Beautiful, intelligent, law student Kiyomi Williams thinks she has her life all figured out. Relationships are the furthest thing from her mind. But that didn't stop her from using men to get what she wants. That was until she meets Adonis, a self-proclaimed boss from the streets of Jersey. Within weeks of meeting, Adonis changes her life in ways that one could only dream of. However, will it come at a cost? Will Kiyomi be able to withstand the complications that come with being in love with a boss? Or will she fold under pressure? The headstrong, yet unstable Paige decides to pursue a career as a therapist. She’s that one friend who could dish it but couldn’t take it. Paige has been on her own since the age of 18. With parents like hers, who needs enemies. After a slight falling out with her best friends, Paige was a loner; until she ran into Genesis for the second time. Fate? Maybe. But either way, she was ready to have something in her life that was worth fighting for. Picking up and leaving Baltimore to follow her man, she starts to question his loyalty when his job calls for him to be away. Can their love concur all or is she just not cut out to be a boss's wife? Simple, yet satisfying, that’s what Kammie always thought of herself. Determined to live a life better than the one her parents had, she did whatever she needed to do to ensure her life was as perfect to her as possible. Meeting Romello was what she liked to consider, the best thing that ever happened to her. What she didn’t expect was to deal with the drama that came with loving him. Yet, her heart never allowed her to walk away. Realizing that her man was a boss in his own right, Kammie found herself questioning how much she could take. Fighting to rebuild her relationship with her two best friends and save her relationship, she learns exactly how much strength she really has. Was that strong enough to help her overcome all the obstacles associated with being married to a boss? Three women. Three bosses. Follow Kiyomi, Paige, and Kammie as they discover if they have what it takes to be the Wife of A Boss?

A Boss's Wife

Theresa Reese, Mz. Biggs and Tasha Mack did an amazing job with this book. This book had me cracking up cause I'm sure all six of these characters can get a check. My favorite characters are Paige and Adonis although I love them all. Kammie and Romello are the first of the clan. On the outside looking in you would think they were relationship goals. They both had successful jobs and a nice house but Mello had a problem with his zipper. Kammie was a hypocrite to me. She had such a problem with cheaters to where she was ready to fight her best friend Kiyomi for messing with her married brother but her husband had a broke zipper. She like to hit below the belt alot to. When she called her Paige a liar, I was stuck with my mouth open. Yo family ain't always right cause they yo family. I like Adonis and Kiyomi together. He knew she use to be a lil hoe but he never treated her like one. They banter kept me laughing. Kiyomi was looking for love in all the wrong places, but she was loyal and real. I thought Adonis was the best one but all of the lil f$ck ups. Now Paige and Genesis is the most dysfunctional of the duos. Being the daughter of a pimp and a hoe Paige got problems and a mouth to go with it. Genesis is just bipolar as hell. I couldn't believe some of the things that would come out his mouth. I couldn't believe he was the one from her graduation party. One thing about them tho is they some bosses that don't mind putting in work when need to be and with they wives by their side. If you looking for a banging five star read then you better grab The Autobiography Of A Boss's Wife cause this is where it's at.💌💌

Good

I have always given truthful reviews. This book I had trouble starting out, I guess it was hard for me to grasp how someone's parents could treat them so bad.
From my perspective on Paige I think she was the goat foreal because she could have really been mentally messed up from having those two nothing parents, even though this is a fictional story I am so sure this is a true story for someone.
Cammie was someone that I watched grow in maturity, which was good.
Kiyomi learned how to love herself and not feel like she was wrong in doing it. Ended up loving the ladies.
Now, the men they were a piece of work although, I loved how they grew from street or in Romello case thinking he was slick to great men.
Romello, knew he loved Cammie but just took for granted she would always be available and with all his mess.
Genesis, on the other hand had never cared about another person until Paige, yes, he did things for her without thing about the outcome but he did it from his heart. I really loved his character.
Adonis, oh Adonis, how did a smart mouth street Thug turn to a husband, friend and father that not only stood his ground on what he wanted but also knew when to listen and to take heed. So glad the men realized the women in their lives were worth having and the women not only learned how to love themselves but they learned how to love each other unconditionally and the men that were in their lives.

Good Read

Kammie reuniting with Kiyomi and Paige for her wedding was a great thing but it also brought about some drama, treachery, snake's, and lies. Paige mouth was reckless as hell. I understand that she had some underlying issues from her childhood but Genesis had his hands full with her. Kiyomi should have just told Kammie the truth about Korey but since she didn't. All broke loose at Kammie wedding. Adonis was good for Kiyomi. He slowed her down and showed her what love really is but he also ended up bringing drama that had all their lives in danger. Part of that drama was because he had a snake around him and the fact he tried to help Remello. Remello sneaky ass know he had a good woman at home. He was doing Kammie wrong but it caught up with him. Kammie wasn't a angel either. For one I didn't like how she did Paige when Paige told her what her brother did. Secondly her trying to get revenge on Remello put everybody else life as risk.

BOSSED UP

I'm here for it! Three friends from the gutter taking totally different directions in life! By chance, a message of faith brought them back together and stronger than ever before. Whew Lord when Kiyomi met Adonis, I just knew he was BAE! Paige parents really ain't s***. I don't feel sorry they were killed. I just hate Paige witnessed it. Genesis oh Genesis. They always say what's meant to be will be no matter how long it takes. That darn Romello 🤦🏾‍♀️ he who wants all gets none! Idk what kind of sick crap Chase was on but thankfully he didnt live to tell the tale. The fact that these three women came across men that would do any and everything to protect them proved why they were ride or die! Roscoe thought he had it made in the shade but thankfully Adonis had Lady Kiyomi guiding him to see him clear the other side. Loved loved loved this crew and surely they proved the pros and cons of being a BOSS'S wife!

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

This book was definitely a page turner from start to finish. Paige parents burnt my soul pimping their daughter, 🤦🏾‍♀️. At the graduation party I didn’t like how they disregarded Paige feelings when she told them what her parents had in store for her. Paige was definitely the firecracker of the crew and my favorite but Kiyomi was my second favorite character. Kiyomi went from sleeping around with a married man to being treated like a queen with Adonis. Kammie was a spoiled brat. Glad her wedding to Romello reunited the friends.Man I was so shocked Kammie had her brother kidnap her to get back at her husband for sleeping with Dina. After the kidnapping and murder of Dina the three couples became thick as thieves. It was so cute that Kiyomi and Kammie gave birth on the same day. Man this book was everything

Man

Okae Adonis didn’t play when it was something he wanted he went for it hands down! Ain’t no way he go to kiyomi house after he meet her and then boom they calling each other bae! He stepped in and showed out and kept what he wanted me romello was a hoe who thought he was gonna have his cake and eat it to lol! He did love Jamie he just had a crazy way of showing it! But hunnie when he thought she was cheating and he crying lol that was funny to me! Now genius and Paige I liked them! Who would of thought the Dj at her graduation party would end up being her husband! When he seen her again he was ready to lock that down! They all are good dudes and I love that once Adonis gave his drug job over to rosco you never heard about it again! These men all did different things but one thing they did was come together because of their women and build a great brother hood!

This was a great read but there were a few mistakes throughout the book. Three friends that fell out over a misunderstanding came back together like nothing happened. They still had their ups and downs but always apologized and went right back to being sisters. They met three guys that changed their lives for better. I was glad Adonis listened to Kiyomi because she truly saved him. Genesis and Paige went through a lot but in the end they were there for each other. Romello had me pissed at him. He had everything he could imagine in Kammie but still cheated. I’m glad she made him sweat a bit before giving in even though she knew she wasn’t going anywhere. Overall this was a dope read that ended on a good note.

Good Read

This standalone was good from beginning to end. Enjoy the storyline and these characters and I couldn't put it down. Paige, Kammie, and Kiyomi were the best of friends, until an incident occurred at graduation ruined it all. Reuniting their friendship is tested and throughout it all they remain loyal to each other and have a unbreakable bond. Mello, Adonis and Genesis is exactly what the girls needed, but their relationships endured some heartache and pain. So glad that true love prevailed and they all got their happy ending. Only drawback was some grammar errors, but still a good read. Good job Theresa Reese, Mz. Biggs and Tasha Mack.

Great

This book was great! These ladies were hilarious. Their friendship went through some hardships and pain. Somethings most people may not of been able to come back from. Luckily they had so riders by their side who forced them to work through it. Despite the editing errors this was a really good book.

Ok 👌

Hmmmm okay. The story was interesting to say the least ,however the repeated offensive and cheating men, confused and childess ladies,oh and the need of a editor took away from the story. It was a !medium pace and had a lot going on that could have really made the story line but the extra was a bit to extra and these couples bit a bit differently. All in all a ok read.

So whatever happened to Kammie's brother Korey? It's like after her wedding he just disappered. When a man cheats his significant other shouldn't fault the other chick. They need to take that shit out on they ninja.

Ok read

This book was OK. Took me a while to finished. I felt like the book was rushed. They never went into detail on what happened after graduation or why the other two girls stop talking. The girls ended up being childish throughout the book.

A Boss's Wife

This book was good. The trip of couples went through a lot and a few had terrible pasts, but they were able to work through the cheating, kidnapping, hurt, and pain and come out on top. They all grew to love and respect each other. Great book, great ending!

Wouldn't recommend

I really tried to get into the story, too many storyline, unfinished scenarios, the book was all over the place the execution and delivery are horrible. I was really expecting better. I wouldn't recommend it's a waste of a read.
