Unlike many of his friends, Warlord Matrix of Gunninng is eager to find his future mate amongst the human volunteers arriving to the mining world of Djaromir. Despite his enthusiasm at finding a mate, old fears return that he cannot shake. His scar has repulsed females in the past, even when they’d been paid to hide their reaction, filling the normally brash warlord with more doubt than he cared to admit. What if his mate did the same?

Finding himself inexplicably drawn to a fiery beauty named Rue, he can't resist the mating call despite his insecurities. '

Trix knew it would take a special female to accept a mate with a scarred face like his, but he never expected her to be so... spicy.

Veruca Salazar, aka Rue, had gotten herself into quite a pickle. Signing up for the volunteer program that the Djaromir advertised seemed like an easy way to make some cash. A short vacation on a planet filled with buff eye candy and then to Earth with a big fat check. Sure, there were whispers of some sort of crazy Djaromir “mating pull,” but Rue figured that was just nonsense sprouted by the muscle-bound Neanderthal Warlords. None of that was actually real.

Until her best friend proves her wrong by succumbing to the Djaromir mating heat herself.

Now, Rue has a choice to make. Find a mate of her own and stay on Djaromir, or venture home alone, without her closest—and only—friend in the world.

**Although Matrix is Book 3 of the Miners of Djaromir series, ALL books in the series can be read as standalones! Please be aware that this book contains some scenes from previous books in the series from, but told from alternate points-of-view from Matrix and Rue.**

Leora is a former snake milker that now enjoys the okayest job of balancing motherhood and writing contemporary romance. *Some with a sci fi twist*

A sucker for dirty talk, both the sexy kind and the type that leads to the discovery of new curse words, Leora catches all the craziness in her head on the cracked screen of her laptop. Squeezed into a small workspace in her Florida garage, this author uses her imagination *and cannabis* to explore the worlds she has created.

Her work has been praised extensively by her mother—who pinky promised to read the sexy parts with her eyes closed—and ignored by the rest of her family. Some critics have made compelling statements about her work such as “foul mouthed woman” and “nothing more than porn”. When asked for a comment regarding those reviews, the author’s answer was, “f$&% yeah!” with an enthusiastic nod and accompanying finger guns shooting in the air.

Check her out at LeoraGonzales.com or on social media for updates, new releases and random little weirds she overshares when she’s bored.

1.0🌟

I am so disappointed in this third book of the Miners of Djaromir series. Essentially, Matrix comprises two sections. The first half of the book is a very poorly executed reiteration of some of the events that occurred in Book Two, Sparx. Anyone who hasn’t read the previous book will be confused and any questions will remain unanswered. To the exclusion of almost everything else, the second half of the book dealt with the mating heat between Matrix and Rue—in other words, lots of sex. That’s it. Seriously, this epitomizes the entire book. To worsen matters, there is a cliffhanger of sorts dangled before us.☹️

The previous books in this series were full of dangerous situations, more romance, more action, more character development, AND engaging stories! Given the personalities of alpha male, Matrix and fiery, opinionated alpha human woman, Rue as they are portrayed in K’hor and Sparx, I expected a great story; instead this book bombed in my estimation. Several editing issues that cropped up did this book no favors. Perhaps if there is a book four, it will be a more satisfying addition to the series.

As usual, Leora has written another banger! These insta-love, soul mate, and fated mate, with extra doses of extra hot spice, are just fantastic.

Rue is tough as nails, and she falls (eventually) for tough as nails Matrix. Why can't real-life men be this obsessive about me? I would choose Matrix as my book boyfriend any day.

Nothing happens in this book. They talk, they mate but that's it.. nothing really happens. I didn't read previous books but I don't think I missed anything, first part of the book was filled with plah plah plah and second half of the book was just porn.

O.K.

The heroine and hero don't meet until half way thru the book! Nice strong characters, just too much story set up that's a basic repeat from book one.

Warlord Matrix

I laughed a lot with and at the outrageous character Veruca. Her best friend Lucy but the mating dust with Warlord Sparx and then she meets Matrix.

I typically love these stories because Earth sucks right now and I'd rather be almost anywhere else.. but I had a hard time getting into this one with Rue and Matrix. There's insta-love, fated mates, and spice, but it felt like it lacked substance compared to it's predecessors in the series.

Matrix and Rue

I knew that this would be good. I loved Rue when we met her in the previous book, Sparx. I've been waiting for Matrix to find his mate and boy did he. What a fun couple.

So, there is someone in this book that I like even less than when we met her in the last book. I want to feel bad for her but I just don't.

Is Jamie next? I like her.
