Beautiful hobby
Macrame appeals to me as a relatively i expensive hobby; however, I am completely new to the hobby. This book starts at the very beginning with the history of macrame and its basic principles. I liked that the projects were not just plant hangers, but include jewelry and wall hanging art pieces. I also.liked that there were so.many pictures included. I could follow along with how to make the different knots and the pictures really helped.

It is back!
Madame is making a comeback. This decorating hobby was not in the 60's and 70's and is now returning.This book will walk you thru the hobby and teach you how to make useful plant hangers or decorative wall hangings all by thing knots. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to start a new hobby or learn to do Madame for giving or decorating.

These are so cool!
These are so cool. I'm not crafty and these always looked so difficult and intricate but this is a great beginners guide. Offers all the information and illustrations needed to get started and world from easy to progressively harder. Looking forward to trying these out and making something myself, especially being stuck at home.

Great information on macrame for beginners. It was easy to understand. There are pictures throughout the book, which really help in understanding how to tie the yarn. Plenty of project ideas to practice on!

Loving macrame
I am just loving macrame and this book was so interesting. It provided step by step instructions and pictures so i could check to make sure the knots were correct. The hat pattern is adorable!

Significant details are given on adding beading and knots. The spacing on some of the pages is way off. The pictures showing mist essential knots are blurry.

This book has lots of great information to get you started with macrame. I think it could use a few more pictures to accompany their descriptions.

A beautiful book
A beautiful book about a vintage type of artwork. I hadn't done this since the 70s. The stories and illustrations caught my imagination enough to make me want to give it a try again.
