I Watched Him Fall For Someone Else
I was 21. I just got out of college. I wanted to explore the world. I wanted to go to the US and travel around Europe. Tapos maiyak at matakot kasi naliligaw ako sa isang bansa na hindi ako pamilyar. At siguro, tumira sa Thailand for a year or two.
I also wanted to work three jobs at a time. Gusto kong maranasan na mahirapan sa pagbabayad ng rent sa apartment. Gusto kong makaaway iyong landlady ko kasi ubod ng sungit. I also wanted to adopt a dog and complain because I couldn't take care of it.
He wanted to settle down but I wanted to do so many things in my life. Magkaiba iyong priorities namin.
Still, I asked him to wait. That maybe after a year or two, we could talk about it again. Ang selfish ko pero gusto ko kasi na kapag ayos na ako, nandyan pa rin siya. There's the comfort in knowing that after all of this, he's still there, waiting for me.
But two years, seven days, three hours, five minutes, and thirty seconds later, I was in a church.

Minsan lang ako makabasa ng character na sobrang tatag. Tipong di agad madali masway ng feelings. Favorite ko si Nari. Sobrang gusto ko mga desisyon niya. Kahit nabuntis siya ng lalaking di niya kilala noong una, grabe parin paninindigan niya sa kung sino siya. Nakakainspire ang pagkagawa sa character niya. Napakapalaban. Sakanya ko namirror kung anong life values ko. Masarap basahin paulit-ulit. Sobrang justified ang character na ito.

My favorite book among all the Beeyotch stories I’ve read. Live, love, super laugh Blaine Preston Suarez.
Not too heavy, unlike other series.
Nari’s such a tough woman, going through pregnancy and giving birth alone without her family beside her. I love how Nari tried to understand Mother Biscuit from her perspective as a mother, and understandable rin si Preston if he doesn’t feel secure sa love ni Imo kay Shi because of the actions ng mga adults and yung pagpipilit nila sa Imo × Parker Jr. I also loved the way she said that in the end, everything eventually falls into place after everything that happened to her after breaking up with Benny. Medyo ewan lang siya sa part na she kept on saying na bata pa si Preston at immature, pero binato naman niya ng kaldero at pinatid HAHAHAHA.
I also loved the way Sari sacrificed her life here in the PH para ma-help si Nari na itago yung pregnancy sa mother nila. We love her for that! The Sari × Preston relationship was amazing, wherein he stands not only as a brother but also as a father kay Sari.
The love Preston has for Nari and how he feels sorry since he wasn’t there throughout Nari’s pregnancy and ibang moments with John since he was born, kahit puro sila bardugulan at nababato ng kaldero. Never niya pinaapi kahit kanino si Nari, and the way he fought for her and John kay Mother Biscuit (imbyerna sa part na inaway niya si Nari). Sad for Preston since he had issues sa ex because of past relationship ni Imo and Parker Sr., and nadala niya sa relationship nila. BUT he’s sooo funny lol, him and his hate for GDL HAHHAHAHAH.
My ultimate comfort story ever. I won’t get tired of rereading this lol.

ayaw ko sa lahat yung masyadong mahabang book kasi may mga unnecessary pang bagay-bagay kaya nagulat ako noong halos hindi pa nga umabot sa 200 pages ito. kaya noong binasa ko, halos 2-3 hrs lang. what can i say? i can say that akala ko sad story siya! type na type ko si benny, imagine huhuhu husband material na talaga, teh! I EVEN ASJED MY 10 YR OLD SISTER IF HIHIWALAYAN NIYA IF MAY MAKILALA SIYANG KATULAD NI BENNY. AFTER READING IT, I REALIZED NA THE MORE U HATE THE MORE U LOVE TALAGA. Type ko si Benny pero noong nasa kalagitnaan na noong istorya, I realized na si Nari ay para kay Preston at si Preston para kay Nari. Ayaw ko sa nakaiiritang male lead pero may something kay Preston na talagang attractive para sa akin. Imagine, makulit guy siya pero walang alam sa adult things at family and church ang tutok siya! NAKO NARI, NILIGTAS MO NGA YATA ANG MUNDO NOON HUHUHUH. I DON'T LIKE SPOILERS KAYA 'YAN NA LANG MUNA PERO I ENJOYED IT. NABITIN AK SHUTAAAA. 4-BISCUIT-STARS!
This is one of my favorite books by the author! I re-read this a lot of times! The plot was simple and quite predictable, but something about Nari and Preston's story really made me love them so much! It was over-the-top silly, but it made me laugh so many times!
I Watched Him Fall For Someone Else is a read I would definitely recommend when you are in the mood for a feel-good read, full of laughter, silliness, and as well as laugh-out-loud dialogues.

i didnt expect much about how ms. ariesa wrote this book because i know this is one of her older books.
overall, the relationship buildup was good! i loved how nari and preston just fits each other.

One of my favorite stories written by Beeyotch is something I’ve read so many times—it’s my comfort story. Whenever I want to laugh, feel kilig, or be reminded of life’s values, I go back to it. The truth is, I bought this book in 2021, along with the POV version of Preston.

Love this book so much! Though I hated mama imogen for what she is doing to Preston and Nari. It still doesn't change the fact that I fall in love with this book.
