Stella Stone is part of the founding family who built the town she loves so dearly but no place more than their little coffee shop for which her parents have made her a manager. But things start to go down hill for her quickly when a new chain of coffee shops arrive and the business she’s always loved is starting to fail. Stella decides she’s going to do something about it and promptly makes her way to the office of Cash Drexel. She’s there to ask him to back off but once she walks through that door little dies she know she’s about to meet her match in more ways than one. Could this chemistry be being felt by them both or is he just a player?
Cash Drexel is a successful business man and is trying to concentrate on a billion dollar deal he is meant to be closing on the next day when a blonde firecracker arrives at his door trying to appeal to his better side. One look and he’s intrigued by the woman currently trying to convince him to leave her family business alone, one conversation and he wants her as his but when she marches out of his office there is no way she’s escaping that easily he is used to getting what he wants and he’s determined that she will be his and all of a sudden a man who has never wanted a woman for more than a night wants a life where she’s apart of it everyday. Could this playboy really be ready to settle down?
I have loved each book in this series and this was no different. Stella was feisty and determined to stand up for her business and Cash was a cocky arrogant alpha that recognised his perfect match. Short, steamy and uplifting elevator ride of your dreams read. 4.5* read.
First things first; I love the cover of this book! Going down is the fourth book in the ‘’insta love hearts’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Stella Stone’s family have been a huge part of their small town for generations. When a new businessman opens a rival business, Stella is determined to talk to him. Cash wants Stella as soon as he meets her. The chemistry between Stella and Cash is clear to see and I liked them together. I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.
This is an insta love romance and exactly what I was looking for. This story is engaging and beautiful. Stella is sweet, smart, funny, and beautiful. Cash is charming, rich, smart, and handsome. When they meet sparks fly. I will not spoil the book! The writing was done beautifully and flows throughout the book. It was easy to learn the authors writing. Amazing work Ally Crew and Brynn Hale!
Simple, but very good. 4.5 Sometimes it's in the simplicity that we have a good time and that's what I felt: it's a short romance, very hot, which in a few pages manages to draw characters whose we can accept their fast attraction in spite of their antagonism (well especially the prejudices and the reproaches of the heroine Stella, towards Cash who does not know her). Everything here is cohesive and addicting from the basics: Stella's family has been developing for hundreds of years, the city she lives in and her coffee shop is starting to lose customers because a new cafe opened. To defend her town and her business, she decides to meet the owner, Cash. This one is blunt and even rude, which outraged Stella, until they got stuck together. Stella Stone’s family family built the town from the ground up, so having Cash Drexel move in and open a competing chain of coffeeshops, along with other businesses, was not going to go unnoticed by the feisty blonde firecracker Stella! She marches into his office to declare war! Instead, she just might be the one to win his heart! Will she let herself get to know him and give him a chance? Or will she instead decide to fight him and shut him out of her life?
I really enjoyed this quick story with two strong and likable characters who are more similar than they realize. Both are very caring about others and, if they can get to talking and knowing each other, they may see how nicely their plans really do align. Grab your copy and enjoy a wonderful story that will pull the reader right in!
Stella went to talk to Cash about how his business was hurting her family's business. Sparks flew between them as they banter back and forth. Cash plans to help the town not hurt it but Stella won't give him a chance to explain so he will just have to convince her to give him a chance. Cash is drawn to her and wants to be with her. Can he show her that he isn't the devil she believes him to be?
This is an amazing story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them sizzled with each turn of the page. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Going Down was a great addition to the Instalove Hearts series by Ally Crew. With a determination to confront the person she believes will destroy her family's coffee shop, Stella is ready for a fight. Cash Drexel is new to town and he has plans to improve the town and bring more jobs to the locals. At thirty eight he is all business. But meeting the fiesty Stella he realizes there is more to life than business. He is determined to prove to Stella that they belong together. Convincing Stella he is not the bad guy she thinks he is will not prove easy. Thankfully when Cash sees something he want he goes after it. I definitely recommend this sweet and steamy read!
What a cute sweet story that’s perfect for a lunch time read or before bedtime.
Another fabulous story from Ally Crew! Loved the characters, the chemistry and the flow of this story. This story had lots of sweet scenes, moments that made me chuckle and many more moments throughout the whole story. What a cute sweet story that’s perfect for a lunch time read or before bedtime. So if you haven't read this book or any books by this author, I recommend you start now, you'll love them! Well done Ally....another great book!
She goes to his office to talk about the chains of coffee shops of his,and he fell hard and was planning on how to keep her. Now stuck in elevator and he gets more time to be with her. They talked and gotten to know each other better. Elevator door opens and her brother is there and he leaves her for his meeting. He save grace when he find her and begs for forgivness.
I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book and I absolutely loved it, perfect for lunchtime, no cliffhangers, no cheating, quick and easy to read. Cash and Stella had sizzling chemistry from their first meeting and getting stuck in an elevator just created a cosy atmosphere to get to know each other better.
Well-written story, sweet and steamy storyline, great characters.voluntarily
I enjoyed the story as it was short and I needed something short to just sit back and relax without having to think too much. I felt as though Stella and Cash had great chemistry but I had a hard time actually shipping them together as she went from cold to hot pretty quickly from just one explanation from him. It's sexy and sweet and in the end it works out.
Stella will not let some rich hot shot ruin her town or family's business she will show him.... until they get trapped in a lift together will there love blossom or go down.
This quick read is my first time reading this author. It’s on over the top instalove romance that has a lot of humor in it. I really enjoyed the story and would happily read more from this author in the future.

Their Adventurous Elevator Ride - This is a fun-filled short story, with enough heat that you will need a cold shower to get yourself back to normal. This is the first book I have read from this author and after reading this book, I know I definitely want to read more of her book.
Cash and Stella instant attraction which turned to love pretty quickly. It was an interesting story to include her family history. The elevator ride certainly was interesting. Thanks for such good entertainment. Written by Cindy :)
