Stephen Taylor spent over twenty years wiring up homes and businesses with audio visual kit before the big 50 started looming and he finally sat down to write the book he’d always had rattling around in his head.

That book was Execution of Faith — a supercharged, no-nonsense thriller that hit the ground running and never looked back. Readers loved it so much he wrote a prequel, Vodka Over London Ice, which became the first in what is now the internationally bestselling Danny Pearson series.

Raised on a diet of Lee Child’s Jack Reacher, Vince Flynn’s Mitch Rapp, and Tom Wood’s Victor — with a healthy side serving of Die Hard, Daniel Craig’s Bond, and anything Guy Ritchie ever pointed a camera at — Stephen writes the kind of thrillers he wants to read: hard, fast, no filler, and with enough humour to keep you grinning between the gunfights.

The Danny Pearson series has found fans across the world who love action that doesn’t let up and a hero who’s as handy with a one-liner as he is with his fists. If you like your thrillers with the throttle wide open, you’re in the right place.

It's my second Danny Pearson short after Timekeepers box and I loved it. Since it was a shirt story, I didn't expect any fluff but pure action and a crisp plot which is what I got. Danny is on vacation in Spain with a buddy when he stumbles upon a trafficking syndicate. He follows leads one after another and ends up busting the balls of the traffickers. The plot moves quickly from one place to other, full of action. Author spends very less time in developing the story or setting the scene which is the foremost requirement of a plot based action thriller.

Want a hard hitting action short story that can be read during a quick flight? Definitely grab Heavy Traffic.

This was my first experience with this author. The book attacks a currently hot topic in fiction, the evils of sex trafficking. Several authors are on board, with both heroes and heroines in the lead role battling this sick trade.

But Stephen Taylor was early to publish in this theme, and his very direct punch-mouth style unique in the crowd. This book forces his hero, Danny Pearson, to act quickly facing tilted odds against him, to save a group of young ladies about to face a life of bondage in a flesh auction to a bunch of rich lechers.

It’s punch-shoot first as the bad guys attack Danny on his rescue mission. Great stuff.

Who doesn't love a short story, for me as a reader as well as an author the ability to dip in and get a taste of a series is priceless. Have a read on the train on the way to work, or on the bus, or at the airport. I had a great time writing this short novel and I hope you enjoy reading it just as much.

So its goodbye for now and I hope to see you reading one of my full length Danny Pearson Thrillers soon

Thanks for reading
