Snell was a member of the Anatomical Society of Great Britain and the American Association of Anatomy, and in 2009 became an Honored Member of the American Association of Clinical Anatomists.

چند نکته:
کتاب رو به عنوان جلد سر و گردن اسنل در نظر گرفتم -
- بنظر من یه دانشجوی پزشکی در صورتیکه در زبان خیلی توانمند نیست، باید یه ترم مرخصی بگیره و زبانشو تقویت کنه. فقط تکست بخونید.
- رو کتاب گری وقت نزارین و مطالعه اسنل رو در اولویت قرار بدین. فکر کنم تنها دانشجویی ام که در فاصله حدود دو هفته مونده به علوم پایه اسنل رو برای بار اول می خونم! من کلا اهل ریسکم((:

کتاب آناتومی بالینی اسنل، یکی از کتب مرجع پزشکی هست که در مقطع علوم پایه تدریس می‌شود. از آن دست کتاب‌هایی که هر دانشجوی پزشکی باید حداقل یک بار آن را بخواند.
با وجود اینکه نحوه‌ی آموزش این کتاب کلاسیک محسوب می‌شود ولی از امتیاز بسیار بالایی بین اساتید آناتومی برخوردار است، که بیشتر به خاطر جنبه‌ی بالینی آن می‌باشد.
نویسنده سعی کرده است تا در هر مقطع وقتی که به بررسی بافت نرم و اعصاب و شراین می‌پردازد در کنار آن نکات بالینی مرتبط با آن بافت را مطرح کند تا خواننده آن را به صورت عملی بیاموزد.

هرچند نویسنده کلی تلاش کرده برای اینکه ما بخونیم و پزشکی یاد بگیریم ولی واقعا ترجمه ش خسته کننده و حوصله سر بر هست.. به کسانی که این کتاب رو می خونن توصیه می کنم فقط از تکست استفاده کنن! بعدشم کتاب رو مقطعی بخونید، کتاب داستان نیست که مثل ما بخواید تو فرجه امتحان تمومش کنید:/
