A thrilling, fast-paced read that doesn't allow you to draw breath. Another testament to the fact that Alan Gorevan may well be the master of Irish crime fiction. I particularly enjoyed how well he explored the characters and their motivations in this story (not an easy thing to do when you're writing a short story). It's no secret that Gorevan is a supremely talented writer and this story simply cements his reputation further. I'd definitely recommend it!
