An Alpha Billionaire Bad Boy, Curvy Woman Insta-Love Romance.

Peter

I am not ready to settle down; I haven’t finished sowing my wild oats. My father thinks that it is time that I get married, be serious about life. I am not ready for that. I want to go to night clubs and date different women, bungee jump and white-water raft, have fun with my boys.

When my father threatens to cut me out of his will, I cook up an elaborate scheme to fake marry my best friend and childhood neighbor, Kayla

Everything goes to plan until the final piece of my heart that I have been holding back slides into place. I realize that I don’t want this marriage to be fake; I want to marry her for real. I want her to know that when I say my vows tomorrow, that I mean for us to last forever. I realize that I have fallen completely in love with my fake fiancée

Kayla

My phone beeps, and I want to kiss whoever it is. Having dinner with my mother can be excruciating. I know that she loves me, but the constant lecturing on how I need to settle down and make her some grandbabies gets tiring. It is an old refrain and one she seems to have ramped up in the past year.

So, when my childhood neighbor asks me to fake marry him to get both our parents off our backs and to save his inheritance, I jump at the chance to help out.

But the more I think about this wedding, the more I want it to be real. We have known each other most of our lives, and I know that what I feel isn’t just lust; it is real. I am in love with Peter Booth.

“Peter” is a steamy, sweet, and SHORT, alpha billionaire bad boy and curvy woman insta love romance. This is the first story in the Billionaire Bachelors Club series, but it can also be read as a standalone with a sweet HEA. NO cheating. NO cliffhangers. If you love short romances with insta love, hot love scenes, and a cute story, then this one is for you

I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.

Peter loves his life as one of the members of The Billionaire Boys Club, as one of the wealthiest men in the country he has no problems finding a new woman for every day of the week. He had no intention of changing his lifestyle until his father issues an ultimatum find a good woman to marry, so when his friends suggest a solution and one that he thinks can work he decides to put a plan into action, a fake marriage with his best friend Kayla, will she agree to his proposition and does he really only want this to be fake?

Kayla has loved Peter since they were children living next door to one another, and years ago she had the biggest crush on him but seeing the types of women he’s been with over the years she knows that he will never see her as anything other as a friend, she certainly doesn’t fit in with his ideals. So when Peter suggests that they get married to get their parents off their backs she agrees, her mother may even stop hassling her to settle down, but when the feelings she thought were buried forever will she be able to go through with the plan?

Super short read and fantastic start to a new series. Totally safe with no drama just two friend trying to keep their families happy only to discover they make each other happy too. Highly recommended read, Ruth is a fairly new author but her books are a great read and I’m looking forward to reading more from her in the future. 4* read.

This is super fast read in the new series about Billionaire Bachelors who find the woman that complete them They only take about twenty minutes to read so take that into consideration You know that you aren't going to get any deep character growth They are what they are and perfect for when you want something fast and fun

Meanwhile his best friend that he grew up with is in a similar situation she is fed up with her mother continually harassing her about getting married and giving her grand children They think up the the perfect solution they will have a fake relationship and marriage The only thing is they best laid plans don't always work and soon these two are both developing feelings for one another now with the marriage about to happen can they both admit that they actually want it to be for real and forever

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
Peter is book one in the ‘’billionaire bachelor’s club’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. Peter is the first book of Ruth Colby’s that I have read. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. In order to remain in his fathers will, Peter needs to find a wife. Kayla is fed up of her mother pressuring her to find a man and get married. When her best friend, Peter comes up with an idea what will she say?
The chemistry between Peter and Kayla is clear to see and I liked them together. I thought they made a cute couple.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

This is quick Friends to Lovers story that is a delight to read that warms your heart. Peter is a part of the Billionaire Bachelors Club enjoying his life, when his father decides put a twist on things. Looking for an easy way out he asks his friend Kayla to help.

What I enjoyed about this story is that the character did not draw out hiding their feeling and second guessing. They talked it out and worked together. Peter and Kayla have an amazing backstory as they have been friends for years.

This is a great series with little drama but a lot of heart.

Short sweet Alpha Billionaire story. Peter has to marry in order to get his inheritance He's not ready to be tied to a ball and chain. There are still adventures he wants to do. He calls his best childhood neighbor and asks her to fake marry him she jumps at the chance because her Mom is giving her the same story. Problem is right before the wedding Peter gets hit with a thunderbolt and wants a real marriage. Kayla has come to the same conclusion. Will they be able to figure it out before exchanging the rings? Read and find out. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Peter is giving an ultimatum by his father to get married or loss his inheritance.
Kayla's mother is hounding her to get married. Neither one want to get married. Peters friend makes a suggestion to fake marry Kayla since their best friends. Peter makes the suggestion and Kayla goes along with it. Little does each other know that they both have very strong feelings for each other so before the fake wedding, Peter confession to Kayla that he wants it to be real.

It’s funny. Not the story but the fact that we are in love with our best friend but can’t see it. If it wasn’t for family and friends, we never would. Our one true love was also our best friend. Everybody else could see the love. Yup. We sure are funny. As they say, “can’t see the first for the trees”. A different sort of love story but so refreshing and satisfying that this is one book you’ll want to read over and over again.

Though being told different by their parents and friends for years, Kayla & Peter have always known for sure that they would never be a good romantic fit together. However, a fake engagement/marriage arrangement suddenly throws all that certainty out the window.

I love friends-to-lovers tropes, and this one delivered in this aspect. Friends for several years, Kayla & Peter already had a strong foundation on which to develop their new romantic relationship.

A quick, cute read.

A great start to this new series. The story flows well, the characters are engaging and have great chemistry. Peter must get married to keep his inheritance. Kayla's mom wants her married. So when it is suggested to fake married to make everyone happy, who knew it would be for real. Looking forward to see where this series will go.
