The book starts out with onl Mr Benny being found murdered. No one can understand why anyone would have anything against him. We learn fro the narrator (the Watcher) that Mr. Benny was the fourth murder but since the method of killing and difference in age ranges no one suspects that in reality it is a serial killer. Two young people have had their wrists sliced open and hung from a ceiling fan until the bleed out. Now the police do think this is the same person. The watcher can’t figure out what link there could possibly be between these murders. He goes to the library to look up information on these people’s families dead or alive but told by the lady at the library that all of these newspapers have been put off limits. You need to read what the watcher convies the librarian to do and the find out what happens to her and her son and who is behind these murders, who is helping him and why they are taking place. This is another great Amy Ross short story.

Even more short thrillers from Amy Ross. I love her short stories as they are quick to read and pack a punch. I am a fan of short stories especially on weekends when my reading time might be curtailed by any number of other interruptions of life. Amy's short stories all pack that surprise like her novels do. I love reading them. Here we have another collection featuring stories about killers who strike in a pattern and those who do not. You will not be disappointed by these stories. Each is unique and each can be read in a short time, perfect for those interludes between events when you only have a short reading time. All with a bit of vindictiveness in the theme. Great stories.
Oh. My. God. This story was something else. I don’t know how Amy Ross did it, but this storyline, characters—everything—had me on the edge of my seat! You definitely need to grab a copy of this book today. (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and was totally blown away by it!) 👍👍
