All it took was a little fire for him to light my heart. Ellie It was closed before, to everything but my career, I was a journalist. Now all I could write was little love notes in my mind to him. What has he done to me? Andy Ever since I carried her out of that burning apartment. A passion’s been burning in me. But I’d swore I would never start a relationship, not when my job was so dangerous. I swore I’d never fall in love. As if I have any say in what my heart wants. This is a sweet read with a steamy-as-hell climax. Each story is standalone, with no cliffhangers and a HEA guaranteed. Winning curves is all about feisty curvy girls who get what they need, eventually.

Ellie knew the dangers she was putting herself in the night that she lit some candles with her car Sam around so when he knocked one over and nearly destroyed the apartment they lived in shouldn’t have come as much of a shock. But the fireman that saved her was, when he carried her out of the building and then went back in for Sam. She thought that they had a connection but when he discovered she was the one to cause the fire he ruined the moment. But she has his number so decides they could have one more chance only for the trust she out in him to be destroyed, will they get another chance or is it time to let this go?
Andy fell for the girl he carried out of a building straight away, she was perfect in every way that is until he discovered she was the reason they were called out in the first place. She walked away and he can’t blame her, it’s days later and she’s still on his mind so when she calls he jumps at the chance of spending time with her and even introduces her to his colleagues. But the night ends in disaster when he meets an old flame and she discovers that he never wanted a relationship or a family, has he really lost his chance at love or should he give it one more shot?
Really enjoyable read and this is a new author for me lots of potential in the writing, didnt always feel the connection between the main characters but the author caught me put on one thing. Would love to see Charlotte get her own story too. 3.8* read.
Nice story line. Ellie swears she never falls asleep after she lights the candles to read a book while her car wonders around the apartment. Andy knows different. Which is why he is carrying her down six flights of stairs to safety. She wants to write an article about Andy saving her cat. With her confession of knowing she was wrong , an argument underway of carelessness. The attraction is there definitely. But will Andy, the very experienced firefighter accept her apology? What adventures are for Andy and Ellie? No cliffhanger

3.5 Stars First things first; I like the cover of this book. Fiery is book two in the ‘’winning curves’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and a nice read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline entertaining. When Ellie ends up in a fire, it is fire man Andy that comes to her rescue. With them both being attracted to one another will they give love a chance? I did see some chemistry between Ellie and Andy but I would have liked a little more. I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.
Ellie liked to read her books by candlelight. It seems that she fell asleep and her cat Sam tied a candle over and it started a small fire. Andy was one of the firemen that saved her life and put the fire out in her kitchen but lit another fire in Ellie. Andy who thought he'd never settle down found the love of his life with Ellie. This was such a sweet, cute, steamy short read. Loved the character .Another great addition from Bella Wright. I received an ARC copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
