I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Body Counts by Amy Ross is about Scot, and the mysterious deaths that occur after certain men spend time in his night club. He goes on a mission with an unknown helper called "The Watcher" to find who the murderer of these men is.

This book was a quick read, which is nice, and the ending was predictable. I had a hard time connecting with the characters. This isn't the type of book I typically read and I was thankful for the chance, and I look forward to reading more by Amy Ross.

Another short tale from Amy Ross. She is very good at putting suspense on paper. In this one, there is someone murdering young men who frequent DS nightclub in the town of Salem. While the nightclub owner and the police try to get to the bottom of it all, the perpetrator is still at it, and has her next victim all lined up. Full of suspense, the reader finds himself biting his fingernails wondering if the perpetrator will be caught in the nick of time or not. Excellent tale of deceit and suspense, I loved it.

This is another wonderful story by Any Ross in the series of The Watcher". This time watching a night club to get the mysterious person or people who did this murder to bring them to justices! I love Amy's writing style on this Watcher person and as the story unfolded!! The Watcher has one job to do will The Watcher get it done? Read to find out,not telling.. What problems the Watcher comes across?? Looking forward to more. Amy has a way of pulling you into the story with the characters she has brought alive ..

Amy Ross writes wonderful short stories and pull you right in. Scot was from Salem but had lived and worked in a nightclub in Vegas. He came back to Salem and opened his own nightclub. He was hit really hard when a friend of his dies of a drug overdose and he had never done that kind or volume of drugs before. Scot gets a call from a guy known only as Watcher and convinces him that his friend was murdered. Read the book to see how it all turns out. It is really good.

Oh my goodness...Amy Ross has done it again! She’s managed to weave another creepy story while drawing you further and further into the storyline. Awesome! The characters are really deep and dark; yet they intrigue you. You’re definitely going to want this one for your library! (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and was thoroughly captivated.) ❤️

The plot of the story was good. However unfortunately it was not developed to its full potential. It was rather obvious who the killer was almost from the very start. There were a few inaccuracies as well and towards the end in the midst of all the excitement it grew almost confusing. Could have been a marvelous story.

Received this short story for free in exchange for a review. I was not aware this was part of a series when I read it. I have the first book in the series about the watcher, which I'd like to know more about. I really think the author could benefit from a proofreader though. I think it would make her stories read better
