A DEFINITE HIT!!!

When I tell you that Nako ALWAYS brings the heat, straight FIRE! What I mostly enjoyed about this book was the effortless flow of the writing. It felt good to know that Nako's love of the characters is unrelenting. I also enjoyed how characters from her other books are memorable enough that you know exactly who they are and or from what other book they're from. Many of us fans were crushed when the Underworld ended, but we stood fast, and got another one. Nako definitely leaves you wanting to read more. I literally stayed in bed all day reading this book. There were a lot of questions answered and well as tears shed. With all that is happening in the world right now, I was delighted in reading about black men and their vulnerabilities, brotherhood, and faith in God. Moreover, their dedication and love to family and friendship. I also reveled in how black women can come together in love and forgiveness. Sometimes we are so stubborn that we get in our own way. Nako showed how forgiveness is not always about the other person, but actually yourself. This book touched on many emotions, but nonetheless, praise worthy!
Kudos to Nako and although you are going through the fire right now, you are loved! Peace and blessings 🙏

The storm is coming and waves are high!

When Nasir King went to jail, my heart split into a thousand pieces and the Underworld went a thousand ways. This crew was vicious, family, rich and would take you down and sit with your family! When Ramone gets that 📱 call..Daddy’s getting out tomorrow..he has no idea of who the man is that’s coming. Nako has done it again and when I say everything I dreamed of that I thought would happen...wow...She put me 6 feet under with this one. Welcome home King and he does not forget his brothers or Lo!
The reunion is what we wanted...the follow up is going to take us through quite a few lives. Some people come in our lives for a season, a reason or a lifetime and some things are just not fair nor agreed with but I will say everyone who reads Nako’s stories knows it is about -to-go-down!!!!!! I literally saw Demi’s face ! I love this transition of Nas but one thing you will learn he is still arrogant, that cocky, fine as wine and just the one! Soul searching, shaking all the households up, heartbreaks, and the kids will really see who he is. Jordyn is still on my hit list and Nia..she just got added. Nasir is one of those people who was bad as hell but he could do no wrong, lol. This story gets one million ⭐️, the craftiness and Nako leaves no one behind and my heart is still broken and I just do not believe some relationships are over but whose next....Malachi? Bravo, Bravo, Bravo...Loved every inch of this story and will read it again!

Highly anticipated...

4 years later and greatness has appeared again. You will see the growth from some characters and bitterness of others, the revolution of Lo's growth and my man Nasir King..

The book will pull all type of emotions out of you. You will be sad, might even cry, happiness, shocked and mad. That to me is the type of book I love .
One word: Grace was the truth.. She was so real and truthful which was needed..

Ring the alarm!!

I swear Nako did NOT let me down. This book was filled with all the drama you wouldn’t expect. The ups and downs and ins and outs of Nas were exposed and some of it I rode with him about but there were other things dealing with Lo that I couldn’t respect. I can’t wait for Chi’s story...

🥺

Son of a Don was another great addition to the Underworld family. I was intrigued with more of Ramone, Noah, and Sara. The updates on the OGs were appreciated but Lo and Nas, at their big ages, still can’t get it right. SMH! I hated the way Ramone learned the truth, but it needed to come out. I already know Sara is going to give me a headache in her books,🫠

I NEED MORE🔥🔥🔥

Nako let me just say it was so much growth within these characters that I'm extremely please how some have turned out! Now I wasn't expecting the Jordyn situation I was some what sad about the situation until I realized she couldn't help but to be bitter and miserable smh. My sweet sis Lo money was so broken, lost ans tired to the point she wanted to give up. She's been through it all and still managed come out on top. I love how she chose to love herself and put herself first this time around. The love that her and Nas had was toxic & she came to understand just because you love someone doesn't mean you're meant to be. Some ppl are only meant to be seasonal. East & Nia need to just get a divorce cause homeboy really not that happy. Nas definitely still had some f%# boy ways but his growth was refreshing I also feel like Zori was a feel in🤷‍♀️ I love Ramone he's a man's man he handle himself very well even when he felt like his life was an disaster. .

Last but not least I WAS SO HERE FOR LAUREN & SEAN RECONNECTING BABBBYYYY WHEN NAS SAW THEM TOGETHER HE WANTED TO KILL SEAN😂😂 BUT MY NIGGA SEAN WAS UNBOTHERED BY MR KING AS USUAL.
Cant wait for Chi story I'm so happy he's coming home💕
P.S Noah & Sara need they a$$ best for disrespected My sis I surprised Lo didnt slap them they a$$

AGAIN AND AGAIN!!

Nako ONCE AGAIN, did her mf thing!!! She left absolutely no stone unturned, no question unanswered. When the book started, I just knew we were going to SIME vibes and were going to be taken thru another toxic whirlwind of the infamous Lo&Nas saga! But baybeeee was I in for a surprise. LO MONEY will ALWAYS be top 2 and she AINT #2. The growth from these characters was amazing, especially Nas! I just knew he was going to drag Zori thru the mud, but I’m actually pleased with their ‘love story’. She handled him well. I love the man Ramone became, his life could’ve been soooo different. I completely understand and agree with Nasir’s feelings towards East, that wasn’t his place period. All in all, this book was amazing! I don’t want to give away the whole thing. The gems, the praise breaks, the prayers.. After what 50+ books, my girl still never fails to amaze me. She’s my top 2 as well AND SHE AINT #2! Thank you for this Nako, you know how we feel about the UW! And shout out to that manifestation in the epilogue!! If you’re not in her reading group, I advise you to join! NRG is honestly one of the best things to happen to me! My life changed sooooo much just by pressing that “Join” button! Thanks again for this one Nako, I love you baby ❤️

Fantastic !

Yes, I've been waiting for this story. The ending of the last book lead you to believe that Nasir was returning and I loved it. First of things are changing and Nasar has to feel his way. I wasn't surprised that he went to Lauren first. His daughter, Sarah is too much and I was surprised about what she did to Simon.
I agreed with what Grace told Lauren about her situation with Nasir. Grace is Lauren's cousin and she was straight with her. Surprised that Sean was divorced
but happy about his relationship with Lauren. Sean loved her, is respectful of her and treats her like the Queen she. Is. Eastland and Nia are a power couple and Nia was Jordyn's best friend. Jordan hated Nasir and wrote a book to be released after her death. At first I took issue with Eastland telling Romone about his heritage, I felt it could of been handled differently. Nasir meeting good son and Eastland friends were on point. Nasir is growing and he is truly enjoying his new wife and son and his life at home. Simon is dead and it's time for Lauren to spread her wings. What is with Touch, Sarah's boyfriend. Malachi is about to be released in 72 hours. Bring it on!!!!!!! Great book, author did a job well done.

FOREVER THE UNDERWORLD ❤

Always refreshing to read anything involving the characters of The Underworld. It never gets old when we get updates on how things have changed, from those who have moved on, how they've grown and what new things are transpiring for them. I can say this book here is all about growth, loving yourself and inner peace. There were a few revealing secrets, some not revealed in the most appreciated way but these characters have learned to grow and move into another chapter that allowed for their bond to be intact. Nas will be Nas but what I loved about him in this book was that he showed emotion and that is something you would have never gotten from Mr. King in the past. His growth for me was one I wanted to happen for so long. I was happy that Lauren began to focus on herself and find the peace she needed to be happy. For so long she put her time and energy into seeing about everyone else's needs but hers was put to the side. Focusing more on her faith is what will get her through and I see a new Lauren emerging. Thank you Nako for giving us a book that is once again hands down the best and will not be forgotten. Can't wait for Malachi's story. So excited 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Still the Greatest!

I’ve read every single book by Nako. It all started when I logged into Kindle and was searching urban books, that’s when I came across Nako, and I believe it was (The Connects Wife). As I started reading and couldn’t put the book down until I was finished, I was hooked. Reading has always been my hobby, pastime call it what you want. I began my journey with Nako’s books. I love how she holds nothing back with her stories and make them to where you relate to the people in her books. I have found other urban books out there that were good to read, but honey, they have nothing on Nako and her writing skills. Even though The Underworld was by far the best EVER! I enjoyed the others too, I couldn’t put her books down lol. And if you enjoy great urban books, start with Nako, but you must read her first book in order to connect the storyline regarding The Underworld. All her other books are just as good, and will keep you intrigued until the end. Now I’m eagerly waiting for Malachi’s story. Whew!

Where Do I Begin?!

Nako, I’ve known you for a minute now and I have always been empressed with your writing. From the Connect’s Wife book 1, I told myself that you would always have my support. You’ve out did yourself Nako. This book was
perfect!! You gave us day 1’s and your newbies, exactly what we needed. I have to take a moment to recognize the OG’s for just a moment though. The ones who were there at birth Lol, y’all know who y’all are and I know how y’all are feeling right now, like THIS IS AMAZING!!! I don’t want to say you gave us closure because Chi’s book is needed as well, but you did put a period on alot of things. Nako, you are blessed with the pen queen. I look forward to Chi’s book, Sara’s book, I love her, and to Lo and Nas finding their way back to each other after self love, self healing and Zori and Sean kicking rocks. FOR TRUE LOVE ( In my Nicki Minja voice)!!!

What a great read!

This was such a good novel! I really loved seeing Nasir in this new light! I knew he and Lo could never be although I kind of wanted them back together. I realized their relationship was toxic and would continue to be. I realized also Sean always loved her and has her best interest at heart. He will love her right. Jordyn died being bitter, not a good look and she was wrong for how she let Ramone know the truth, it was petty because she partook of the whole thing when she could've easily walked away from it all, she chose to stay and raise a child that wasn't hers, put up with Nasir, all of it, I never once felt sorry for her bitter behind, sorry! East & Nia were also wrong how they handled that news. I like the new Nasir, its a breath of fresh air to see him trying to be whole, feel things, shed tears, emotions. Loved Sara in this novel! Just overall a great work of literary art! Great job Nako! Can't wait to read about Malachi!!!!!

New World Order

Nako did it again!! She blew our minds and ripped our hearts out of our chest. This book is everything we needed, everything we wanted and everything we deserve. I have done the Underworld journey TWICE now and to have this book to finish it off with this time around was so fitting.

We- the NRG FAMILY- are so dang proud of you! You make us stand tall, poke our chest out and say- Our Sister Our Friend, the one who brought us all together- SHE IS THE MVP!!

I highly recommend this book- and her entire catalog of books! It’s a series you will never forget. Characters jump off the page and become family and fantasy and best friends!

I can’t wait to see what happens next. I am thrilled and emotional all at once. Still screaming we love and miss you Papa and MJ!!! If you are looking for a journey take a ride with the Underworld- but stop by and holler at Farren first.

Stomach in Knots Good

When this first released, I was so nervous and because I kept anticipating for a massive train wreck that’s always associated with Nasir King.

Lo Money was everything that I thought she would be and more. Without giving away too much, she ended up just as I wanted her to. Overall, she is an amazing leading character. I wish there was a book solely on her journey. The gems of her life are book worthy!

Overall, SOAD was really good, I wanted more to flow from the title, but I understand that we will probably experience more in the future.

Nako dropped several gems as usual and I pretty much highlighted majority of them. Definitely a wonderful rebirthing to a series that was slated as over.

Full

I am so full! All I ever really wanted is for Lo to heal. What a journey it has been. To see her pursue her own happiness is everything. The thought of her with Sean ...just that possibility makes me smile. Ramone is not his father’s child and that’s a blessing. I love what he has with Iman. He could’ve turned out so many different ways but he is just a genuinely good kid. Noah can kick rocks! I hope Sara doesn’t make the same self hurting moves in love Lo did. She can really learn something from Lo. East is a sucka. How he deals with Nia how he deals period he is weak minded. Jordyn was bitter to the end. I didn’t expect anything but that last f you. Great read. Malachi up next!

Thank You Nako

Thank you so much for giving us this book! I have no complaints and don’t want to say too much yo give anything away. I appreciated you giving Sara a voice in this installment! We waited for this one! I just knew the sentencing wasn’t the end! Thank you so much! I’ve been a fan since I began reading The Connects Wife before finding your group!
This book is the perfect read! Make sure you read the catalog first or you will be lost in the sauce! All of the characters are relatable. There are little to no writing, or grammatical errors in any of her books! {my pet peeve} storylines are easy to follow even when books crossover one another! Thank you so much Nako! We love you

NAKO, NAKO, NAKO, GIRL!!

Whew! I must say I loved this story! I love the growth that Nasir is experiencing. I love that he and Lo can move past each other and remain friends. I like Sean, but, I think that was bogus of him with Lo considering they were supposed to be brothers in the UW. But, Nas did some questionable ish too though. East, East, East! You a straight up P***y! You knew it was not your place to tell Ramone that! You was on some jealous and envious s&&t! And Jordyn that was messed up how she gonna wait until she dead to reveal that in a book! She had to know it would really hurt Ramone! She died still bitter after all those years.Amazing job Nako!!! Now on to Chi's story! I hope it doesn't make me cry and angry!lol

Nako how do you do this!

This book was life changing, literally! I can’t even form words right now. The best series i have ever read in my entire 32 years is the underworld. Nako son of a don blew my whole mind. You left no stone unturned. All of the Underworld secrets revealed and the questions we’ve all had for years have been answered. I’m writing this with tears in my eyes because i feel so full! I feel like these people are my true family. This was perfect! I can’t even think straight right now. Job well done and if this was the last book you’ve ever written you should proud knowing this can’t be topped! You are truly the queen-pen!

Finally Free

Wow, though it was a short book of my favorite characters it was awesome! Lauren is finally able to find her way and free to be herself-growth through pain! Nasir King finally facing his demons and learning how to be genuine and possibly in real love because she doesn't take his stuff and challenged him to be better. Jordan ump is all I can say! It was good reading the growth of everyone and how their lives changed for the better! I can't wait for Malachi to come home and read his story! It's sad to close the chapter's of The Underworld because it was exhilarating to feel connected to each one of them. Forever MJ & Papa!!!❤️❤️ Great job Nako!!!!!

Love

I’m sooo happy Lo is finally done being dumb... I also loved how the author shines light on the fact that Nasir is a narcissist. So many women are dealing with their own Nasir and are unaware of the cause of their mans behavior and that they aren’t the reason for it. I can’t believe papa is reallly gone.. lol I feel like on my mind I wanted a miracle escape to happen lol but no 😭😭😭.. I hope Lo and Shawn have a happy ending . She deserves it because goodness.. she receives hell from EVERYONE... nobody prays more in these books than her and she gets the short end of every stick... her kids even treat her like shit.. let her find true uninterrupted happiness

The tears will not stop flowing

Wow! Nako has done it again! This story was much needed as a fan of The Underworld series. Nas is still Nas and I think that’s what I love about him even though he continuously breaks my heart. Lo has always been my favorite and that remains the same. I don’t want to give any spoilers away but I cried so hard. I just want her to be happy for the rest of her life. I have so much to say about this book but again, I don’t want to reveal any spoilers. Son Of A Don is a must read!

Wow just Wow!!

I knew this would be good but man this was amazing! The only thing i questioned I could not really tell the timeframe of the story. How many years after sentencing, but that’s ok. I am guessing like 20 but it was amazing to see where people ending up how there life’s were affected. I don’t want to give anything away but The rise and fall of the Underworld had a huge affect on so many people both directly and indirectly. Fathers being absent from their kids it regardless of your financial situation is very hard.

Nako and her skills 🔥 🔥

Team Nas & Lo 4 ever!!!! I screamed so loud when Nasir got out of prison. I was so happy the King returned. I was also so happy Lauren finally decided to love herself first. I need need a book with Lo & Sean's love story. It was good to see Nas growth ❤️ I love seeing all the characters back together. I didn't like the way Sara and Noah treated Lauren, it was horrible. I like the man Ramone had become. I'll be waiting for Chi's story.
Nako you are still my favorite & I can't wait to read more from you.

Wow

Why I didn’t remember Lauren messing with Sean before? I’m so happy that Lauren and Nas went their separate ways cause that was too toxic. I’m also happy Nas sees he’s a narcissist. He don’t care about anyone but his damn self. I feel for Demi. Sad that Jordyn died but she don’t have to do that to Ramone and Nas. Sara and Noah need they’re ass handed to them like how the hell you gonna disrespect the only mother you got. Noah needs a slap. Wish more was included from the other members wife’s and other members but this was a good read.

Wow🔥🔥🔥🔥

I enjoyed this book! I am so proud of the growth that Mr. King showed throughout the book. Although, his micro ass showed out here and there!😂 He wanted be Nas if he didn’t. I’m thankful Iman and Ramone didn’t give up on each other and please their worries in God’s hand. Prayer is a powerful thing! I gave too much as is.... I didn’t want this book too end like all the others but it was much needed. Although, I didn’t care for a certain wife it did not stop my feelings of being sad when she went on to glory! Nako gurrrlll you’ve done it again!

This was such a great read and it made me see Nas in a brand new light. He maybe a terrible partner but he is an okay dad. I also saw a little growth I him and thought I would never see that. Jordan did a great job with raising Ramone as a man but other than that she is trash. Lo is still Queen supreme in my book and I'm glad she finally let everyone know that including her kids. One thing I loved about Nas and was able to see his selflessness is him being adamant about helping Malachi get out.

I absolutely loved every book in this series. This is one of the best series I’ve ever read. I was hesitant about reading this series but I’m so thankful I did. You took me on a roller coaster of emotions. I loved Lo she was my absolute favorite. I hate that she didn’t end up with Nas but I’m glad she’s hasn’t. I didn’t like Sean so I’m definitely disappointed about their situation. Nas was my second favorite 😍. I definitely didn’t expect Demi to be that wife. I was totally shocked . Thanks for your amazing pen skills!! 🥰

And I’m glad that Nako has made me more in tune with male feelings. I will always be forget Nia and East going forward. I still love Lo and I’m glad that she has grown. Everything

This book was everything I wanted it to be and more! I absolutely love how the women in Nako’s books are strong and mighty! They have their faults and weaknesses but they are strong, God-fearing women who knows how to get a prayer through and encourage each other. I love how she is literally speaking things into existence and manifesting things she wants to happen. This book was for me! For us, NRG and it was well worth the wait.

LOVED THIS!

I love how all the characters had their own personal growth and closure. I admit, I'm going to read any book by Nako. She is such an amazing, engaging real author. I am left feeling as though these are real people in my life, not characters from her books. I would recommend this book and all of her books to be read. You will be disappointed. It's not just reading, it's an experience. Please don't keep us waiting too long for Chi's story. Thank you. Aminah
