The Way to a Killers Heart
Jason Davis was born and raised to be a trained assassin. His father saw his gift at an early age and sent him to be trained by the Navy Seals. Jason became that and more for his older brother Jordan who has taken his father’s place as a member of a clan called the Stand. But the killer that Jason became is the killer that no one could control. Not even his family. At the age of twenty-four, Jason was one of the most feared assassins around the country. He has been using his connects to find whoever his older brother Jordan wanted him to kill. He did them without questioning Jordan’s motives. What Jordan didn’t know, was that Jason was becoming inhuman with every kill. He started killing for the pleasure of it. And the woman that used to keep him from going over was no longer able to do that until Joel. Joel’s sass-talking, soul food cooking, and southern mentality put Jason in his place every time. She is not afraid to speak her mind and it has Jason on pause. He begins to feel an emotion that he isn’t used to feeling toward someone that isn’t family. He opens up and thinks that he can be happy for once. He takes a step out of the darkness and into the light. But, Joel’s actual test comes when Jason was hit with betrayal. Jordan Davis is the older brother, who craves power. He sees his family above all and when there is a chance for him to put them on top, he uses his brother's unique skills and some other assassins called the Elite to get them there. He has been moving in silence and left his family in the dark. When his plans come out, it puts them in danger and sets Jason off. Jordan’s greed for power causes a tragic loss which pushes Jason over into the hell that he has crawled out of. Jason threatened the love he found to become the man that his brother and family needed, but it came with a cost. A cost that they all will pay.

Fantastic story

Great story about Family, love, loyalty, killing,betrayal, action st
If these adjectives excite you, this is a series for you
It is a page turner and will have you not wanting to put the book down
While the characters Re on the wring side of the law you find yourself liking them and wanting them to be ok
But the twists and turns in this story will have you on the edge of your seat
It should be a movie
I am getting ready for Part 2
The ending of Part 1 was out of this world!!!!!

Must f'n read
Baby this book was fire. I reread the last few pages multiple times. Because baby whatttttt. I knew something was cooking and I had to make sure I was reading right. Let me skip my a$$ to the next book because I know its gonna be juicy. Great writing skills as always from the author.

It was okay
This was ok it was all over the place I just feel like it wasn’t that consistent I enjoyed the suspense at the ending but I just feel like it was missing something. Not my favorite

I just knew this was gone be something else.
I loved the family aspect of the book. Even through tough times they stood together against other. But that Joel I knew she was going to be something unexpected. Definitely reading book 2.

Slow start
The build up was fast and hard. A good read. I hate cliffhangers that force me read another book. I will be reading part 2 because Joel has me intrigued.
