She's on the hunt, and Foley will be her preyground.

Amy, a tech savvy blogger, is tired of being trampled on by men. Namely, men of power and wealth. Men who believe they're above the rest of society. Utilizing her considerable technical skills, she concocts a plan to rid Foley of its aristocracy by drawing them into a deadly game of seduction and betrayal.

Detective Shelby Lynn joins the Eighth District Homicide Squad and is immediately thrust into an untenable situation when she's partnered with the disagreeable Detective Berg Anderson, and brought into the hunt for Foley's newest serial killer gone wild.

As the Squad works the case, they encounter crime scenes that aren't what they seem, bugs, drugs, newspaper editorials, a possible copy cat killer, one of their own in trouble, and much more.

Can the Eighth District Homicide detectives stop this killer before she eliminates her lengthy list of prey?

Nathan Bush is the author of The Foley Chronicles: Files from the 8th District, what he calls faith-based crime, with an attitude. An edgy crime story series with a mixture of grit, humor, excitement, romance, and a touch of Christianity. He also writes The Foley Chronicles: Dark Side of Foley, a supplemental series to Files from the 8th District. His blog (Write Here, Write Now) is where he shares short stories in various genres, life ramblings, a few book reviews, and an occasional devotional, and some insight on life with a child on the Spectrum.

He has been writing since high school, where he was involved with the school newspaper and literary magazine but didn't publish his first full length novel until 2016. He currently has six books published in the Files from the 8th District series, as well as two novellas in The Dark Side of Foley series.

He has also begun writing songs for the “soundtrack” of the series, both in the country and Christian genres.

While he has yet to break into mainstream fandom, or received accolades or awards, he has written an article for Indie Authors Monthly (April 2018 issue), and short stories and a poem for the RAC Magazine.

He enjoys reading a variety of genres that includes sci-fi, fantasy, Christian fiction, true crime and mystery/thriller/crime. He also writes in many of these genres (mainly on his blog) but has found he prefers the crime niche over the others.

His goal in writing is simply to entertain his readers and to grow a loyal fan base to spread the word about his stories.

The Foley Chronicles continue with this next episode and the introduction of a strong female Sr. Detective named Shelby! John continues with his faith and strength helping the team on the next case. As well as the interesting characters Berg and Quinn rounding out the four corners of this Christian Crime series.
I was glad to get back to Foley and see what has been going on. A female killer is targeting cheating men, and with a flair for some drama and hidden messages, she has the team working overtime.
Nathan Bush always keeps me absorbed into the story and turning pages as fast as I can read them. His “killer” characters (pun intended! ) are always enthralling, and the glimpses into the private lives of the detectives keep me engrossed in this series.

The diabolical murder mysteries by Nathan Bush continue

Nathan creates some of the most demented serial killers, taking us inside their perspective to understand why they do what they do. The series features a diverse cast of detectives with well developed personalities, the drama of interpersonal strive and their motivations. The fictional setting of Foley provides a colorful backdrop for all the action as the detectives struggle to unravel the killings and to advance their personal lives while somehow working together.

Utilizing her considerable technical skills, she concocts a plan to rid Foley of its aristocracy by drawing them into a deadly game of seduction. Namely, men of power and money. Detective Shelby Lynn joins the 8th District Homicide Squad and is immediately thrust into an untenable situation when she's partnered with the disagreeable Detective Berg Anderson. They soon team with Senior Detective John Filcher and Detective Quin Butler on a case, which quickly turns into more than a simple murder investigation. The team encounters crime scenes that aren't what they seem, bugs, drugs, newspaper editorials, a possible copycat killer, one of their own in trouble, and much more. Can the Homicide Detectives of the 8th District stop this killer before she eliminates her lengthy list of prey?

This story has a whole slew of characters besides Detective John Filcher. Another creepy murder mystery crime story.
