Jamie Wilson is a vampire who hunts down rouge vampires but after getting injured Jamie needs help.
Archer Langley is an alpha wolf who hates vampires with a passion but teaming up with a vampire to hunt rouge vampires was not on his to do list.
this book is a must read from this author.

Jamie was caught hacking a website that she wasn’t supposed to do, for that she was going to prison for the rest of her life. But Morgan needed a person with computer skills on her team, so when she gave her a choice of prison or vampire Jamie took vampire. She was turned and became a hunter, she was undercover to get info on a dreadful vamp. But her caught her and her tortured, beaten her eyes burnt and sewn shut her hands broken with a hammer and then bled out and buried so the sun would get her. Finally rescued by her team was put under the protection of a dragon and Archer the wolf alpha. First he hated her because of what the vampires did to do his wife she killed herself. But Jaime’s goodness and heart won him over and the pack after some problems were addressed. Then kidnapped again by the bad vamps enforcer everyone worked together and found her. So everything turned out great!

This is a great love story between a turned vampire and a shifter. Jamie is a vampire hunter fighting to stop the war between the witches and the vampires. She is badly injured and is taken to a safe house in shifter territory. The alpha Archer can't help his attraction. I loved Jamie's imagined description of the alpha. As this is the second book in the series there are a few carry over events from the first book like Sofia still being encased in stone and Travis waiting for her to recover, you need to read the first book to follow all of the events. This is a great read with great characters and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Wow! “Hunter Turned” is the 2nd amazing, incredibly addictive must read in the fantastic Hired Hunters series, and I read it all within a few hours coz I didn’t want to stop! ... Another fast-paced PNR storyline, with action & romance, and awesome characters like Jamie & Archer the H/h. Plus witty dialogue, great descriptions & surprises thrown in, combine together & will pull readers into this page-turning story that kept me glued to my seat :D I was happy to find this available during my Kindle Unlimited, “trial” membership, so yes I can honestly recommend this book to adult fans of fiction and now back to reading the 3rd book!

Jamie is recovering from a brutal beating after finding information she wasn't supposed to find. Archer Langley is the Alpha wolf of the pack Jamie & her friends are staying with. Sparks fly between them as she heals. Causing Archer to question his hatred of all things vampire. They must put aside their differences as a threat of new rogue vampire attacks escalates.
I really enjoyed reading their story as their get to know each other & slowly change their views on their respective races.

A Hunter Turned (Hired Hunters Series Book 2) by Kimberly Forrest is an amazing story to read. This is book number two in this amazing series that I have loved reading and can not wait to read more from this author. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about fantasy and paranormal romance.

A vampire who hunts rogue vampires, severely injured in the line of duty.
An Alpha would hates all vampires, approves letting said vampire recover on his land.
Can the two co-exist during the recovery? What happens when they need to work together to get the rogues who would take out all the witches and vampire hunters just to take over the territory?
Can prejudices be set aside? Can the pack accept those who are different.
This is a great read and hard to put down.

This is the 5th book I've read written by Kelly Dawson; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book; a great vampire story.

Great sequel to the first book.
I enjoyed the fluidity of the POVs, rather than rigidly sticking to the one selected for any given chapter, it changed/adapted as needed for the storytelling. Made the story itself more fluid as well as it felt like you were following the story itself rather than just one or two characters.
Looking forward to Kane's story.

The story line was good, the character work was terrific and the book had a fairly smooth flow to it. This was a great addition to the series and I was entertained from beginning to end.

Jamie is a vampire who hunts other vampires that break the laws. During the last case, she was injured. Now she is recuperating in the alpha wolf shifter's home. Archer doesn't like vampires. He despises them, but the cute little vampire healing at his home might be special.

Another great addition to the series! I loved the characters and watching their relationship develop over the pages. The story was fast-paced and I enjoyed reading about the other characters as well. I look forward to the next in the series.

A HUNTER TURNED is the second book in the Hired Hunter series. This is a continuing series and you do need to read them in the order of release. Each book is better than the last.

Archer, the alpha of the New Orleans pack, has every reason to believe there are no redeeming characters in the vampires. So why is he now so attracted to the beauty recovering in the dragon’s cabin?
Jamie is smart, strong, and no-nonsense personified. She isn’t going to take recovery just lying down. She’s ready to get back to work! Blind? Why would that stop her? Smexy alpha werewolf with adorable daughter isn’t going to slow her down one bit either.
Speaking of adorable daughter – Cady is sure to steal anyone’s heart. She’s not the only supporting character to add to the story in significant measure. Archer’s pack is full of wolves that I would want as friends in addition to the Hunters.
