Great ending as the story builds.

I can’t tell you how many books I have read by this author now but I can tell you that she puts a unique spin on every single character. I love that she’s able to give us strong women who can handle these tough, hard to crack yet vulnerable men.
The connection that she brings between her characters is so special that you just get sucked into her vortex. You can feel the layers upon layers of detail that are brought into the story. Suspenseful situations, complex characters with heart, soul, and passion. It is not just the characters that have these qualities, but you can tell that Jones herself does as well.
None of the characters in the Walker Security series are perfect. But what is perfect is the way they find that one true spark in that person that’s meant just for them.
Through suspenseful situations, crime, and other immediate threats, they still can find that hot, spicy passionate connection that binds the story and the characters together. You are immediately drawn in for the ride.
While this story is in the middle of a trilogy, it is meaty and volatile in every way. Once again we get a story that is totally addictive, intense, and deliciously hot. Jones delivers in a big way!

WHAT A RIDE!
We pick up right where book one ended and wow what a ride we are on!
This book has a lot of twists and turns and flashbacks that are very relevant to what is happening only they need to decipher on how.
Adrian is more determined than ever to testify against Waters, the President of the Texas King's Motorcycle Club, especially with the way things are playing out in this book. You really never know who you can trust, other than the men with Walker Security of course, friends, family, coworkers, it's all a guessing game. Now it's time for Pri to figure out if she has been trusting the right people or not!

Book 2 of 3. Must read When He's Dirty first.
This one picks up right where the last one ended, so the cliffhanger from the previous book is addressed quickly.
However, the story didn’t move forward much. The I Love You’s came in this book and a new little twist was added. But it was mostly the same…..trying to stay alive and figure out a way to stop the bad guys. It just felt like a bunch of repetitive filler.
So far, I’m not sold on the fact that it takes three books to tell this story.

5 GIVE ME MORE STARS!! This is one action packed book that kept me flipping pages. Adrian and Pri will hit all your sexiness button and more. These two have one check of a story to tell you, so sit back and listen.

This picks up exactly where book one ends. Adrian and Pri are on the run and this story bursts with action and high drama as they begin to pluck at threads that might lead them to solidifying Pri’s case against Waters while ensuring the safety of the witnesses. Along the way there are more revelations, more questions, and more danger.
Mixed will all the action and mystery is the evolving relationship between Adrian and Pri as they work out the emotional obstacles that would separate them. This couple absolutely sizzle and I loved the way they deal with their issues.
This was a fast read that had me engaged from the first page. It never bogged down as things were constantly moving, changing and revealing new information. I can’t wait for book three and the completion of this trilogy!

I am not completely sure how this story will get to a happily-ever-after for Adrian and Priscilla. I don’t see anything good happening. I don’t see how Adrian comes out of this story alive. But, the Walker Security crew have always found a way to unjam the jams to bring an end to injustices and give us an HEA that is worthy of the characters.
Both Adrian and Priscilla are complex characters that bring different yet similar aspects to this story. Pasts that are both happy and sad. Family that you could take or leave. One looking for acknowledgment the other looking to right the wrongs. And you would never expect Adrian and Priscilla to be a power couple. You wouldn’t think that these two characters could work. But, they do. They actually compliment each other. Adrian’s bad to Priscilla’s good. An alpha male with a strong-willed, amazing woman. Ms. Jones knows how to make her male characters sexy, sweet and yielding. Her female characters with a sense of self, know their worth and know their mind … and not afraid to voice their opinion or wants. This is totally what I expect to read when I pick up a Lisa Renee story.
Suspense and love … hate, treachery … characters that shine … love that pours off the pages. A man that will do whatever he needs to do to keep his woman safe. A woman that will make sure her man knows that he’s good … not bad. Adrian’s

So much intrigue! This author really has a knack for keeping her readers on their toes. We're getting closer to the big reveal of all the people under Waters thumb. I find myself constantly weighing the words and actions of everyone in this to find out who is genuine and who is lying. It makes for a very fast read. And of course this ends on a cliffhanger! I need book 3 ASAP!
Read book 1 first. Book 2 picks up right where 1 leaves off. We get growth in Adriane and Pri's new relationship, and of course all the guessing back and forth on who is on what side. Plus we get tons of Walker Security men!

This one picks up right where the last one ended, a good thing because it ended in a crazy confrontation. Things went bad quickly and Pri and Adrian were on the run and some twisted truths came out. Twisted because they were true, but the person saying them didn't give the whole story with what happened, which left Pri and Adrian a bit at odds. It took them a bit to work through thing, but they did.
I liked how the rest of the Walker team worked with Adrian and Pri. Sadly it's gotten to the point where I don't trust anyone in Pri's life and neither does Walker. This one ends on quite the cliff hanger again. I'm looking forward to the next book to see how things shake out and just who has been betraying Pri, I have a feeling the list will be long.

Where is book three??? I need it stat lol.
When He's Bad was thrilling and oh so good! I was hooked to these pages and could not stop! I even stayed up until 4am with no regrets.
Adrian and Pri just sizzle the pages! Their struggles and strife just make them destined to be. The chemistry was already off the charts, but this books makes them an inferno!
The action and drama will have you turning the pages as fast as you can because you have to know what will happen next! Out of the Walker Security, Adrian has become a new obsession for me <3 #BookRec2020

Although it was for the greater good Adrian has regrets for the actions he was required to take while undercover. With the help of Walker Security, he and Priscilla find themselves working together as they try to ensure the safety of themselves and everyone involved but determining who is friend and who is foe could be the biggest challenge of all.
When her relationship started with Adrian, he was only her witness but the more time she spends with him and the more she learns about him the deeper her feelings are for him. As the intrigue escalates around them so does the heat between them which leads to a cliffhanger that leaves us wanting more.

This was as good as the first book with same intensity and wondering how Adrian and Pricilla will get out of this alive
This book gave me more insight as to who I think is involved and will to kill anyone to save themselves and Waters and I am shocked and mad but also feel for Pricilla to learn her parents maybe are involved and they could actually cause their one child’s death.
I can’t wait to listen to the final book to see how this all plays out and if Adrian and Pricilla can be together in the end.
Narrators did a fantastic job telling this story.

Buckle up baby!! You are in for a wild ride! This book picks up right where book one left off so you have to read that story before you even attempt to read this one. In this story it’s building on the relationships between the MCs, the emotional and physical connection plus the flashbacks which will help the reader understand. This is a solid middle book of the trilogy which includes suspense, drama and twists and turns.

Starts right where book 1 ends and its one heck of a ride. There running and Pri and so much is happening and exploding around them. Secrets are coming out and Pri isn't sure who she can trust. Pri and Adrian's relationship is also all over the place ... Adrian will give you some whiplash with his emotions. These two definitely have chemistry and now we need book 3 to get all the answers.

This second installment in the Walker Security: Adrian trilogy picks up right where book one left off, with Adrian and Priscilla facing down mortal danger, but first a brief recap of book one:
Sparks flew between Priscilla Miller and Adrian Mack AKA Ramos when the former FBI agent came out of hiding because word on the street was that the pretty ADA desperately needed his testimony to bring down Nick Waters, the notorious president of the Texas King’s MC. Witnesses were dropping like flies, and after spending two years deep undercover in the criminal organization, Adrian was the key to securing a conviction against “the Devil.” But the duo’s passionate and professional alliance came with a slew of trouble. Nevertheless, they were determined to make Waters pay for his crimes at all costs. However, when Walker Security intel divulged that they both had a huge target on their backs, they sought sanctuary in Adrian’s remote family cabin to regroup. But trouble came a knockin’ in a bone chilling cliffy!
Which brings us to the PRESENT story…. In the aftermath of the bloody altercation, Adrian and Priscilla manage to escape and are forced to go on the run. MY MUSINGS:
WHEN HE’S BAD was ON FIRE! Pulsating with high octane emotion, riveting action and suspense, and scorching hot sensuality, this heart gripping page turner enthralled me from page one!
As danger and desire converge, the tumultuous tension fraught union between Adrian and Priscilla soars to incredible heights! This couple positively sizzles together--there is a RAW INTENSITY and soul searing intimacy to this coupling that just took my breath away. But even as their passionate bond deepens by the day, they are faced with some impossible dilemmas along the way as they are forced to go underground. Which brings some unresolved trust issues between them to the fore. But what I LOVE about this story—and really all of LRJ’s romances—is how their relationship is constantly evolving. And this couple does NOT let their emotional tug of war tear them asunder! Sure, they are headstrong and passionate and frequently square off on how to handle the chaos swirling around them-- but no matter what they are always a united front. And there was never a doubt in my mind that they would be each other’s end game. But before that can happen, they have to put a very bad man behind bars and smoke out his cohorts as well!
As with all her books, LRJ always manages to throw in many adrenaline pumping twists and turns into her plots, but she also infuses her characters with so many complex layers that you feel like you have a magnifying glass into their beautifully damaged souls. The hero and heroine might be drop dead gorgeous on the outside. But inside? They are FAR from perfect. Both are riddled with insecurities and flaws, and are each wrestling with some dark demons as they put everything on the line to take down Waters,

I really adored the wonderful sense of camaraderie and family that’s evoked in this book—most especially the close-knit bond between Adrian and the Walkers Security crew (headed up by Adam and my fave wisecracking bodyguard, Rick Savage). And I am really intrigued by Lucifer, Walker Security’s blond, tatted playboy pilot...and future hero I presume! But..eep..prepare yourself for another jaw dropping cliffy!

PREMISE:
This second installment in the Walker Security: Adrian trilogy picks up right where book one left off, with Adrian and Priscilla facing down mortal danger, but first a brief recap of book one:
Sparks flew between Priscilla Miller and Adrian Mack AKA Ramos when the former FBI agent came out of hiding because word on the street was that the pretty ADA desperately needed his testimony to bring down Nick Waters, the notorious president of the Texas King’s MC. WHEN HE’S BAD was ON FIRE! Pulsating with high octane emotion, riveting action and suspense, and scorching hot sensuality, this heart gripping page turner enthralled me from page one!
As danger and desire converge, the tumultuous tension fraught union between Adrian and Priscilla soars to incredible heights! This couple positively sizzles together--there is a RAW INTENSITY and soul searing intimacy to this coupling that just took my breath away. But even as their passionate bond deepens by the day, they are faced with some impossible dilemmas along the way as they are forced to go underground. Which brings some unresolved trust issues between them to the fore. But what I LOVE about this story—and really all of LRJ’s romances—is how their relationship is constantly evolving. And this couple does NOT let their emotional tug of war tear them asunder! Sure, they are headstrong and passionate and frequently square off on how to handle the chaos swirling around them-- but no matter what they are always a united front. And there was never a doubt in my mind that they would be each other’s end game. But before that can happen, they have to put a very bad man behind bars and smoke out his cohorts as well!
As with all her books, LRJ always manages to throw in many adrenaline pumping twists and turns into her plots, but she also infuses her characters with so many complex layers that you feel like you have a magnifying glass into their beautifully damaged souls. The hero and heroine might be drop dead gorgeous on the outside. But inside? They are FAR from perfect. Both are riddled with insecurities and flaws, and are each wrestling with some dark demons as they put everything on the line to take down Waters,

Yay. Adrian is starting to see that he is not a horrible bad person. Does he have guilt still? Yes. Does he have demons? yes. Is he like his brother Alex was? No way..Alex was a piece of work as we see from Adrian’s memories. That man was bad and what he did was horrible.
This book picks up right where the first stopped. Thank heavens for that. The first leaves you in a cliffy. And you do need to read the first to get an inkling of a clue for this one. Adrian and Pri are in deep doodoo. Their friend is dead or I think he is, you never know with Lisa. Deleon is there and they are wondering who betrayed them and will they live.
This is where the fun and twists come into play. These two go through a lot in this book. It’s so much fun trying to see who is betraying them and working with Waters and who isn’t. There are so many that can be and some you question and so do Adrian and Pri. And all the damage that Waters can do to Adrian and is wowza. That is one evil man even from prison. If Adrian testifies his life is destroyed and he is a hunted man. He is hunted now but will be more if he testifies. But if he can testify without cameras and in a limited capacity he is a little more safe. No good choices for that boy. Especially since he is in love with Pri. He needs immunity but it is federal immunity that will help him the most only that is a quagmire even though all that he did was when he was undercover and he should have that but Waters has some deep pockets and some powerful people in those deep pockets.
Pri is facing her own crisis with family. She finally learns to trust the Walker security completely. But when this occurs, her life is muddled with revelations about her mom and dad. Her memories are mysterious and dark and have you wonder. The one I especially wonder about is her mom and just what her dad knows completely. And what was that mysterious line from Logan all about. That boy is all kinds of messed up in this mess. He is not a good man. Why Pri is doing what she is doing is beyond me. She is playing a dangerous came of cat and mouse with him and I think it will get her hurt in the end. To me this comes down to Adrian and Waters. The battle is those two and I can’t wait for that.

Memories that reveal clues to this mess but also leave you hanging. A romance that is sizzling between Pri and Adrian but does have rough moments as Adrian in the beginning questions himself still. So glad when he has his aha moments about himself. Love how he is there no matter what for Pri. Those to are smokin awesome hot together. And the ending wow just wow. I think that this is really going to come down to a battle between Adrian and Waters and I am so psyched to see that happen. A great enthralling book that I could not put down that is filled with reveals, danger, twists and turns, betrayals and love. Love between Pri and Adrian and love between Adrian and the Walker security team. So want the next book.

No one is safe, and anything that was a secret before isn’t one now. Where Adrian thought he could be safe for a few moments turns out to be right on the radar of the assassins and now an FBI agent has been murdered in front of them, and they’re fighting for their lives. Deleon found them and that doesn’t bode well.
We start this second book off on such a roller coaster. Adrian and Pri are running for their lives again, literally. Now running to a secret cave that Adrian had as a backup safe house in case something compromised the safe house cabin that his father had set up all those years before. Adrian believes that his brother Alex, the dirty agent also in the Devils was the one who shared the cabin’s location but that means nothing especially since Alex is dead.
Walker comes to the rescue in a sense and we’re back at another safe house with Blake, Savage and Lucifer. They’re trying to come up with a plan that keeps Adrian safe and alive, while also protecting Pri and her entire staff. At the same time, they’re watching every move by Pri’s family since there’s a connection to Waters that’s unbelievable. Pri doesn’t want to believe that her family is involved, but it’s become clear that Logan, her ex-fiance is the one that brought her family into the fold and the one that that’s going to be the ruin of them.
Throughout this story we watch the relationship between Adrian and Pri grow stronger. They clearly have feelings for one another that outshines anything that they’ve felt before, and that’s also a problem since it makes them both a target. Pri’s afraid that it’ll compromise the case and that means another delay if they take her off the case or if there’s a conflict. Adrian’s worried that she won’t be alive to follow the case through and the Walker team have endless more concerns.
What we find throughout this story is that anyone that we thought was good likely isn’t. We’re forced to question everyone in Pri’s office and everyone who’s put themselves into that world since they all seem to be a bit suspect and a bit dirty. I”m excited to see how it plays out.
Along with all that angst and fear though, we get the expected chemistry and heat that I’ve come to know and love from our author Lisa Renee Jones. There’s a chemistry that’s almost desperate between them and it makes for some intense steamy scenes since they’re always afraid that the moment is their last. I really hope that something good will come out of the situation, but we all know that more people will end up dead before that happens.
Also, true to LRJ form, we now know that Lucifer will get a story and she’s introduced Mason, another Walker guy who will no doubt get his own story too. I’m excited to see how things evolve since this is one of my favorite string of series

Adrian and Priscilla are back for the second instalment in their story and this picks up exactly where 'When He's Dirty' left off.
This was fast paced and kept me on the edge of my seat. There was a lot of physical danger involved in this book, alongside the psychological danger that is never far aware. It was smart, sexy and full of suspense as they try to bring down the bad guys...if they can work out who they are.
Adrian has always struggled with what he had to do whilst undercover and this was apparent in the way he kept himself slightly removed from the Walker Security family. It is fortunate for him that they see has one of their own and will protect and stand by their family. His own self-worth is on show again throughout this as more of what he did is revealed, leaving him feeling like Priscilla will run away from him at the first chance. He feels unworthy of her. This couldn't be further from the truth and, whilst what is revealed is a shock to her, she recognises his strength of character in taking those actions. The fact that he is remorseful and uncomfortable with his actions demonstrates his strength and courage.
Priscilla's battles come from not knowing who to trust as there is suspicious actions by people on her own team, her family are behaving oddly and her ex is trying to convince her to drop the case. But one thing is crystal clear to Priscilla and that is that Adrian and his family will protect her.
If you are hoping for a nice gentle ending to this then you will be disappointed. Once again Lisa Renee Jones has left me shouting at my kindle for more. I really, really can't wait to get my hands on the conclusion to this trilogy.

When He’s Bad picked up exactly where When He’s Dirty ended – and that’s a good thing because that ending… Which means that the opening scenes in the second book in Adrian’s Trilogy are intense. That intensity never really slows down throughout the book.
Pri and Adrian spend a fair amount of time in the beginning of When He’s Bad out of sync. It’s not a place either one of them want to be, but the reality of their situation is a threat to themselves and everyone around them. It becomes hard to tell who they can trust, but in their hearts they know that they can trust each other. Adrian’s problem is that he doesn’t want Pri’s trust in him to get her killed.
There are a lot of players in this series. Sometimes it’s even hard for the even the reader to tell the good guys from the bad. The Walker Security men and the people they surround themselves with are a given, but no one else’s loyalty can be trusted. There are new twists, turns, revelations and danger around every corner. So much so that it was pretty much impossible to put down.
Adrian will do anything to keep Pri safe and Pri is determined to do the same for Adrian. Which means the bad guys need to go down.
It should come as no surprise that When He’s Bad ends in another cliff hanger. When He’s Wild comes out in March of 2021, which isn’t a long wait, but it’s still not going to be an easy one. In the mean time I suppose I can spend some time getting to know the rest of the Walker Security men a little better. There are more than enough to keep me busy. 😉

I was pulled right into this story. This is a 3-part story so be prepared to get all three parts. The story has laughs, pain, secrets, suspense, and naughty fun.
Part one was the start of Priscilla and Adrian’s story. He was deep undercover but now that the investigation is over, he not sure who he is anymore. He joins the Walker security team. She is the Assistant DA and trying to convict the man he took down. But her witnesses are dying, and she is slowly feeling her case fall apart. She needs him and he needs her, but can they survive when man accused is trying to take them both out. Some who they thought were friends are not, but can they uncover the enemies before it’s too late?
This is more of Priscilla and Adrian’s story. What started out as enemy has turned into obsession. But will all the surrounding lies, secrets, and so-called friends bring too much danger to these two? What happens when the passion and the danger are both at a all time high? Which will win out? Can you really protect someone when danger is as close as a so-called friend?
You should understand that this is a three-part book, and you will need all three parts. The first two will end in cliffhangers and leave you with more questions than answers. You will need to get all three books to get the answers you will need. I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

And let me tell you, it’s another doozy!
Pri, Adrian, and the Walker Security men are all trying to take down Nick Waters, the corrupt leader of the Texas Kings MC. However, Waters and his men are making it very difficult for them. At one point, Pri and Adrian had to go underground to hide for their safety. Pri and Adrian soon realize that they can’t trust anyone outside of the Walker Security team. Can they determine who has already been corrupted by Waters before it’s too late?
I got to tell you that I seriously love all of the Walker Security men, but honestly, Adrian’s story is one that I’ve been looking forward to reading. Adrian is such a strong, tough alpha male, but he’s also insecure about his past. I just love the duality that he conveys, and in my opinion, it makes him even sexier!
I freaking love this series, and I can’t wait for the conclusion to Adrian and Pri’s story!

At one point, Pri and Adrian had to go underground to hide for their safety. Pri and Adrian soon realize that they can’t trust anyone outside of the Walker Security team. Can they determine who has already been corrupted by Waters before it’s too late?
I got to tell you that I seriously love all of the Walker Security men, but honestly, Adrian’s story is one that I’ve been looking forward to reading. Adrian is such a strong, tough alpha male, but he’s also insecure about his past. I just love the duality that he conveys, and in my opinion, it makes him even sexier!
I freaking love this series, and I can’t wait for the conclusion to Adrian and Pri’s story!

WHEN HE’S BAD is the second book in the Walker Security: Adrian’s Trilogy. This trilogy must be read in the order of release.
As with most trilogies, the second book is all about building emotion and connection. This book is full of passion, twists, turns, and flashbacks that help the reader to understand the legal ramifications, the suspenseful drama as it unfolds, and the romantic relationship as it is growing.
I love Pri and Adrian. They are not looking at life with rose-colored glasses. Instead, they are both strong, capable alphas comfortable in their own lives. That means when the hits come – they talk. They are mature. This is what I like about alpha protagonists. No wimps here!
I love the wonderful descriptions that allow every scene to be painted before my eyes as if they were a movie written just for me. Of course there was a cliff-hanger. That just means I am already planning to have the popcorn and soda ready when the next one is released.

I loved this the second book in Adrian's trilogy. We find Adrian and Pri aka Priscilla Miller on the run and getting closer and closer. There are secrets between the both of them. Both them have been lied to and betrayed but the story has an excellent plot and is gripping from start to the cliffhanger ending. I love that it takes off where book one left off. You have Pri and Adrian on the run. Who do you trust outside of Walker Security when everyone is coming out dirty. Adrian always with the dad jokes to ease a moment. I wonder if Lucifer will get his story. I would buy it and read it, seems to me that he is a real character and the role he plays for Walker Security makes me want to know more about him. Well I hope you read Book One because I will tell you that is even better than the introduction of Pri and Adrian's story. Royce and Lauren Blake's brother and sister in law are involved in this story and I get excited when members of the Walker Security team are involved in the book. I loved this book and I am going to say get this book I highly recommend it, I want to leave this review so that you can be as excited about this series of book as I have been so far. I highly recommend this book. If you have been a fan of Lisa Renee Jones as I have been then you will love this Adrian's Trilogy Book 2.

The plot thickens, who to trust? Adrian, Pri and the whole Walker Security team are getting close to the answers they seek, but will it be in time?
Priscilla – Pri is a strong complete powerhouse and she knows what she needs to do to free Adrian, now all she needs to do is convince him of that.
Adrian is truly trying to rain it in, but Waters is coming for what he holds dear. Family. He will do what he needs to do to protect them.
Pri and Adrian keep the heat flowing in and out of the bedroom. Both trying to hold it together. Adrian giving Pri the space to do her job. Pri holding onto Adrian’s promise it will end soon. Normal is their magic place. Lisa Renee Jones I think Adrian might be my new favorite. lol
The supporting characters are amazing as always, the Walker Security Team is always top notch. Even Waters the King Devil has me intrigued. I have questions about the parents, but I will see if what I think holds true. The plot is done at its finest. Lisa Renee Jones puts enough intrigue and danger in When He’s Bad to keep you on the edge of your seat, along with a great mixed family bond add in stark white hot passion that will curl your toes. I can’t wait for the finale.

Cinematographic action triggers the second book in Adrian's trilogy. This bad man and the assistant district attorney run for their lives in heart-pounding scenes. I absolutely loved the vivid description of those first chapters.
Danger of all kinds shadow them, yet it turns out that his demons haunt Adrian to scare Pri away and they suffer an agonizing break of intimacy. I think this author's characters always bring heavy family relationships along for the ride and that enriches their profile enormously.
It was so engaging to find out things about Adrian's past.
Additionally, Priscilla finds out a bunch of unsavoury news about her own family bonds. The criminal Waters is proving to stain everyone involved in the case against him, and Walker Security are drawing on all their resources and wit and combined muscle to keep Pri and Adrian afloat. Add this to the couple's flaming passion and growing love, and the pace becomes wild and breathless.
This is a solid middle book. Intense, suspenseful, secretive. I enjoyed the evolution of the case and the relationship, and that cliffhanger was thrilling. Also, is Lucifer going to get a book of his own? I'd approve :-)
