Genesis
Rowan The virus is spreading. There are less humans and more infected than ever. Humanity is on the brink of extinction. But this isn’t the end. This is just the beginning. Of what, I don’t know but it’s something big. Now if only I can focus on the point at hand instead of this mountain of a man, who distracts me on a regular basis. But this push and pull we have going on is fun. Wonder how long it will take to break him. Tripp I hate change. Change is what destroyed us. But if we have any chance of survival, it’s gonna take a whole lot of change. And maybe a miracle. Though I didn’t expect the miracle to come in the form of a 5’5 raven-haired beauty. With a smart mouth and the ability to test my patience like no other. Between her defiance and banging muscular body, I have to learn to focus with the head on my shoulders and not the one in my pants. She’s determined to break me. But, what my little Kitty Cat doesn’t know is I’m determined to win this battle and make her purr.

Wow! I have a huge girl crush on Rowan. I will say i wish she would have given us some more background on her and Tripp. But it was another quick read.

Wow! I need a few moments to reform words. A+, 10 stars, must read; Tripp AND Rowan are mine. Hot damn...
I cannot really seem to form words to describe how much I enjoyed this story. If you have ever been one of those readers who squeals when they read, interacts with the characters dialogue, sighs, yells, and cheers then you know exactly what I mean.
This story was EVERYTHING I was hoping for and so much more. I loved the characters beyond measure, the action the sassy, the steamy scenes. Everything was just perfect. I have loved this series from the beginning and staying this is my favorite feels like a betrayal to the others but it is also true. This story blew me away.
From the opening page the readers gets a feels about these characters, Tripp being alpha and used to being in control, Rowan and her sass at helping a friend and paying the consequences. The story builds on this immediate tension and doesn’t let the reader go. The author did an amazing job of creating a unique world that, while based on our current one, is enough to escape into. The creatures and the rules as well as the action really make the story jump off the page.
I couldn’t stop turning the pages and became almost violent (just kidding) when interrupted. That is how addictive the story is, that NEED to finish and find out the answers. I LOVED every moment of this book and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this entire series (and I do think you need to read it in order, thought that is not strictly necessary).

BTW To start off ROWAN IS MINE AND I LICKED HER ALL OVER. I CLAIMED HER FROM THE VERY BEGINNING!!!
Now that I cleared up that. Let's get to the good stuff. First off, I just want to say that this story is by far one of my favorite stories written by N.M. Black this far. I mean from the characters' development to just gah everything. She has it all. Wittiness to sarcasticness. And everything in between.
I fell in love with this story from the very first chapter and it continued all the way through to the end. She packs the heat and the punches with Rowan's story. Her and Tripp's relationship is that love/hate relationship you can't help but love.
This story made me LOL and do a bunch of fanning myself. But also giving me a lot of WTF moments that made me want to yell and cuss the author out.
If you're a fan of PNR/Zombies I highly recommend this series.

Being a person that was in the military and also having a Devilish mynx side to myself, the dynamic push and pull teasing Tripp and Rowan were doing had me dying with laughter. After all it's something I did myself to an Army Ranger no less and as soon as I read the first exchange I was anticipating the results, they did not disappoint.
This book was so good, and I'm usually not a fan of the zombie romance books, but N.M. Blacks book of Genesis has that careful balance of love and zombies that really makes people like me find a way to love the writing even more. Her cute little definition of Bedgasm will have you laughing before the story even begins.
Now I had no clue this was a series, even though I caught a slight hint of it from the prologue, however this novel to me can be read as a stand alone.
I would most definitely recommend this novel to anyone who likes to spice up their mix of the zombie apocalypse and romance side of things. Gotta say I did for sure 😃

Genesis by N.M. Black is the fantastic third book in the interconnected standalone Pandorum Series. It is a wonderfully different take on the Dytopian theme, with a tough as nails heroine in Rowan and an Ex-Military Alphahole in Tripp, her equal. I absolutely loved their give and take, their chemistry, and the steam they tend to generate. And the side characters! Give me more Travis, Eric, and Jed, please! The storyline to Genesis is so on point with it's originality and flow. And Black's writing seems to get better with every book. And that ending! Let's just say I can not wait for book 4 to get here! 5 Bedgasmic Stars!

Omg! This is book 3 in the series and they just keep getting better and better! This book is HOT, love the characters... love what has been happening so far and the glimpses of what’s to come. Can’t wait to hear more about character backgrounds. There’s a little more added to Lucie and Rowan’s characters in this book but I feel like there’ll be more soon. Reading the teaser for the next book almost drove me insane with wanting to know exactly what happens next. Definitely one to add to your must read list!

Freaking fantastic and utterly thrilling to the very end!!!
DAMN! This series just keeps getting better and more thrilling with each book that comes out. Genesis (book 3) is unbelievably intense, suspenseful and so FREAKING HOT! I was on the edge of my seat, biting my nails with anticipation of what the hell was going to happen next! It's one emotional roller-coaster ride that will captivate and entertain you right to the end. And that ending - WOW!!!
Rowan is one badass tough woman. "...hanging from the cell bars, doing sit-ups like Rocky, at six in the Goddamn morning, is Rowan." She has a dark and damaged past (which we only learn bits and pieces of in this book). Her past is what makes her who she is now and what gives her the strength to push on in adversity.
Tripp is an intense alpha male who starts to develop a hate/love relationship with Rowan. She gets under his skin and he can't seem to get her out of it. He fights hard against the pull she has towards him but when she pushes back, they become a bomb waiting to go off.
"Fight me kitty cat...Come on kitty cat, give it to me. Give me your anger. Your hate. Give me everything you got. Let me take it...I want to take it." DAMN that is sexy!! I mean Tripp had my panties melting right there!
Rowan can't fight the pull that Tripp has on her. Their chemistry just oozes off the pages.
"There's a spark he triggers inside me the moment he opens his mouth to demand things and a fire that ignites when I defy him, its like molten lava, burning me from the inside out."
All of the other characters in this series are complex and well written. They all have a story to tell. The story-line is intense, gritty, raw and emotionally charged. There are many strong badass women in this series that I want to be just like them when I grow up.
If you are a fan of PNR/Zombies, I definitely recommend this series. It's phenomenal!

This series just keeps getting better and better! This third book in the series I couldn’t put down. The author has a sarcastic wit that had me burst out laughing. She also had me genuinely concerned and anxious about the fate of the characters, not just Rowan and Tripp, but some of those we’ve come to know and love from the earlier books. This book has everything - humour, suspense, romance, drama...
I’m not normally into zombie apocalypse as a genre, but the series is really the story of humanity and the relationships borne out of necessity, in a crisis. I mean, there’s definitely zombies and some nail-biting scenes, but it’s so much more. I can’t wait to see what happens next. I’d highly recommend giving the series a try.

Rowan has been helping the military base group for some time through Lucie and Bea. When she gets caught from their last mission together, she is not sure what to expect, but she takes it all in stride.
Tripp does not trust strangers. And he is unsure of who Rowan is and whether at not she has come to take away from their team. He does not trust her, but he does desire her.
As the push and pull between the two continues to cause resentment and desire, neither is sure of the other. Ultimately in the end, will they give in to their desires or let their animosity continue to come between them?
I couldn’t put the book down. I had to see what was going to happen and I am definitely looking forward to the next book.

Book 3!!
I LOVED the back & forth and “enemies to lovers” trope here.. as one would expect with the series, there’s loads of action, and plenty of steam!
I want to remain spoiler free, but if you want some post-apocalyptic zombieland romance, that you can read in one sitting, this series is for you!

I've enjoyed this whole series so far! This book is about Rowan and Tripp and I loved how Tripp had his hands full with Rowan, she is such a strong FMC. She gave as good as she got!
This book is another fast paced zombie romance with spice. It's a real page turner and it has a gorgeous cover 😍 I'm looking forward to getting to know the other characters in the next book! In fact with that ending I can't wait for the next one!!
