kelly's brother and family. I was so afraid that Mike was going to give JC up to Cradle. I was so relieved when he robbed them instead. The true action didn't start until Merido called in his mafia friends and sent them to Mike's house and JCs house. The real kicker is Gloria picking up JC and Merido and Kelly standing at the front gate when they arrived at her house. This is a must read, I wish I could give it 10 stars. Every bit of this book felt like a movie!!! Reading this book I could see it all pop off so clearly. Can't wait to start book 3.
How about this books get better and better by each page JC just can't catch a break. For some reason drama always follows him. But the betrayals that happens I'm thinking it's just Karma. He doesn't care who be kills or for whatever reason. I couldn't stop reading this book or putting it down. On to the next one.
Great Read!!!! Couldn’t put this one down either. Another one that had me on my toes and ready to see what happens next. The characters have became my friends and my foes. I definitely recommend this series!!!! Ready for part 3
This book just keeps getting better. JC is out for revenge and blood as no one is safe once he seeks out everyone who has done him wrong. Just when he thinks things are going great with Britt by his side, there's someone else seeking to get at him. One thing I can say is that JC is a fighter and has the mentality of he will get you first before he's taken out no matter what it takes. No one is exempt from his wrath. Never trust a big butt and a smile but that seems to have clouded JC's judgment on his last getaway with Gloria because it seems she is another player in the quest to bring him down. What will happen now that JC has just arrived to the scene where his major enemies are? Can't wait to read how things end for JC in part 3.
This book is really something else. I'm not going to say much at rhis time because I forgot a couple of people's names 😅. But I do know I was cheering for Mike and didn't want him to die. I also wanted to see what the meeting would have been like for JC and Vanessa his ma. I want JC to come out on top with his girl.
This was much better than the first! It ties things together! I’m not too much a fan of all the killings, some crazy lunatics in here! But HC can’t seem to get a successful break! Still live him though no matter what! Can’t wait to see the finale!
Lord JC is tooooooo much! Good grief everyone just joking everyone mannnn all this madness money and mayhem..ok so what happened to Kelly being pregnant for JC???? On to book 3
What is J.C. thinking. He is not going get away with none of his actions. He has lost his mind and common morals. The women in life are super naive or just want to feel good.
JC Was A Menace To Society B4 And After He Got His Freedom Back, He Was On Some Trash Right From The Beginning Due To Facebook....He Was A Pimp B4 He Really Knew Exactly What He Was Doing..... SMH 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
Reading this book was like eating a bag of chips. Not the best quality, not the most substantial, but definitely very addicting and I want to read the next one.
This was a quick read. A love story, murder, and drugs. The twist and turns of this story wasn't as predictable as I find with most stories. JC is stepping into some new and different territory.
Good reading an urban fiction with characters that are with flaws because no one is perfect. And the main character Jason Cakes aka JC certainly is not innocent but his back story reveals why he isn't.
I've now read all 3 and they just got worse. Its unbelievable how much trouble JC gets into; how many women he has gritty detailed raunchy sex with and how many people he kills. Plus, Book 3 is badly edited. Read them if you like details of every sexual move people can make; if not, stay away.
