Avery is in medical school. Always a studious workaholic, Avery is meeting up with his high school friend clique that he has not seen in several years.
His best friend is Daxton, who has become an electrician and is doing well for himself. Very handsome, with a confident swagger.
Now Avery is staying in town for part of the summer.
Impossible mutual attraction—or is it?
Descriptive detail is quite strong, and the action is good—as always with this author.
Avery is very obviously gay, though, so the whole setup is super flimsy.
Saliva for lube on a virgin? Okay, buddy. 🤕 🙄
Whether Daxton is also fully gay or is just slightly into girls...the foundation is asinine.
The ending is actually alright, but overall this is still insufficient. Too many grody I’m so straight refrains, for way too much of the story. He does get the Discovery portion (sort of), but this is missing the Gay Awakening and Gay Realization needed to come full circle.
