No one knows what to get an alpha grizzly bear shifter for his birthday.
All I want is my virgin mate.
But we met when the beastly part of me was in a feral mood, so she thinks I'm some sort of monster the world has to be warned about. And she has to be convinced that I'm safe.
Easier said than done when her young, pure body brings out my primal nature.
This is a complete bundle of each part of Gift for the Alpha. Beginning, middle, and HEA.
This is a very short read considering that all three parts of the story are all in this one book. The main characters are Brooke and Slate who have a lot to go through before they can reach their HEA.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Plot: Brooke has been waiting for her destiny; she just doesn't know who or what that might be. But things haven't been the same since her sister was attacked and she knows what she saw, even if nobody believes her. But now she has proof, and she will find the bear shifter that roared into her life.
Commentary: I don't know if his explanation for freaking out and almost eating her sister was sufficient, but I guess as long as they were all okay with it, it's fine. Although the extended family on both sides seems like a mess and I can't ever imagine trusting the uncle!
"Gift for the Alpha" is a nice short story for in between with a HEA. I liked the idea of the shifter triplets. However, I found Brooks' naivety a bit disturbing, although that is probably still understandable with nineteen (In Brooks' case, that means: If you are convinced that the prince charming is waiting for you out there, you will probably hear the mental wedding bells ringing and mentally change the babies diapers at the first contact with the prince.). - Seen in this way, this aspect will not bother every reader. When it comes to short stories, you also have to keep in mind that you shouldn’t expect too much depth.
