Su Ling transmigrated into an ABO novel, and his imaginary male god Gu Liheng was the supporting cannon fodder of this novel.
In the novel, a cannon fodder *shou seek refuge with him, using a favor gained previously to make Gu Liheng marry him. But after getting married, the cannon fodder shou went to pester the protagonist *gong instead, framing the protagonist shou, causing Gu Liheng’s reputation to be damaged, resulting in his death in the end.
Su Ling decided to take Gu Liheng down before he gets forced into marriage by that cannon fodder shou!
Su Ling’s body fell softly on Gu Liheng.
“President Gu, let me smell your pheromones, I feel uncomfortable QAQ”
Gu Liheng handed him an inhibitor.
Su Ling gave Gu Liheng roses every day for a whole week.
“President Gu, I love you, can you marry me?”
Gu Liheng: “No.”
Su Ling: “…” Eff this.
Gotten tired of chasing people around, Su Ling decided to give himself a few days off.
A chill read before going to bed, with low tension, a small amount of drama, and good dose of silliness. I wish the translation had a betareader, it could be improved a lot.
I didn't expect this one to be so good! It's more romance-oriented than other Intergalactic Omegaverse, but that's not a bad thing. The plot could be improved, and sometimes I forgot about what's happening in the background because I was more focused on the couple ❤️. And what a couple they were 🥺!
I liked how different from the usual AO pairing their dynamic was. Nothing about surprised heats or pheromone obsession that's the norm with this type of stories. They were just two guys falling in love and healing each other! The hurt/comfort aspect of this novel was amazing 😍. I felt like the slow burn dragged a little bit, but it didn't feel boring. They both knew what was happening with them, but they had their valid reasons to wait. I respect that, it's just that one of the reasons was for the Alpha to get better mentally and go to therapy (which I approved of!). But it took him a while to realize that the Omega was there to help him, and having someone supporting him during that time could be more productive. But they got there, and everything went well ❤️🩹.
A few details of the main plot at the end were unnecessary and some needed more explanation, but in general it was a great read.
I guess it's because I've gotten used to reading a lot of dog blood revenge books recently that I kept on expecting there to be more drama. Instead, everything's neatly solved pretty quickly behind the scenes, mainly with the help of the spirit plants.
I liked how Su Lang was the proactive one in their relationship always chasing and how the alpha had a legitimate reason for rejecting his pursuit. However, Gu Liheng actively tried to solve his issues before getting together with Su Lang and was 100% a gentlemen and soft for him even before they got together.
I appreciated how nontoxic this book was. Most ABO books have a lot of dub con moments and uber-possessive alphas and overly submissive omegas, but this book treated everyone as humans and no one was taken advantage of due to their gender.
MTL-ed halfway through the story (ch. 40 and above). All the spiritual plants are bae. So adorable 🥰
The MC transmigrated into a novel and meet his male god. The one that he adore for being a truly responsible man and end up dying. The one who give him stability when he not truly believe in marriage and love.
For the ML, MC is like a light into his life. Traumatic childhood till he has a mental problem. And MC come. So adorable and steal his heart ❤️
Rating: 3/5- This was not terrible, but it was not great either.
Throughout the book there’s this definitive sense that things aren’t explored fully or used to its full potential. I liked many concepts that the book had- such as a society that does not discriminate against omegas and they are independent and have careers and authority. The spiritual plants concept has always been something I like and the non-rapey characters were great.
What let’s this story down is how flat the author tells her story. Like what is the actual point of this story?
There also doesn’t really seem to be much natural chemistry between the characters and their relationship feels very boring. Also a huge pet peeve of mine is when authors use mental illness in books but don’t actually understand or explore it correctly. The PTSD that the ML suffered was written weakly and then miraculously solved in a few sentences. His relationship with his mother was also very poorly constructed knowing that she was his trigger.
A big flag: LOVE DOES NOT INSTANTLY CURE MENTAL ILLNESS
I felt bored as I approached the second half of the book as it meanders and there’s not much excitement. Some parts were also unnecessary. There’s not much to really look forward to once the couple get together. Most times I enjoyed reading about Lin Meng and I definitely enjoyed all the spiritual plants- they were lovely.
With such a wonderful world set for ABO it felt like the author threw the plot to the wind.
Not really recommended if you’re into better storytelling and substantial plots but definitely not the worst story out their either. It has its own wins that are definitely great in the ABO genre.
Both the characters and the reading are too adorable. At first I wasn't too sure about reading it since I don't normally read ABO but I'm glad I stuck with it, this read is very light and not complicated at all, perfect for getting started in the ABO world. The MC is exceedingly calm which I love, she thinks clearly and is not your typical "damsel in distress" of course not. This Omega pursues and shows affection to his alpha without reservation which is very refreshing for readers (well at least for me) just great.
The ML is too tender and innocent, he doesn't realize the Omega's flirting until the Omega confesses it to him. This alpha made me feel so sorry for her trauma 💔 and more when she was rejecting the omega for fear of not making him happy, but everything got better in the end.
My favorite part of the novel was the interactions of Uncle Long and Papa Xiao, they are too funny that I took many screenshots. I just love their friendship so comical 😂💖.
The next thing I'm going to write is the spoiler of the ending.
Well at the end the duo of friends became the trio of friends, just beautiful 💕 Uncle Qin is like the tie that binds Uncle Long and ya dad Xiao for being so calm 🥺💕. I also forgot to mention that the nice thing about this novel is that in the end the original soul of the body (omega) also got his happy ending he deserved :')

It was too fluffy for me, I wanted there to at least be a little angst from when Su Ling stopped pursuing the ML but even that was just an easy cleared up misunderstanding. It was all pretty straight forward and they liked each other and got together quickly. Something that people might like is that there are a lot of chapters of them being together since there are quite a few novels that end abruptly after the main couple gets together, but that's not a problem here. I did also appreciate the world building, spiritual sentient plants was not something I have ever really read about before but towards the end I did start to get bored with all the conversations with the plants lol
Summary: Su Ling transmigrates into a novel where his favorite character, the ML, dies due to a villanous side character. Su Ling inherits a spiritual plant that the ML needs and Su Ling immediately decides that he will use it as an opportunity to get close to the ML and chase him to help him avoid his fate in the novel. Fluff ensues.
Overall mildly entertaining. I definitely found the novel I read before it a bit more bleh. I kept forgetting this world had a futuristic scifi setting though, so every time the author would make a one off mention of something more futuristic, it threw me for a loop. Also, it dragged on way longer than it needed to. I'm not sure if it's because the extras weren't clearly marked as extras or what, but the main plot wrapped up and the book... didn't end. It turned into trope bingo, like the author had realized some tropes hadn't been checked off the list yet so they were approaching them one at a time. I wish the story had just ended after the stuff with MC's grandfather. That would've been a fine point to finish it. The s level plants were great though. Might've been the best characters in the whole novel.
pros: really liked mc and love interest, side characters are also pretty solid (also really liked that the original protagonist isn’t vilified), pretty unique and interesting world with the spiritual plants, love interest finds out about the transmigration AND we get an explanation as to how it went on the other side which is nice, pretty good abo novel since it doesn’t have a lot of the aspects of abo i don’t like (no dub/noncon, sexism doesn’t really exist, not sexualised etc), mpreg/kid is reduced to the last 2-3 chapters and even there done in a way that isn’t uncomfortable
cons: some questions are left open towards the end (especially ones that get brought up in the final arc?? for example the entire king of kail thing feels unfinished)
IMO kind of a unique background where the focus of ABO isn't on mecha. Read plenty of ABO involving mecha where the As are like the highest caste and Os are just for making babies. However, in this novel Os are quite important for medicines and other aspects due to their pheromones.
However, the plot development and antagonists are quite... lacklustre? The plot is fairly predictable, and the antagonists do not pose much of a challenge, being largely settled within four chapters at most.
With that said, it is still a fluffy novel with lots of dog food. Kinda short read. Worth reading once.
I really skipped only several chapters which says more about me being patient and masochistic than about novel being any good... 3 words to describe: OP MC, stupid plot, tooth rotting fluff (thats more than 3 words 😁). The 1 and 3 maybe ok if you dont mind, i dont mind it myself sometimes, but combined with 2 it is just too irritating.
It’s a short 87 chapters with close knit romance from beginning to end. It’s surprisingly not bland for such a short transmigration story. There are brief dramatic moments for highlights and tension. The storyline is logical making it easy to follow. The MC and ML are a bit too predictable. Their romance makes up for the shortcomings. Worth reading once. 4/5
