Not bad but felt a little rushed at times while also somehow feeling drawn out at the same time. The story moved pretty quick but the romance was too slow I think. And even though we eventually came to understand Ava's motives for not getting help about her stalker the entire beginning was increasingly frustrating having to watch her do nothing. There wasn't even a hint that there was an actual reason behind her inactivity so it just made it confusing why she wasn't getting help or doing more than hiding.

The second book in this series is actually the one that caught my eye first so I'm still going to give that one a try.

I enjoyed it. I read almost the entire book in one sitting. It was a perfect combination of obsession and temptation, friendship and romance, self-reliance, and trust. Now I look forward to Sarah's next book.

Sorry, not for me

Not sure why but about 32% in I decided to skim the rest. I couldn't connect in any way to the characters. We jump right in to her issues but we don't get much of a back story. And it's way at the end that we find out some important information. Nor the way to get it into the story, sorry. I won't be continuing with this series and probably will avoid this author.

Enjoyable.

This is my first book by this author. Liked not knowing why Ava wouldn’t get a restraining order. Liked how quickly Devin falls for her. But the book felt like it was stretched out too much. Liked the way the plot twists out but felt like the ending just ended too abruptly. It’s worth reading.

Once I started reading this book, I refused to put it down! The characters in the story are well developed but my favorite of this book is the twists! I won’t put spoilers here but you got to read this book! Amazing work, will be following this author for more!
