Monster girls, vampire sorcerers, and dungeon cores to discover! Athanasios is forced to work in a glorified arcade until he receives an invitation in his mailbox to try a new game. Instead of an exciting and great new adventure, he is tricked and transferred to a world where goblins plague the villages, dragons tear down cities, and adventurers try to loot dungeons. Trying to find a way out, he’s turned into a Vampire Sorcerer. Condemned into a lifetime of trouble, Athanasios is dragged into a war with vampire slayers, ghoul infested dungeons, and wizards from all over the continent. Fortunately, he attracts the company of a bloodthirsty vampiress, a seductive ragdoll, and a nerdy wizard girl to help him in his quest. Vampire Sorcerer is a fantasy LitRPG inspired by vampire games and novels such as "Castlevania" and "Vampire Hunter D." The novel contains LitRPG, ISEKAI and Light Novel elements, adult situations with monster girls, graphic violence, mind blowing scenes, a lustful vampire and sizzling hot wizards. Join the adventure as Athanasios goes from being little more than a pet to overpowered in his journey to become the ultimate Vampire Sorcerer. More illustrations than ever! Edited, proofed, and probably still some errors. We are constantly working to better our story and thank you for sticking with us.
I will say this as many times as it takes. Any and every book needs a good story with plausible writing. I am tired with authors who think harem books can just be phones in and make no attempt at realistic actions from the characters. It comes out as complete garbage.
I wouldn't say I've ever read a gamer type LPG book before (some books talk about leveling up and exp but....) I really enjoyed this, I think it helps it reminded me of platform games I played as a child.
I struggle to finish this book for three days.I would read it, get frustrated with some thing, put it down saying I was done, and then remind myself that I needed to suck it up and just finished the darn thing. The first issue with this book is grammar and proofreading. From the first page it’s obvious that there was no professional proofreading done for this. Secondly characters are not well written. They have potential but they are very 2D. Where do you have some characters that are well-rounded and engaging such as Marvel or DC these characters were more of the kind you find in an old newspaper: cliché and slightly boring. The plot in and of itself is interesting though and you yourself wonder if the main character is in the real world or has gone through a video game version of inception where it’s a game with an a game.I feel sad though giving this a one star because it did have potential to be so much more if it had been proofread, had professional editing done, and it had gone through more rounds of work. Who knows if I will read the next one but right now I am not optimistic.
Wow, the MC is an absolute doormat, almost quite literally. Well if he even is the MC, he is more like a support character. He is referred as toy, pet, and a bunch of other similar names. Think Japanese typical MC and I have his personality.
Our hero complains about his job, so they give him a new one as a character in a video game. Of course, he is the bad guy so everyone is out to get him, but the job does come with a few perks.
This is a fantasy story with a harem and some litRPG elements. The writing is okay, but it could use a bit of polish from a good editor. The gaming elements are not well described, but they are also light so that works for me. As for the characters, I found the hero to be totally lackluster, but the harem girls were fun and sometimes smarter than the hero. There is a good deal of steamy material with the harem, which is is certainly entertaining. There were also some illustrations throughout the book, which was a nice bonus. Overall, it was an enjoyable light read.
Recommended.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout for review purposes
** Received an ARC copy - however, I've reviewed this book of my own will **
So Tl:dr - If you're a fan of harem fantasy [Jaime Hawke, Eric Vall, etc], Gaming Isekai and vividly described erotic scenes, definitely give this a read!
The story gets into the meat of things fairly quickly and remains fast-paced. Itsios's implementation of the interior art is a very nice touch. It gives the book more of a Light Novel feel and I really hope he keeps that going forward with his other books. There were a few grammatical blips but not enough to take away from the action going on. Pretty much hit every button that I look for in harem fantasy 👍🏽
If you enjoy Itsios's way of writing, go on and grab this baby on Amazon! Was a fun and short read!
I have to mark this as DNF. I made it half way through and just.... It didn't work for me. This is supposed to be set in a world where humans are uploaded to a server farm and their bodies destroyed, so everything they know is a game world. And yet when he is sent to the "real world" its all vampires in a new game, he just can't log out.
Don't get me wrong, I love a good vampire novel, but this one just didn't work for me. I'm sure someone else will love it. I stayed with it hoping for some more explication as to what was going on but I kept getting more and more questions without any answers, and some of the choices were... Strange to me. So I just set it aside.
I found this book pretty entertaining, the MC isn't all powerful and OP. His companions are pretty likeable though Ambrosia does start to become a bit insufferable towards the very end, though that's what her character is supposed to be like. There is quite a lot of spelling errors and missing words which does distract a bit from the story. Overall if you're into erotic harem stories this one's pretty good.
I thought Vampire Sorcerer was an epic success, I was thoroughly entertained in this monster girl, dungeon core, isekai Litrpg/Gamelit gem. I laughed, cried, cheered...cursed ....cursed a lot. Stephen Landry has a gift for authentic genuine characters, creative ideas, reinvents tropes into his own style, Scifimonium. D&D style fantasy adventure that thrills and chills to the chilled bones from an Eldritch blast...this book was epic and totally delivered in the joy department
This was just really fun. It captured the essence of an rpg game so well, especially in battle and in the interaction with the world. Chatacters could have been better but I really love Ambrossia. This was so fun and so easy to picture in my head. I wish it had more exposure to the right community because I know there's plenty of people who would like it.
Alex has delivered another tantalizing installment to the Hades Online series. He does not fail to deliver on this volume. It’s just as hot and vibrant as his others.
