Helpful guide to implementing the whole school learning and teaching policy, based on Rosenshine methodology.
This school has a high proportion of students from challenging backgrounds. This approach establishes routine in the classroom or learning space whatever the subject taught. Key emphasis on reuse and recycle in every lesson. It makes use of knowledge organisers, which are going through something of a torrid time in teaching circles as to their usefulness vs. time taken to prepare them and enabling the student to recall and retain information effectively.
