I received a copy of this book in return for my honest review of it.
So I am a huge fan of paranormal romance books, doesn't matter to me if it is a young adult one or not I just cant get enough of the genre. This book certainly gets added straight to my top books in this genre. This book was very cleverly written, and certainly got me hooked into it, the imagination gets taken on a wild journey imagining the Celestials and the world that Lisa has created. I think this book would suite any age, it has lots of different aspects which make it something new to read and not just a typical paranormal romance book that just follows the lines from everyone else. I certainly look forward to reading more from this series!
I'm a sucker for strong female protagonists. I especially love the concept of good vs evil with a twist!
This book sucked me in from the very first page. I really enjoyed reading it, even though it's written for a slightly younger audience than me (what can I say?? We all wish we were back in our teen years sometimes)
I especially liked the concept of a new celestial being.
I was offered to read this book in exchange for an honest review. This is a great original story of half human and half angelic beings called Celestials. I really enjoyed the authors take on Michael and Adem and their struggle between good and evil. I love how the author describes that in order for there to be good there has to be a balance of evil. I can relate to this belief because it’s similar to the yin yang, which I truly believe in. I loved almost all the characters and liked that Lili is Mexican and Nora is a lesbian. The entire story is appropriate for even young teens and any violence is really minimal and not too detailed. The story itself flows really well and it grasper my interest quite early on and held it to the very last page. The cliffhanger at the end makes me eager for the next edition in this series.
