Christopher Morley, a journalist, essayist, and poet, also produced on stage for a few years and gave college lectures.

A lovely book of short essays that can be read while you smoke a pipe. If you do not smoke, like me, then I would recommend reading one or two before bed. The prose flows, humour abounds and it always gives you something to think about after you've put it down. Wishing it were longer.
