My boss gave this to me at work. It’s a easy, simple read. They’re not recreating the wheel here. Most of this to me in common sense.

As someone who likes to troubleshoot issues, I’d be more keen to read something on preventing workers becoming gomo’s (go through the motions) and d-grunts (disgruntled).

Some people are bitter and jaded by life and that personal wound bleeds into work life, however, I find sometimes workers start to go through the motions or become disgruntled because they WERE engaged and they DID care, but then got burned by their leadership/company. Or bad processes are set in place by leadership that prevent growth and change.

This is a handy little pocket book to help “rah rah” you on to have a good attitude and inspire you, but kinda boils all these situations down into black and white.

Very easy read. A lot of relatable points that get down to the root what it means to "lead simply"... As another review stated "not reinventing the wheel here", it is a very simple book to give your leadership team to help inspire them and its one they should be able to read with relative ease. So for those looking for something a little more in depth, there are better books but for those looking for a simple easy read, this is perfect!

Compact piece on leadership in any space. Best quote, "We're here to make good things happen for someone else. We do that....and it all works" (p. 5).
