…with a twist.
This is Tiger's story.
Tiger
If I had been born in the right family, I would be that stinking rich guy, who made his fortune with his clever ideas.
But I wasn’t, so I ended up behind bars.
I chose to sell drugs. Yes, chose to. Knowing why I was doing it.
Now that I’m out, I know I’m not going back there, ever.
Me and my buddies started our own farm. That keeps me going.
One day I see Sarah in that bar.
The encounter of my life.
Sarah
I’m at the lowest point of my life.
I'm sitting here in this bar alone, drinking away my problems.
My breakup was so painful, I decide to get high, just once. I couldn't care less.
Then here comes this huge, tattooed guy and steps in to protect me.
….and I’m lost.

Alright as insta-love romances go. However, enough weak points that I can't give it more than 2+ rounded up to 3.

The final story of the boys at Wild Eagle Acres. Tiger (H) spent his years in jail, paid the price for his time involved in the drug trade, and is now comfortable in his new life on the farm. He encounters Sarah (h) one night at a bar, and is pleasantly surprised when she comes to the farm for produce. Though their date shows promising chemistry, will the secrets each is keeping push them apart?

It's light, fluffy, but with a bit of a unique setting - the whole restarting ex-cons idea. Enjoyable for a quick afternoon read, but not enough depth to really make it a favorite. I wish that Sarah's secret had a bit more telegraphing. As it was, she was brooding over her ex, but with us not knowing about her deeper secrets? Well, she just kinda came off rather b*tchy. I mean, to be that negative when she had one ex who grew apart from her? Not even something as serious as abuse or fraud or whole string of horrible boyfriends or something. As break-ups go, it's pretty mild, so she's showing rather an extreme reaction - at least as far as we can tell. She's mad at Tiger for not telling her about his past (which he's a year-plus past, working hard to move on from). She fusses, "Maybe he thought I wouldn't give him a second thought if I knew he was an ex-con"... which is exactly what she WAS doing, so wasn't he kinda justified for waiting until they know if there's something there before talking to her about all that? It makes more sense once we learn more about her secrets (), but seeing that Big Reveal wasn't until the very end of the story, she came off instead as both judgemental and hypocritical in the meantime. Not my favorite of the heroines in the series.

All of the books in the series have the same problem - they are rather short. With the storylines involved, they could have used some more pages. The flow would have been smoother overall - kinda choppy as they are now. Sarah's secret especially would have been a smoother development with some more pages. Yes, at the length they are, these stories make for quick lunchtime reads, but a little bit more development wouldn't've hurt.

Well written, grammatically. Mostly well edited, thought there are occasional typos. One issue throughout the series has been the occasional slip to British English. Usually just one or two instances per book, but it's a little jarring when people who otherwise have a touch of US country slang in their speech also use terms like "plait" or "trainers." One little comment on continuity - Sarah mentions Chief and Bird and "their wives, their children" at the end of the story. Except if it's only a year since Tiger's joined them, then it hasn't been long enough for the babies to start arriving. Little point, but it stuck out a touch (maybe because I read them all in about a day?).

Also throughout the series, I was frustrated with the formatting. Don't know if these were conscious choices by the author or not, but there wasn't always spacing between paragraphs in a conversation. Elsewhere paragraphs were separated by an empty line. In conversations, though, sometimes there was but equally as frequently there wasn't. Sometimes made conversations more difficult to follow. Also in the formatting category - the text messages. They were just in quotes like spoken statements. In other books I've read, text messages are in italics or bold or something. Not that there's an exact formatting convention, but at least do something to differentiate. Again, just confusing enough to be distracting.

Alternating 1st person POV. No cheating, no OW/OM drama, no love triangle nonsense. Insta-love with relatively low angst, though I didn't particularly like the h too much. A bit more development would have fixed that, but it is just a short story. Fast, easy, escapism. HEA with epilogues and no cliffhangers.

Would I read more in this series/by this author? I read this whole trilogy and enjoyed it, but it wasn't really a "reread" series for me. I might try another of her series, especially if it's another free/cheap find on Kindle.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the third book in the Wild Eagle Alphas Book. In this book, Tiger is the third man to find love. Tiger, along with Chief and Bird bought a farm when they were released from prison. One night while Tiger was at a local bar, he noticed a drug dealer. The dealer approached a woman and Tiger thought he should step in to be sure she was ok. Sarah was having a bad day and when the dealer offered her something, she just wanted to escape. When Tiger offered her a drive home, she was a little nervous, but he made her feel better and took her home to her house. The next day, Sarah's mother asked her to go to the farm to get vegetables and Sarah was embarrassed to see Tiger. Tiger was happy to see Sarah and asked if she would see him again. Sarah agreed and Tiger knew she was the woman for him, but Sarah had a secret and was scared to trust. i liked this book, i like Tiger, he was a good guy and he just wanted to be happy and have a family of his own. Tiger knew he did bad things in his past and he knew he paid his debt, but he was determined never to go back to jail. I like that he had another chance and i think he really cared for Sarah. Another good one in this series.

I've gone through the whole series by this author and although the stories have potential I still don't find them extremely great. The background of the characters and ex-cons moving forward is a great plot. Here we have Tiger meeting Sarah and having amazing chemistry. But throughout the story I don't see much development between his past and hers and couldn't really see them together. Some of the writing doesn't make sense and some of the scenes mention years having passed when it's only been a year. It's a short, insta-love romance and I usually love those but with a little more development, this would have been great.

Tiger is yummy

A bad boy that learned his lesson and is ready to move on with his life. Meeting Sara at a bar, where he promised his friends he wouldn't be, he helps her home and is smitten. Twists and turns in this short story make it well worth the read. Highly recommend. Ruby Rose does a wonderful job with this series and Tiger is just another example of her excellent storytelling ability.

Tiger and Sarah meet in a bar. She makes a mistake and he takes care of her. This story has a twist I was not expecting, which was a very good thing. I really liked the turn of events even though it was almost at the end of the story.
Short, insta-love, ex-convict romance which is exactly what it's promised on the blurb. I still have a problem with First Person writing but at this point, I'm going with the flow.

Extra Sweet

I love this series! I’ve always enjoyed the second chance romances and these books fill that perfectly.
Each book gives you a couple struggling for their happy ending but this one has been my favorite so far.
Spoiler- A struggling mom trying so hard not to loose hope and finding a man worth holding onto. I loved that Tiger just threw himself into the daddy role, a very sweet happy ending.
A wonderful series and author.

This is the quick and steamy read of Tiger and Sarah. This this the third book in this series, they can be read as a standalone but the stories interconnect. Tiger finds the woman that will capture his heart. He sees Sarah and knows she is the one. Their chemistry is off the charts. A enjoyable read and series. You will not be disappointed.

This is book 3 in the series and Tiger's story. This one didn't connect with me as well as the previous two did, but I did like the characters and wanted to see where their story would go - I did not expect it to go where it went, but that made it a surprise and interesting.

Tiger ❤ Sarah.

Another great short story. Love reading these because they get straight to the point without seeming to be rushed. Tiger is such a sweetheart who falls hard for Sarah..who is still having a hard time getting over her ex that treated her like garbage. Thru Tigers love Sarah sees her worth.

Tiger has doubts about being accepted because of his condition of ex con.
Sara doesn’t trust men; however, she trusts him at first sight.
A very emotional story. I loved the end.

A good man

This story and the others that go with it just goes to prove that just because a man has a record, doesn't mean he is a bad man. Just a good man who made a mistake. Excellent stories, all of them ...... Check them out for yourself and you'll see what i mean !!
